This will work great as a sweater. Can be worn on it's own or in conjunction with a baselayer/collared shirt, whatever you like. As such, the neck on this is on the wider size to accommodate, so keep that in mind. Need more colors.

I bought two of these a month ago and they have exceeded my expectations in every regard. They are light, ultra comfortable, and the perfect balance of warmth plus breathability. The best part is I can wear them to the office with a dress shirt underneath and they pass as "business attire" -- I simply can't say enough great things about the Dallen Fleece Pullover!

This is simply one of the best fleece tops I have ever owned. Extremely well constructed, super warm, and oh so comfortable! Fits perfectly, and looks great to boot. The only problem I have is that my wife keeps lifting it from my closet so SHE can wear it on chilly mornings! Well done, Arc'teryx; this is an outstanding product!

I got the color Agra (orange) and wore it during the month of October. I'm so glad that I did because I received good compliments when wearing it that it became my favorite go-to sweater for any cold weather low output type of day. I even wore this during camping underneath my Atom SL and a shell jacket and just LOVE the feel of the fleece next to skin. I wouldn't recommend wearing it for any medium to high output type of activity. This is just made for urban environment or perhaps around the house. The only downfall though is when drying after a wash, it is recommended to dry flat. I don't have many places to lay it flat for such a long time without getting anything else wet. I ended up air drying it with a hanger.

I've only had this top a few days & have to say it's one of the best things I've owned. So comfortable next to skin, or with a tee shirt underneath. Please can we have some better colours please.

I have had this item for about a month now and it has become my go to pullover! The fleece material they use in the construction of this item is awesome, it is incredibly soft and comfortable. I'm 5'10" 165lbs and typically purchase large clothing for my upper body as I find Mediums to small and tight. I decided to purchase this Pullover in a Medium and glad I did, it fit perfectly. I would highly recommend this product to anyone and will likely be buying more in other colors very soon.

When Arc'teryx makes a good product, they make the best ever and this sweater is one of them. I've worn sweaters all my life (~50 years) and I think this is my favourite. It's got the warmth of my old navy sweater and is probably the lightest weighing sweater that I've ever worn. It's great for backpacking, walking around the city, and for multi-day hikes. I wear it to the office over my shirt sometimes. When I'm walking around the city on cold days, all I need is base layer, a t-shirt, and this sweater and I'm totally warm. I've ended up buying three of them -- they're awesome!

I got a Dallen fleece pullover in Larix about a month ago, and I swear the only reason I haven't worn it more is because my coworker commented on how many times I've worn it. Rustled my jimmies a little, ya know? 'How many times have I worn it?' 'I swear they weren't scheduled for at least half the times I've worn it.' 'How many days are there in a month?' Either way: -It's comfortable enough to be a piece to wear on the shop floor or at my computer but cozy enough for lounging around the house -It's well cut, to the point that it moves with me rather than against me -The cuffs are that perfect size where they stay up when you roll them up, but aren't like wizard sleeve when down I will point out that I was mildly surprised by the fact that the small fit me. My Fission SV is a small, but everything else I've owned from Arc is a medium. Would recommend getting both and returning the size that you don't like. (Or just give one to your bestest friend who is close in size to you, or keep 'em both for yourself.

The interior of this fleece is maybe softest fleece I have ever worn. The fit is great, and it can be dressed up or down. The outer surface feels somewhat rugged - if it resist pilling through this winter I will be buying more. The fit is trim and long enough for me at 6'4". I purchased a Large.

This is a great sweater. It's a nice streamlined design that you can dress up or down. And it's super-soft on the inside and very stretchy, so extremely comfortable to wear. Fit-wise it's not a super-trim fit, but it's not baggy - a nice middle of the road fit that doesn't look too tech-y or casual. For reference, I'm 6'1", 175 lbs, long arms, and the medium fits perfect. As someone else noted, it would be nice if the logo were embroidered, but that's pretty minor to me. I like that it's subtle and not on the chest.

je vous conseille vivement le Dallen, un peu moins "sporty" que les produits Arcteryx en gnral , se porte facilement en mode travail-urbain , beau produit

I purchased the blue color last year it has been a go-to layer for casual Friday's and weekends. I just picked up the dark grey color and it is every bit as good as the blue. I particularly like two things the taper from chest to waist and the fact that the bottom hem is an "open" hem instead of an elastic hem. It fits much better this way.

Polartec is the best. The fit is perfect. Super warm without being bulky. Not sure how this could be any better. Exactly what a midlayer should be when you don't need a high collar or zip option. I think it's a little crazy that these sold out in every size and color before somebody wrote a review! Probably because they don't want to miss getting their 2nd or 3rd one, like me. You have a winner here Arc, keep making these forever.
