So far..so good. I needed a waterproof boot for the upcoming winter and I was hesitant on getting a pair of Merrell boots. The last pair I had an obvious design flaw across the vamp where repeated flexing would cause the outer rubber shell to crack and break. I'm particularly hard on my footwear and this flaw was easily apparent within a few months. This model appears not to have that design flaw. The fit is true to size and very comfortable. Also, the aforementioned pair was narrow at the toes, which over time can be very uncomfortable. These were wider and roomier, which is advantageous when you wear thicker socks. I tend to ramble on when giving these reviews, so to bottle it up...I was very pleased with this boot and my confidence in Merrell has been restored.

I've had the boots for about 4 months and they are literally falling apart. After a month they started breaking at the seams in the toe area. After a couple months the outer parts of the thick sole started breaking, and stayed at least attached to the shoe until yesterday when 2 large pieces of sole completely broke off from the boots. Which is all why I felt compelled to write this review now

It was a Great shoe to wear for a bit, Just needed a more ventilated shoe to wear for everyday out door work. It did lose its water proofing after a little use so that was a negative. very warm on your feet though, Defiantly only get for the Winter only and a more dry climate as well.

My husband needed a great light hiker for work. These are the boots he chose. He can walk in them all day and they keep his feet dry if it rains. He is very happy with his choice.

Give these a chance after breaking them in. They are boots. Not tennis shoes. The more you work them, the better they are! My last Merrell's lasted 17 years and I wasn't nice to them!

Very good boot. Like the comfort, fit and style. I have only one problem. Is the left boot squeaks when I walk on any surface. Please advise on my options...

The boots run big, so I ordered a half size smaller. They are comfortable and fit well. The boots feel sturdy and well made.

Although I have limited time in these new boots I can say they run true to size, the quality is very good and so far they feel great! I purchased the "Brindle" color and love it! It's great change from the standard tactical black or tan. One thing I really want to mention is the speed of shipping! I ordered them on a Thursday afternoon and they were at my door early Monday with standard shipping!

Comfortable from the first day. Work great outside and keep feet warm. Great too for walking. Walk out dogs 2x per day 2 miles and they are great for that too.

ITS A NICE BOOT SO FAR. It could use speed laces & a softer foot bed.

I usuall wear a wide width bu merrell wides are rally wide for me. Too much work to tie & un-tie,better if they had speed lacers.

Merrell sizing in inconsistent. This W was too wide. Will return this to try a M & review then.

Wear it for EMS duty. I wish the style was better but it is very comfortable for hours of wear. I only wish there was a side zipper for easy on. Other than that the shoe is perfect. I know i can rely on it for traction in any weather.
