I ordered the grey in a size 8 - which is my normal size and the size I usually wear in Born shoes (I probably have 5 pairs of Born boots in my closet). These run really big - and unfortunately do not come in half sizes. I liked them enough to try in a 7, which I think will work as it is snug but there is room in the toe, just is a little shorter in the heel than I would like but still decent. Hoping they will stretch a little. Leather is soft; I can't comment on the comfort level while wearing as it's been too cold for sandals yet, but the foot bed is nicely padded. If you are a half size, try sizing down, and if not (like me) - these may not work for you, but worth trying as they are really cute!!

I really love this shoe. It is the most beautiful light dove gray color. The straps are a nice natural elastic material that looks great with the gray leather. As for the sizing, I am a true 8 that occasionally needs a wider footbed in a sandal. This shoe does fit comfortably, but if my foot were any wider (or my ankle any thicker) they would probably be too tight. So if your foot leans wide, know these may not work. I am glad I purchased them. They look great with jeans, skirts, and maxi dresses.

Runs very large and unfortunately doesn't come in 1/2 sizes. I usually wear a 7.5 and ordered a 7 and it was still roomy. Order a size down, otherwise really cute and I get tons of compliments.

These are very cute and the footbed is comfortable but I am returning them because the elastic around my ankles is too tight.

These are SO cute but have big sizing issues. Like the previous reviewer stated they run big. I really need a half size and they don't come in half sizes. I am always a size 7 and the size 7 is definitely too big. They feel unstable, sloppy, and I am curling my toes when I walk because I feel like my foot is going to come out. The elastic band is also way too big. I reordered in a 6 and they feel fantastic EXCEPT my heel comes right to the back of the shoe and once I start walking, by toes push my foot back such that my heel hangs over the back just a tad. Not the end of the world for some people, but a heel hanging over is a huge pet peeve of mine. Ugh, they are sooo cute I want to keep them so badly, but they are pricey for heel overhang. Not sure if I will keep or not. The only other con for me is that they used a velcro closure instead of a buckle. For $90 and a brand like Born, a buckle would have made these look so much nicer and may have made it so that I could tighten the ankle more and keep the larger size. With the free returns from Zappos these are worth a try.

So sad to be returning. Super cute shoe, but ZERO arch support if your feet are of normal width. You would have to have an incredibly narrow foot to feel the little bit of arch support that is built in. But love the styling!

Unfortunately, I had to return these shoes with much regret. Born shoes usually run a little larger than most shoes. I wear a size 8 and they were true in length for me. I have thin feet so when I buy Born shoes I use foot pads in the top of the shoes to elevate my feet otherwise they are ill fitted on me. I loved the style and the comfortable padding in the shoe, however, the elastic on the right shoe only was extremely loose. It was stretched out of shape. While I love the style of the shoe I'm giving it one star for an overall rating because I had to return them.
