I saw two women at work wearing them. I fell in love with them immediately. I love patent-leather, and Franco Sarto, shoes. I read the reviews. So many mentioned ordering the shoe a half size smaller. I am a true 7. I ordered both the 6.5 and 7. I tried the 6.5 on in the morning. They fit ok; a bit snug, but ok. Then I tried them at night after being on my feet all day. They were too tight. Patent- leather doesn't give. I'm returning them. When I tried on the 7, they were a bit loose but with a pair of shoe socks, they fit beautifully. I love them.

I love this shoe. Very nice looking and comfortable, making it a perfect city shoe. Unlike some reviewers, I found these slightly big. I'm generally an 8B. I always add orthaheel arch supports to all my shoe and this shoe easily accommodated a full size insert. The added arch support makes them very comfortable. This shoe will definitely be one of my favorites!

The 6.5 and 6 were the exact same size. Shoes run a 1/2-1 size too big. I have to order a 5.5. I am usually a 6.5 in Franco Sarto shoes. Left shoe in blue is a 6.5, and black shoe on the right is a 6.

I first ordered the 11, which was nearly 12 inches long and the heel so wide i stepped out of them. I then ordered the 10, which appeared like an 8 or 9 and i couldn’t even get my foot into it, it was so short. I’m deeply disturbed by this terrible example of Franco sarto quality control. These are so cute but there is no way these are only one size apart.

They feel a bit bigger but ok if I wear socks. Overall, I love them.

This loafer is all around amazing!! The patent leather makes it easy to wear with a pant suit or it also pairs well with jeans. The fit is surprisingly good, I have bunions and thought it would feel too tight across that area. But it was comfortable all day. The quality is also superb!!

Runs VERY small...totally disagree with previous comments. I have a narrow foot and have always gotten a 9.5 for safe measure in enclosed shoes. Just returned the 9.5, and bought a 10. I have never worn a 10 in any shoe before.....RUNS SMALL/NARROW. However, very stylish and nice color (my favorite, navy, possible to find).

Is very pretty but it hurts at the back in my right foot. Is very casual, I love them but I don’t used them everyday

Super cute on and very stylish. Maybe not the most comfortable right off the bat, but I did walk more than a mile without socks and they were reasonably comfortable. Love the color!

The style is amazing for a pants suit or jeans. The comfort is great even all day. The quality is top notch. I would repurchase this loafer it’s is comfortable and The have bunions so I was expecting to have to send it back.

I love these shoes. I have been looking for this type of shoe for months. They will look great with pants andwith tights. I ordered 2 pairs of the black... One size 7 and one 7.5 ( My usual size ) but they were both too large. I ended up with a size 6.5 that fit perfectly. I did not hesitate to order 2 pairs because of zappos free return policy. They are really cute and do not have that " Old time loafer look. "

The style is awesome. The fit is strange. A half size too big, narrow in the toes. My heel slips out when I walk. The heel slip happens even in the next half size down. Too bad because they are super cute.

These shoes do run small. Size 8 is my standard size, but that was too small, as was the 8.5, and size 9 was too big. Also, the shiny silver shoes are not leather :( I don't need plastic shoes that will make my feet sweat and cause blisters. Too bad, because they are so awesome-looking.

I'm usually a size 7 in Franco Sartos but this shoe felt a little loose. I tried on the 6.5 and it was definitely too tight. Ended up keeping the 7s and will be placing an anti-slip guard for the ankle area to present blisters. The shoe is super comfortable out of the box. Planning on wearing this mostly in office where I'm able to switch from sitting to standing. The color is amazing and it's super stylish.

Love, love, love these! I've been looking for a loafer more substantial than a driving moc but had a hard time finding one that didn't have a platform or oversized lug sole. This is exactly what I was looking for and the gorgeous navy blue patent took them up a notch. Perfect with cropped pants or jeans, work or weekend. and they're quite comfortable right out of the box.

True to size for me. I wear and 8 and that is what I selected and wear with this shoe! Love the navy blue patent - classic and unique. GREAT SHOES! Wore them walking all day in Chicago with no issue.

Look great but feel heavy. Fit is a bit off-- narrow in front but too wide in the heel.

Good. It is just really loose in the heel and over a half size too big. It's going back.

Sadly, these shoes were a poor fit as they kept slipping up off my heel. But, what I would really like to say in this review is BUYER BEWARE when ordering from Zappos now. Rather than refund my money to my original for of payment, they refunded it to a gift card without my permission. I will never order from Zappos again. That's takig a lot of liberty with *my* money.

These shoes are a classic and can be worn with dress pants or jeans. Quality looks good , and I love the patent leather with the tassels. They were too big and, unfortunately, do not have a 1/2 size down in the Wide width. I normally wear a 6.5 to 7, and the size was definitely on the larger size.

They fit so great and are so comfortable I love it. I usually wear a 8 1/2 and I bought a 8W and it fits perfectly

I've had the craziest response to these shoes when I wear them. I actually had a nurse technician ask if he could touch them because they are so shiny. They fit great too!

I bought these in a 9(W) in black & navy. They are so cute and comfy. I purchased different pair years ago and I decided to try them again because young girls complimented me on them. They look nice with dress pants or jeans. The price I caught was great too. Glad I got them before they were gone. My sister saw mine and bought them too. Really good over fit and comfort and stylish. Couldn’t be happier.
