Excellent trail shoe especially in mud, grass, gravel, etc. Works fairly well on asphalt as well because the sole is made of a more durable rubber than some of the other models, which makes the shoe more adaptable, less specialized. Inov8 is the only trail shoe I’ll return to after several brands. Speedy profile, only a 4mm drop, more cushion than some of the lightest inov8’s but still much less than most road and trail shoes.

These shoes were just a little too small. Maybe a quarter size too small. But, I removed the thicker insoles used slim orthotics and put in a slim insole from another pair of shoes. I did need a shoe stretcher to get space in the outside of the shoe. This brand really angles in in the toe box. But, I have a hard foot to fit and have given up with the perfect toe fit in relation to the rest of the shoe. Nice and flexible forefoot, but enough support where I still feel like I'm wearing a shoe. Heel plant feels solid. Shoes aren't mushy like many other brands like Hoka that are zero drop but feel like walking on gum drops. If you like a firmer shoe that isn't like a cloud and isn't totally barefoot, this could be a good shoe. Might need a shoe stretcher though for your toes.

This is my 5th pair of Inov-8 shoes and my second pair of Trailtalon 235. I find that Inov-8 shoes fit well, look good, and wear well. I buy the US 12.5 for my size 12 feet (I like a bit of extra toe room). These are my daily use shoes, including 5 to 6 miles every day on our city sidewalks. I like the airy weave of the uppers as my feet stay cool and dry. If I were to offer one suggestion, it would be to offer a less brilliant color (I chose blue rather than red). I really prefer a dark grey.

this style that inov-8 NO LONGER MAKES is my all-time fave...it's most like the original that, also, is no longer available...truly sad, but glad i did find this pair on ZAPPOS

Fit for me was perfect but I do have to order 1/2 a size larger than usual. I wear a lot of inov-8 shoes and they are the only ones I can wear out of the box without orthotics

Most comfortable shoe ever purchased. Ideal for walking and running and very stylish. Worth every penny!!!

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. My 4th pair from Inov-8. Have only worn for last couple of weeks and seem to be made very well like the other styles I have tried.

Order 0.5 size up. I am an eastern mountain runner = almost constantly wet rocks and limbs. I haven’t found better traction on wet surfaces. Low rise and wide tow box are great for feeling medium-rocky terrain. Fewer trips and falls and sprained ankles. I wouldn’t recommend for long distances on gravel, asphalt, or dry, very rocky terrain. Highly recommended!

Love this shoe!! Finally a trail shoe that has rock/dirt feel that has support as well! Very grippy, extremely comfortable!

The best running shoes in the world! They work great on road and trail. Stable, light, and not too puffy. This is my second pair of Inov-8 shoes, and both are my favorite running shoes in decades. The first pair (TerraFly 303) was not the best made shoe, not super durable, but it was so good in all other ways (except color) that I forgave it. The TrailTalon has better traction than the TerraFly. IMO the red and grey TrailTalon also looks better than most running shoes. Durability remains to be seen on the TrailTalon 235.

I initially bought these for trail running. After wearing them for a couple of runs I really loved how lightweight they felt and great grip. I added them as part of my indoor workout routines. My only complains is after only 2 months of use, they are beginning to wear a hole in the upper fabric where it bends for my toes.

Very comfy, great grip, however after 2 months the tread started to wear off and peel from the side of the shoe? The top mesh part as well started to almost tear or rip where the toe bends. Also, if you have narrow feet, you will have a LOT of lace left over after tieing your shoes.
