Love the Santiam sandals. They are very comfortable, even right out of the box, no break-in required. They do not require leaning over to reach my foot to put the sandals on, either, which is perfect for Seniors.

I used this sandals to hike down and see Bonsai Rock at Tahoe Lake, I also walk in the water with them. They felt very comfortable.

Great sandals! They look great, fit very well and true to size and only took a day or so to break them in and wow, are the comfortable. I really like them.

I've give my wife the credit because she has a love for all kinds of shoes. These are comfortable, durable, and waterproof. I've walked a long distance on the boardwalk and up/down short hills after poring down rain, wet dirt, and streets. Good grip and no slippage. Highly recommend these sandals.

Because my left foot has nerve damage and is very sensitive I need something with an ankle strap in order to keep it on my foot and also some thing that is comfortable because I wear them a lot this sandal fits both of my requirements

I really like these sandals. It is my second pair. I don't even remember how many years the first ones lasted. They are really great for walking in trails with great grip. The fact that they are of leather makes them great. I did like more in the previous model that the strap behind the ankle was also adjustable. Not many people like them as they look a little old fashioned but I love them.

Fits like a second skin on the bottom of my foot with great traction and cushioning. Very solid feel to lateral forces where it holds tight to your foot without being uncomfortable.

I was looking for a new pair of sandals for camping and hiking and the Columbia Santiam are perfect. First off, they are very comfortable for casual everyday use. The midsole cushioning is very soft and molded to help hold your foot, the suede leather very pliable. Tread is very grippy for traction out on the trail. Great value, I highly recommend.

very comfortable ,better than any others I have worn.Look like they are well made.I have to wear for some time before I can comment on durability although quality of materials looks good.

I just replaced my pair I bought 7 years ago. I wear these a lot in the summer and sometime even in the winter for driving. The straps broke and the padding was just starting to come off. I love these for the tread that they have on the bottom and the comfort of the sole. I would highly recommend these to anyone. The colors change slightly over the years. I like to keep mine loose, so I would like the velcro to allow wider but they fit fine if worn as intended.
