I wanted to love these cute sandals! Dansko is a favorite "go to" brand for me, but these felt oddly big in my usual size 36/5.5-6. Funny because I wasn't sure they would be wide enough. They fit my wide width foot but were at least a half size too long. Returning, reluctantly...

I have serious foot problems, bunions, a bump on top of the foot, etc. This shoe is very comfortable and cute on top of it. I can wear this all day even though it has a rather high heel.

I love this wedge. I bought tan first, then black and tomato. Obsessed with the red. So now I added indigo. I wore these to a conference in Seattle where I walked all over the place and up and down steep streets. They felt great!! I am very happy with them. I wear a size 10 and the 40 fits great. I put buckle on third hole, there are five buckle holes. Just the right height for looks and comfort.

Lately, my Dansko clogs were the only shoe that felt comfortable on my feet so I started hunting for a stylish sandal with Dansko comfort and honestly did not expect to find a stylish Dansko sandal! Based on reviews, I ordered my clog size (37) and a 36; it is the 36 that fits lengthwise and is still roomy enough for my wide feet (and a developing bunion). I was concerned that the 3" heel would be too high for me, but that has not been a problem and I feel very stable/secure walking around. Seriously, the Charlotte is an answer to my style/comfort prayers - I only hope Dansko will release it in more neutral colors (esp. navy or a more neutral tan) soon!

Really cute shoe and comfortable. I ordered a 38 - my standard European size and what I typically wear in a Dansko - and they were HUGE. Returned for a 37 and they fit great. The buckle is a little difficult to work with, but perhaps it will get easier over time. Either way, a great sandel.

I love these shoes and thus was so disappointed to send them back. The color is beautiful but the toe box was huge. I had an extra 1/8" around the entire foot area. To make them work I had to crank down the ankle strap, but still they flopped on my feet. I would have had to pad the inside of the foot box with an extravagant amount of moleskin or filler. I am a size 9, ordered a 39. Most all my shoes are Danskos so I know this is my true size. Not sure if I should try again with the same size. So disappointed given my past success with Dansko and my love for this style.

The overall fit was okay with a slightly wider foot bed. Super cute and stylish! Very comfortable too!

Another great Dansko shoe even for someone like me who is not young and has problem feet. Arch support is excellent (I have high arches and metatarsal issues). Shoe base is very stable despite graceful appearance. Toe bed, though not adjustable is perfect depth and width. I rarely find a heel I can wear at all. Will be buying these in other colors. I did go down from my regular size 40 to a 39 in these. I live in Finn Comfort sandals and Alegria Paloma flats but am so happy to have a higher heel I can wear.

What can I say about Dansko? Everything good! This is an excellent brand and every other shoe you’ve seen that looks like Dansko is inferior. Remember you get what you pay for. Similar in quality to Birkenstock, I have Dansko shoes over 15 years old. You just have to love them and care for the leather and soles. Okay, back to this particular sandal. It’s fabulous. I’m 5’10” and am always looking for classic heeled sandals. These really fit the bill. Other wedges have that teeny heel; you’ll fall over with one wrong step! Although not chunky, it is supportive. And you can walk with class. How many women with heels have you seen walking like they were trudging through a cow manure pasture and you can see the pain on their faces? Nope, not with Dansko! As with my countless mules, sandals and heels - no break in period, ultra comfy and classic looking. They’ll look this year, next year and years to come. They are simple and just elegant. Jeans or dress. And if you know me, I’m the one with the big East German wide feet. So, these are for me. ??

I ordered this and the Dansco Carla. The Carla fir my foot better so that is the one I will keep. The Charlotte has to go back. Thanks Zappos

Danskos are a little wide in the toe for me, but these work! They re a great style, almost look like heels, and I could wear them for a whole day!! Very nice! I have very bad foot and knee problems and there are very few shoes I can wear that suit my style, so I am ordering a second pair!

I don't typically wear heels, but these are my second pair of heeled Danskos and I really like them. I've been suffering from plantar fasciitis in one of my feet recently and these are actually more comfortable than most of my other shoes. They did seem a bit long at first but I really had to tighten the ankle strap as far as it could go because I knew a half size smaller would be too small.

I love this wedge. I wear a size 10 and the 40 fits perfectly. Very comfortable to walk in. Get compliments all the time. I wore them to a conference in Seattle and walked all around the steep streets and they handled it well. I now own these in four colors. I’m super picky too and usually choose comfort over fashion - I finally got Comfort and fashion. Yay

Really cute sandal! Got lots of compliments on them and they dress up a casual outfit. Very comfortable to walk in all day, although the straps cut into my feet just a tiny bit, but it's not unbearable and do not damage my feet. Overall, I'm really happy with the purchase, and the gold color is lovely.

I love this sandal. The colors aren't my favorites. They are really red, really blue and really gold - a bit darker and richer than the photos appear. They, as most Dansko shoes are, really well made. They are super comfortable. This is important for me. I spend many hours on my feet and have a bunion, which they cover very nicely. Just debating whether they are toooo gold. Not too shiny, just golder than I was looking for.

I have problematic feet and an aversion to uncomfortable shoes, so I am a very loyal Dansko fan. I look to Dansko especially for sandals, when I want decent looking options that can go the distance in hotter weather. I was looking for some cute sandals with a bit of height that would work well for a summer wedding, and these will do the trick, for dancing as well. They are fun as well as supportive, and I know I will be able to dress them up or down as needed all summer. I bought a size smaller than I usually wear for Dankso based on reviews and they work very well.

The sandals are lovely, comfortable, and feel well-constructed, yet they do not fit my feet. The back ankle strap is too loose, allowing my heel to hang off the back of the sandal. Sadly, I must return the sandals.

These shoes are super cute in person! I have wide feet & need good arch support & these fit the bill. I can’t wait for warmer weather so that I can wear them!

They are comfortable!

Not as cushiony as some Dansko sandals, but fairly comfortable for a “dressier” shoe! By the end of my first day wearing them, i had some sore spots, but I’m not too worried because they seem like they’ll break in. Nice wide toe box, didn’t cut into me at all.

Pretty cute for a comfort shoe and the materials feel quality, but the shape of the toe box smooshes my big toe in towards the middle (the point is not over the big toe, as it appears in photos, but over the 2nd or middle toe). This makes the bone at the base of my big toe ache within a minute of putting them on. Maybe that's just me. Also, the indigo is darker and more purple-blue than it appears on my screen.

These are great! I'm a Dansko loyalist and value comfort and support in a shoe. Dansko sandals in particular are my favorites because they provide both, wear well, and look pretty stylish as well. I bought these a half size smaller than my typical size and they fit very well, and allowed me to dance for hours in them without discomfort!

I initially wrote a review on these saying I did not like the leather or the ankle style, but I must have been in a bad mood, because after a good night's sleep, I tried them on with some clothes and find I like them and I will be keeping them. They make my foot look small, which is saying something when you wear Danskos. The leather is quality and the trim on the heel is very nice. The ankle strap took some getting used to, but I see that it is a little retro-50's ankle wrap look, and I like it. They are very comfortable.
