First off they are extremely comfortable. I could spend all day at work in temps down to zero degrees with no problem. Great grip on ice and snow, only ice cleats give better traction.
However, after about a month and a half the sole is separating from the rest of the boot.
It's too bad as I am a long time Merrell shoe buyer. I have their Cold Pack zip up boots that I wear everywhere and for the last couple years, their Moab boots, and their Jungle Mocs. All amazing shoes with no issues.
These ones just don't meet the usual Merrell quality.

Boot fits ankle and bottom of foot fine, and is a fit length wise on my foot, but from just past my heel out to my toes it seems like I could stack two of my feet up. I look down and they almost look like clown shoes. Sole was a bit awkward the first day I wore them, but has broken in very nicely and seems to be very comfortable after a few weeks of wear. As far as The ice tread, it is a better grip than normal work boots, but I'd still feel the need for ice creepers if very slippery

They absolute most comfortable and warmest winter boot I've ever owned (2 years ago). The one and only problem was they barely made it through the winter. The soles fell completely apart worse than any boot I've ever had. I'm still tempted to buy another pair but I can't justify paying that much for 3-4 months of use.

Besides being bulky they do not breathe. My feet never stopped sweating in these and I was working outside in 25 weather. I guess these would be great for hunting.

Boots are bulky and a bit awkward walking in them also a pain to tighten from bottom to top I'd return if I could!

Love how lightweight they are, Very Warm, Extremely comfortable, Great traction, Safety toe is well constructed, lacing System easy to use, I really like the upper material it makes it so easy to clean with a wet rag so we can get off the salt used on roads and sidewalks. HOWEVER, I have two suggestions to make this work boot just a little bit better. First the tongue of the shoe is a little too high. It sticks over the top of the boot quite a bit and when I get out of the truck my pant leg always gets caught in the top of the booth. The tongue needs to lay flatter. I'm constantly readjusting my pant leg because it gets caught on the tongue. Also if you step in a snowbank snows going to get caught in between your ankle in the top of the tongue. And this brings me to my next point that I wish the boot was a tad higher so that if you were to step in a deep snowbank you were protected higher up on the ankle.

So far my feet are warm and dry. They are very clunky , like a Frankenstein boot. And very heavy imo. The boot gets stuck under my hand truck when I'm dropping off product. If I could find a lighter weigh bot that's water proof I would go for that instead of thus one. I shouldn't have bought it online so could've tried it on.

I bought these to do a winter hike and was a bit disappointed. The first 3 miles were fine and the boots felt very comfortable, however water began penetrating them even though they're supposed to be water proof. I also developed blisters in both my big toes. I won't give up on them but thisn as disappointing considering the price

Incredibly comfortable, super warm but no where near durable. Atleast not for work. Mine lasted 3 months before falling completely apart.

They are made of plastic and one came out of the tip at the top of the cap.

I tried a pair of these out and was impressed with how light and comfortable they were. They were warm until they were no longer water proof. I wore them for work as a letter carrier so it was extremely important that my feet stay dry. However these boots started letting water in before they made it thorough their first winter. Though comfortable and lightweight, I expected better performance out of a pair of boots as expensive as these are. At their price point, I shouldn't have to wrap my feet in plastic bags before I head to work for the day.

Great looking and sturdy but my feet felt very tired from an uncomfortable sole. Wore these for 2 weeks hoping I would adjust to them. Definitely not as comfortable as Moab's so I not purchase again.

Wore them for less than an hour. Not comfortable at all. If you don't stand or walk in them they might be ok.

I got these boots on April 27,2020 and wore them for 4 weeks. I have a huge slit in the sole of them. Very disappointed for the amount of money spent on these.

First of all I'm big fan of this brand. most of the products last for a long long time
but this one is total opposite. i had these shoes for about four months & they are completely falling apart.
Very warm & comfortable but bottom part is starting to separate and leak as well.
Would NOT recommend

I bought these boots for work. They are warm and comfortable. However, this week the laces broke. Now I've discovered that the eyelets are clothe and I can't get the replacement laces through them. Now I'm faced with the possibility that I'll have to throw perfectly good boots away because I can't leave them!

I'm a ups driver and I need good waterproof boots. These are not them. My first pair the lace broke and they leaked so I returned them. My new pair leak as well on had them three months and my socks are soaked through. Why do they say water proof when they leak so much ugh horrible.

I was excited to use these for work. I purchased them at the end of August. They look great and feel great. They are very warm and are great for cold weather. Sadly these boots only lasted me 2 months. The soles came off starting from the rear and the side. The inside part started coming off every time I removed my boots. I work on cell phone towers so I don't do much walking, mostly hanging from ropes. It's just disappointing after spending so much money on these.

I purchased these because I thought to myself it would be worth while to spend more on work boots and receive better quality and thus a longer life span in turn spending less on work footwear. I was horribly wrong. I wore these most of the time on construction sites. Mind you, I was merely walking through water and ice to get inside houses wear I was working. I then moved to a new job, exclusively inside, just thought I'd continue to wear them for extra protection. It hasn't even been an entire year and they are completely falling apart! The soles, laces, upper outside of boot as well. I would never buy these or a Merrell product again because they are clearly cheaply made. I would like to get my money back for having the wool pulled over my eyes by this treacherous company. DO NOT BUY!
