Excellent water shoes for the boat and wading the flats/beach

I have never reviewed a Columbia product before, but these shoes are simply amazing. I bought these shoes two weeks ago today...and in the last two weeks I spent three days hiking in Moab. I hiked in water (Mill Creek Falls) and on slick rock (Corona Arch, Bow Tie Arch, Double Arch). I then went to Yosemite and hiked Yosemite Falls / Yosemite Point in them. I hiked Muir Woods Canopy Trail in them this morning. These shoes are grippy, comfortable, and dry quickly. These are now my go-to shoes. I cannot recommend these shoes enough!

Purchased for walking in pool. Perfect size, good arch support, grips pool bottom surface, and drains well once out of pool

Comfortable light sneakers. Usually buy heavier ones for autumn. Firts time chosing this kind of model.

These shoes are very comfortable. Run true to size without socks on. Keep your feet cool and airy, but completely look look like normal shoes. Bought them to be special water shoes but have been wearing them everyday because they look and feel great.

I really like these shoes. I ordered my pair for this summer. Easy shoe to wear and very comfortable!!!

Best boat shoe out there, comfortable breathable material that dries super fast.

I just bought a new fishing boat and the first time out I I wore gym shoes not very comfortable. I purchased a new pair of men's Megavent ll PFG shoes what a difference. I told my son and he bought a new pair and loves them as much as I do. We love fishing and we love are new PFG boat shoes.

Shoes are comfortable, durable, slip resistant, and stylish.

I have yet to try the fish guts test and probably never will but COMFORTABLE.

The Columbia Mega Vent II has great features, lightweight, very comfortable making a full day on the deck of a bass boat less taxing! Not too shaby around the office either :)

I love the slip on water shoes, used them for years! Well my back is bothering me and I need lace up water shoes. I wasn't concerned I love Columbia's products. The shoes were so comfortable and just a light as the slip on ones. Waiting for spring!!!

Work as a full time captain and can stand for hours in rough water keeping a good footing on the boats.

These are the perfect boat shoe. Lightweight, stylish, non-slip and comfortable. I bought these because I stand on a boat for hours at a time and these have exceeded my expectations in every aspect. What a great shoe!

I wore these on a guided fishing trip for salmon on the Columbia. I got in and out of the boat numerous times and the shoe drained nicely and dried quickly. They were comfortable to wear without socks! I would buy again!

So far they fit great, have to take them on fishing trip will do the real test of the sneakers.

The Men's Megavent II PFG shoes are great shoes. I fish a lot of jetty and beach environments, and the shoes hold up very well. They provide exceptional stability and grip even when the rocks are slippery with ocean spray and wave action. The shoes are very comfortable, although I do recommend a light sock. After extended wear with no socks, the achilles area can wear on the skin. I would like to see an option in this shoe that provides a softer fabric for the achilles area of the foot that doesn't rub the skin to the point of being irritated when no socks are worn. The water drains very quickly and dries efficiently as well. The shoes is well designed and great quality. I have not ever had a better shoe for fishing and navigating the beach and jerry terrain. I would highly recommend this shoe to anyone.

I ordered the grey steel MegaVent, paid a great price, got free shipping, and still received them a few days after. Fished one of our great Michigan rivers the next day wearing my new shoes. Firstly, they look amazing. They are very light-weight. For vented fishing shoes they are very comfortable. They are very true-to-size. I am an 11.5; that's what I ordered, and they fit perfectly. And, I tested these things on the water. I had to portage a dam, the shoe drained and dried very quickly. I hooked myself and, of course, bled on my new shoes; wiped them clean later that night. The outer soles functioned wonderfully not allowing me to slip around in my boat. Lastly, and best of all, they helped me catch bigger fish.

These are my new favorite & go to shoes! Look & feel great!

After four years of almost constant use I'm amazed at the quality of my first pair (different Columbia name, same style) bought for use when I moved to the Philippines in 2015. I bought a second, back-up pair two years ago that i wear when the first pair is in the laundry or just drying after a soaking. Both size 12 ran a little snug for my wide feet but broke in well over time. These are the only shoes I wear on a daily basis. As I'm now also ordering some shoe glue for my first pair, although they're still completely functional, another pair seems in order. I was concerned that the sturdier side walls would be an issue for my wide feet. While I found them snug in width, happily they run a bit larger than my prior two pair. I just ordered another pair as the price is great and hopefully the quality will be the same as my 2015 ones.

This is the best deck shoe I have ever owned!!

The shoe itself is extremely comfortable and lightweight, at first the bottom cushioning was a little hard for my liking, but they seem to be wearing in really well now. Great grip on wet boats, even was able to save my self once that with regular shoes I most likely would have ended up in the water. The blood and guts treatment has also worked well so far - had literally blood and fish and just dipped them in the lake, and right back to looking like new! Love them!
