Great quality. A lot of different/useful pockets. love the carrying handle as well for when I'm not wearing it on my back. Only negative is the boxy shape sometimes gets in the way./

I use this as my everyday purse. It's small and light weight. I do wish it were a little bit bigger

Purchased so I could carry my wallet and an extra diaper for my kid without having to tote a huge bag. Really comfortable, fits what I need, just wish there was one more small pocket for keys

The bag is a perfect size for compact items but the tablet pocket doesn't fit my iPad Pro 10.5 by a long shot. The main compartment is barely large enough if I force my iPad in.

I love this thing. There's nothing comparable out there in this perfect size. It's very simple. It has an awesome handle. I don't know what the heck people keep in those huge day packs they carry around, but this should be all you need. The outer pocket is bigger than it looks in the photos above (you could fit a book in there) but there's still enough room for a skinny water bottle in the main compartment. I might shorten the strap on the sewing machine but if you're not very, very small you won't have to. I'm going to stuff it in my 40L pack and take it on a long walk between hostels in Europe as a day bag.
It has one significant flaw (other than not being green). The description claims that it's 'ambidextrous', but, whatever that means, the bag can NOT be worn cross-body on either shoulder. The strap is attached to the bottom left corner of the bag, so you have to wear it cross-body on your RIGHT shoulder or hanging long on your left. It really won't cooperate the other way. Oddly, if you wear it cross-body on the left shoulder UPSIDE DOWN it will settle horizontally across your lower back, zippers up. Looks and feels natural enough that way, but like a whole different bag. I for one will be learning to live with these options because I like it so much, but it would be perfect if the strap could detach and move to the other bottom corner. Wouldn't be hard to do.

Wanted a handy little pack to carry wallet, keys, phone & ipad mini in an otterbox case. Checks all the boxes and doesn't weigh me down or sag. Looks neat enough for town.

I only bring small items to work including medications, wallet, extra charger, etc. I have no need for a regular size backpack for these items, so the field bag is perfect! Its also large enough to carry my 40oz Hyrdoflask, but not with all my other items in it.
My only real con is that the strap can hook to either side depending on if you want it over you right or left shoulder. However, if you strap it so it hangs over your left shoulder, the zippers are only on one side and inaccessible unless you completely remove the bag off your body.

The bag is great, it's comfortable and fits tons of small items. Only con is it doesn't fit a larger phone that we might all own inside the phone compartment. I guess you can just use the larger pockets for that and store some money in the phone sleeve.

This little pack is just right for me when it comes to carrying the essentials on a day trip or short flight. My iPad mini and phone fit along with a few other things. The flaw is that the zippers only run down one side, so there is not full access to the compartments. You have to slide items in, and it makes it difficult to access the inner pouches. I would give 5 stars if it opened up like most day packs.

You'll never go wrong with The North Face when it comes to style, durability and even the colors. This bag is elegantly made. I got the green one which really nice. There's so much pocket that is so useful, perfect for person like me who is so organized. If you're looking for a perfect bag that is not so big nor small and best for traveling this one is made for you.

I hate using regular "pocketbooks" but also don't want to wear a monster pack pack either. This sling bag is just the right size for what I carry.

Pros: Great style and colour.
Cons: Won't fit an iPad even when it says it can and that was the real reason I had bought this for my child. This needed to be a tad bit wider and then there would be no cons.

I got this initially to use for my iPad. As the image shows one, and the dimensions seemed spot on, I went ahead and ordered one. All the measurement seem right except for the width. The 8.25" width is only achievable if you flatten it out, otherwise . . And assuming you're going to carry something, it is all of 6.5" wide. So the image must show an iPad mini. I'm going to hang on to this and use it for other things, but it was a huge disappointment considering how accurate most North Face products are. Good quality bag though, just misleading measurements.

Aesthetically it is appealing. Practically the compartmentalization works but additional features could elevate product. Softer lining and better zippers maybe.

It great for everyday use, I initially bought it so I can use it as a cycling bag to carry my spare tires, snacks, etc. but riding with it, the strap doesn't allow for a tighter adjustment and it ended up sliding front. It was uncomfortable to cycle with. However, for daily use none sporting event, it's a great bag, I got A TON of compliments for it.
