I love Danskos and other comfortable shoes (Chaco, Birkenstock, Born) and get a lot of wear out of my Dansko clogs and ankle boots, so I thought I'd try Dansko sandals. I'm a US size 7-7.5 and have Danskos in a 37 (clogs) and 38 (boots, worn with socks), so I purchased these in a 37. I'll note that I have very slim, bony feet, with narrow heels/ankles, a wider toe box, and short toes (a combo that makes ballet flats or other shoe styles that aren't secured at the ankle very difficult to fit without crunched toes or heel slippage). Walking around the house, I find these shoes very comfortable and they don't slide around on my feet. As someone who loves the look of "chunkier" shoes with block heels and wide straps, I find these shoes to be very cute. A few notes: I ordered the "blue milled nubuck" color, which on Dansko's website and here on Zappos appears to be a bright, summery cobalt blue. It is not. These shoes are more of a summery navy blue - more blue than a classic navy - and not as bright as I expected. This is still a shade of blue I would pair with black, though, so they are not too navy in that respect. "Denim" might be a good color description. The ankle strap and buckle hit right on the ankle bone. I haven't found this to bother me when walking around the house, but if you don't like straps on your ankle bone, these shoes might not work for you. The wide strap across the toes fits well (not too snug) and seems like it wouldn't rub if my feet swell or get sweaty in the heat. Now we just need some warm weather so I can wear these outside!

I’m in love with these shoes! I work part time in retail and my shifts can mean 7-8 hours on my feet. I was able to wear these right out of the box for a full shift and every single time I wear them I get compliments. I’m 30 and didn’t want to wear a true “comfort shoe-“ looking sandal and I’m so glad I found these. They exceed expectations! Oh - and I typically wear a 42 in Dansko booties (like the Maria or Henley) and I got a 41 in these per the Zappos fit recommender and they’re perfect. I also have wide feet and these fit with only a teeeeeny but of pressure on my left foot because it’s a half size bigger than my right.

Love them! Such a splurge, so worth it. Comfy meets sleek. Does not feel too much like a high heel; it has a slightly more inclined-heel feel than the Dansko Lolita or Manda or Professional clogs, but less inclined than Dansko Joanie or Jacinda. Much more stable-feeling than Dansko Georgie. Does not pinch my wide toe-span. Super soft leather. Footbed is lined with leather, not suede--a real advantage for those of us whose feet sweat (the leather doesn't get smelly). Does not make ankles look thick. Does not make feet look big in size 40. Works with wide-leg pants, skinny pants, capris, dresses, skirts of any length. The brown sandals look fine against my pasty-pale skin. They don't feel quite right or comfy enough for playing outside with my kids--that would be the Dansko Lolitas or Manda or Chaco sandals. But comfy enough to chase kids in a pinch while out to dinner, and definitely comfy enough to walk to bus stop--even in my arthritic elder runner's feet. I usually wear 40 or 41 in Danskos and the 40 was definitely better in Minka.

These shoes are the most beautiful match of form and function I've ever seen. They look gorgeous on my feet and I feel certain that I could have walked at least a mile in them. Unfortunately, they are too wide for my narrow feet and there's no cost-effective solution. If you have have normal-width feet, buy these right away!

Super cute sandals! Not as much arch support as my other Dansko sandals. Unfortunately, that is a deal breaker for my high arched, finicky feet. They are going back. Amazing Zappos service, as usual, though. Thank you, Zappos!

I just love these blue shoes. They are comfortable and so cute. The ankle strap mades them very stable. I will be wearing these all spring and summer.

Was looking for a cute sandal to wear for a Europe trip. Based on prior reviews I ordered up, but these are too big for me. I’ll look at some other Dansko. I’ve never had a pair, but during my research they were recommended for comfort.

Love this shoe but I’m returning for a larger size. These are the second pair of Dansko’s I’ve ordered and both we’re a size too small. So order up a size.

Runs big. The strap around the ankle is a little stiff. Not sure how comfortable they would be for walking a lot.

I read reviews that said this style ran large and wide, so I bought a size smaller than my normal Dansko size. Big mistake. I have wide feet, and I should have gone with my normal size.

I have wide feet, and these are the first ever shoes to actually be too wide and boxy across my toes. If the toe strap were adjustable, these would be close to perfect, but they're impossible to wear like this.

Great style and comfort but squeeks!

These are beautiful. However, I noticed there were a few water spots on one of the straps, as if they had been returned before. I tried them on and wore them from my kitchen to my bedroom and back again. The leather covering my toes was not comfortable for me. It was rubbing in an uncomfortable way. I just knew that walking in them long term would create pain. So I am returning them.

I don't normally write reviews but these are the most comfortable sandals I've ever had. I agonized over buying them and ended up wearing them every day for about 7 months straight. I get so many compliments - literally people stopping me in the street or parking lot. They are so comfortable and classy. I highly recommend.

I have always been a 38 in any Dansko shoe but I now have had to go down to a 37 despite still wearing a 7.5 in all other brands.

My feet are sensitive and comfortable shoes are hard to find. So far these shoes fit the bill. They have great cushioning and the straps are perfect for me. My tootsies seem happy and that matters a lot. I was surprised that I took a bit smaller size than I would have thought. Typically I have to go up a size because my feet are wide. Not so here. I highly recommend!

These are so comfy and cute! I love Dansko's. I have a very narrow heel and the ankle strap stabilizes the shoe for me. Oh and ankle strap.. is super comfy (not tight or annoying). Someone mentioned they squeak... not my pair. They are of very high quality. I wore them with cropped pants one day and a little black dress the next... sooo versatile.

So cute and so comfy! I’m short and always worry about shoes that buckle around the ankle, but these are very flattering.

I love these! I have had ongoing issues with plantar fasciitis and have had to change what kind of shoes I wear. These are supportive yet super cute as well. I get compliments on them every time I wear them. High quality.

These shoes run true to size. I wear an 8.5-9 and the 39 fit beautifully. However, they do squeak when walking and the footbed sticks to my foot so there is a thush, thush, thush, sound. For me, it drives me crazy so I am returning the shoes.

I got through a ten-hour day of teaching and attending events just fine on these shoes! Super comfortable and a classy-looking sandal. The arch support could be a bit higher, though.
