The leather and construction feels excellent. These are very comfortable shoes and look very nice without being too dressy. I wear black slacks for work in retail and these would have been great for that. Unfortunately, I had to send them back. I've been wearing Clarks for over 10 years. 3 different styles, all size 9.5 wide that fit perfectly. Now, all their shoes are more narrow than they used to be and no longer fit. I've had to go with another brand to get a true-to-size fitting shoe. That's why I'll always buy my shoes from Zappos! They have the best return policy and their customer service is the best in the business, by far. Even when I don't like the shoes, I'm 100% satisfied with Zappos.

These are nice looking shoes, and seem to be well made, however, as I wore them for a day, I found that I tired while walking for a period. The toe is a little elongated in style, and I did almost stump my toe on a couple of occasions that day. I must say that Zappos is the most user-friendly and easy place to shop, and if returns are necessary, so easy. I will use Zappos as a first choice market for online shoes.

Zappos was true to form! Great website, excellent customer service, and delivered to front door ahead of schedule. ordered on Saturday, received Tuesday. First time ordering Clarks online. Clarks shoe is good fit, very comfortable, and great for the volunteer work I do at the fine arts center as a penguin (usher). A little to high priced. only question is will comfort and fit last for price.

I bought these for my husband. He's a salesman, on his feet all day. He LOOOOOOves these. He says they are very comfortable. The only thing about them is he says the bottoms are a little slippery.

Purchased these for my guy. He likes Clark's, and said these felt great right out of the box. He loves them.

If I join the circus to be a clown I’ll buy these shoes. Way too long.

Was sent two different sizes although both were marked as being the same size.

This is a well built shoe. It is exactly what I was looking for. A plain oxford, no frills. The only downside are the shoe laces. They do come untied quite easily. So I would recommend getting laces that are designed to stay tied. I know they exist because I have them on other shoes. For the money this shoe is still good and better than most of the other shoes I have looked at with similar styling.

These shoes run much longer than their sizing indicates

Nice looking well made shoe but I was disappointed in the fit, in particular the width. I have worn Clark shoes for years and they have always had a generous comfortable toe box. Recent offerings are not the same.

I wanted a plain pair of dressy shoes to wear to work and these looked good. BUT THEY DESTROYED MY FEET the first couple of times I wore them. They cut into my heel and would not get broken in. After a couple of tries, I set them aside and I'll probably try again. But in the meantime I bought another pair that are working out much better.

Another disappointment. This is the third consecutive order from Zappos where the sizing is wrong. Width was correct, but length was waaay off. Felt like I was a court jester wearing those long toes shoes. I have worn 9 1/2 in Clarks for 20 years. Are they stretching them out? Anyway, ordering from Zappos has been a huge disappointment, sure they take the returns, but will I have to order for a year before finding a fit?! I will just go to the mall and have the guy hand me a bunch of shoes. shoe ordering on line just SUCKS for me
