I have been debating these shoes for a few months now. I am beyond bummed to report that are super uncomfortable. It is like wearing a block of concrete. The sole has zero flex, so when you try to walk it slips off your heel. I wanted so badly to love these. They ran a half to whole size too large. I am an 8.5-9 and these 8’s slipped off my heel like flip flops. Bummed.

Will be living in these this Spring! I am a true 7 and always size down to a 6.5 in ALL Converse styles for the perfect fit. Pair these with no-show socks and dress them up or down. Similar style to the Superga platforms, but IMO these are more comfortable. Best way to clean the rubber is with a magic eraser to keep them white all season long :)

Obsessed with these! They do run a bit big, I am normally an 8, sometimes a 7.5, and got these in a 7 and they are perfect.

first, i 3 zappos! the company's order and shipping processes are to be envied by every other freakin' online seller!!! now about the kicks: i'm a BIG fan of converse. have been for years. in fact i've had a love affair with no-laces cons since i could purchase shoes on my own. this is my first time ordering the platform, lace up cons and i'm glad i did. --- as we all know, converse have zero arch support. for arch support, purchase some inserts and be sure to order a 1/2-size up in your cons. see? problem solved. --- next, i have bunions (both feet, including tailor’s. UGH!!!!). the cons medium width is usually no longer a problem ** after ** the third time wearing. this includes me wearing a thin no-show sock. --- my traditional shoe/tennis shoe size is either 7.5 or 8. in converse i noticed that a size 7 (or 5-mens) works best for me. after reading other reviews i ordered a size 7.5 which was a BIG mistake for me. in the photos I’m wearing the 7.5 with a no-show sock. (do my feet look like boats? can’t decide. moving on…) also, these pics were taken at night when my feet and ankles are usually swollen to the point where they look like biscuits trying to escape a cannister. :-/ too much sharing? anyhoot, i ** think ** what i’m going to do is return the size 7.5 pair and order the 7 (when they are back in stock ::le sigh::) to keep. it’s doubtful that i’ll be using an insert for arch support or doing a lot of walking in these wonderful kicks. they’re meant to be adorable on my feet and help complete whatever fantastic outfit i’m wearing. :-P

These shoes are cute as all get out, but ORDER A FULL SIZE SMALLER, THEY RUN HUGE!

I purchased the silver and loved them so much, I purchased the black ones the following day. Fit and comfort are like any other chuck taylor style. Platform is a fun detail.

I am usually a 6 and I ordered a 5.5 and they were still too big.

Definitely takes a little bit of getting used to but received so many compliments and people asking if they could copy me ??. I’m a true size 8 but sized down by half a size and the 7.5 fits perfectly.

These shoes are soooooo cute. I own at least 6 pairs of converse and I am always a size 8. I ordered a 8 in these and they might be JUST a little big, but it’s definitely not an issue. They’re very comfortable and stylish. I’m very happy with them.

I LOVE these shoes. I own two other pairs of low top converse, and these are by far my favorite. In terms of sizing - my other two pairs of converse are 7.5 (I’m usually an 8 in other shoes) and I ordered a 7.5 for these as well and I’m glad I did. A 7 would’ve been too small. Some other reviewers have mentioned the shoe “slipping off the heel” which happened to me the first time I put them on. But I just laced the shoelaces through the last eyelet (I normally don’t) and that completely fixed the issue. So my advice is order the same size of what you normally wear in converse, or a half size down of what you normally wear in other shoes.

Order a WHOLE SIZE SMALLER!! The hubby got me a pair of these for my birthday two weeks ago and he based the size on my current kicks. He read some reviews that said order a half size smaller. I’m reordering a WHOLE SIZE SMALLER. I think the platforms change the fit of the shoes. I have a few other platforms and they’re also half to whole sizes smaller than most of my regular shoes or flats. Other than they they are awesome and I’ll be back for a second pair!

My search continues ! These are cute converse sneakers. I wear a 9 but as others suggested I ordered down a 1/2 size and the fit was good. There's room in the toe box which is good for my bone spurs in my big toe. There's a little heel slippage but with adjusting the laces you can minimize that. They aren't too heavy which sometimes happens with platforms. My only complaint and why I'm returning them ; they make my size 9 foot look like clown ?feet ! ??

I loved the color. A little bigger than what I thought but that is okay I can wear a gel insole to take up the space. I know next time to buy a half size smaller. The platform model of this specific shoe is what makes it so comfortable.

These are so cute and comfortable. I’m short and love having the extra little bit of height! I have a few pairs of regular low top Chucks and ordered the same size (7), thinking they might fit the same. They did not; I had to go a full size down to a 6.

LOVE THESE SHOES!!! I did have to go down a half size! Definitely a little on the heavy size but not too bad!!

I liked it very much. I did order Half a size down according to what the other reviews were saying and it worked out perfectly. I felt the platform was not too stiff and they are very fun to wear.

My first Converse. Love the new platform style and they will be perfect for summertime. I had ordered originally, based on others reviews, a full size down; however, that was much much too small. A half size worked perfectly for me, and Zappos customer service on the exchange came through with flying colors! I love these shoes, but will definitely Scotchguard before wearing out of the house, as I've heard the white canvas gets dirty quite easily. You could wear with or without socks...either way, they are incredible.

I’ll start by saying I love converse all star sneakers since I was a kid and still do now nearly 40. Converse all star sneakers have never been known for arch support because there is no arch support I still find them comfortable I’m not flat footed nor do I have a super high arched foot but I never had a problem wearing my chucks all day regardless of the no arch support. I do feel like these run large but very slightly large normally in sneakers I wear an 8 1/2 but these I ordered a 9 and I still don’t think the shoe is a full half size larger so I’m glad I ordered the half size up because they are perfect ! Love them !!!!

This shoe is as cute as it looks and is relatively comfortable. I ordered a half size smaller than my usual. (I wear an 8 but ordered a 7.5.) At the time of my order, 7.5 was the smallest size. I'm glad because I probably would've ordered a size 7 based on the reviews. The 7.5 fits great with a little room even with socks. For me, a full size smaller wouldn't be my ideal fit. As far as the lift that the platform provides, I think it's about 3/4 inch. I'm happy with this purchase!

LOVE! I'd definitely go a half to a full size down in these. I am normally a 9-9.5 Women's, and I ordered an 8.5. They fit great! My feet are pretty narrow, and I do not slide out of these at all. Super cute and trendy.

I bought these shoes in gold for my granddaughter to wear to her snow ball with a cream and gold dress. I am so glad I read the reviews about them running a full size bigger. She normally is an 81/2 and I ordered a 71/2 after reading the reviews, and I am so glad I did. They fit perfectly, and they will look super cute with her dress. I know you are saying “sneakers with a dress?!” But they are perfect for my not so girly girl, and they are platforms so they kinda look like a dress sneaker in the gold color.

Wore them for 11 hours straight out of the box. Love.

I normally wear a size 7 but for some reason I am now wearing a size 7.5 in athletic shoes. These shoes are cute and are a tad big in a 7.5. I think a size 7 would be too small though so order a half size up if that's what you normally wear in athletic shoes.

I took some reviewers recommendations and went down a half size. This didn’t work for me. I would order your regular size. The thicker sole gave these more cushion than regular converse.
