I'd categorize these as very good-looking, somewhat uncomfortable, poorly designed water shoes. They're lightweight. And they do drain water pretty well. But considering they are designed to be worn without socks, it's as if nobody at the Adidas-testing Dept. bothered to actually put a pair on. Very scratchy and uncomfortable on the inside. The material is kind of rough and you can feel all the seams and stitching. Just not a shoe you're happy to put on.

This is possibly the most uncomfortable shoe I've ever owned. The style is great, but everything else is not good. The shoe is lightweight, which is nice, but the sole is hard and the way the laces are strung, the front of the shoe squeezes your toes such that it causes discomfort, then pain, then blisters, and it gets worse with every step. I love the look, but it's not worth it.

I live on an Island. I paddleboard a few times weekly. I go kayaking, and I am on and off boats, and in and out of the water all summer. I LOVE THESE SHOES. There's a lot of complaints in the comments; I'm telling you: these are a paragon of improvement over wearing "boat shoes" aka shoes that are just expensive and wet, and way more comfortable than wearing reef walkers, or dive / toe boots by virtue of not being neoprene. TRUE: They have a texture to the insole for draining, but so do all properly draining shoes which are actually pretty few and far between. They are super grippy on wet surfaces, and dry pretty quickly. More importantly, they clean easy! I rubbed the white ones all over the inside of a somewhat untidy kayak on a six hour paddle, and thought I'd just have green toes on my shoes, and serves me right . NOOOOOPE! Literally came right off. The kayak was stained for good, but the shoes are as shiny as the day I got them out of the box. I've tread through low tide mud, and sand, and grass, the shoes came clean. I rinse them off, maybe use some soap, and they are ready to go in the morning. They do not insulate, but that's the point. And, I can wear them into town, and they just look like a pair of adidas. WIN - WIN.

I am now on my 5th pair of these - the first 4 were all the first generation Climacool Boat Shoe, the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Those Climacool Boat Shoes were a bit different than this Terrex CC Boat Shoe. The Terrex has a semi-rigid tongue, stronger fabric at the heel, and a more durable sole. Essentially the same shoe, with all the air flow and drip dry properties of the originals, but stronger. One small issue - the Terrex definitely feels narrower across the balls of my feet, where the laces loop through the reinforced straps you can see. I am hoping they will stretch over time, despite being reinforced at that spot. I have normal width feet, so just be aware that these may require a bit more stretching than usual.

I really like these shoes. I had an older pair of Adidas boat shoes that were more comfortable, but these are still nice. They run a size smaller than most other shoes, and I think that certain feet might be uncomfortable in the toe area. Doesn’t really bother me, but I can feel that difference. I wear them all summer long. Easy to keep looking good because you can toss them in the washing machine.

I liked the shoe but the height of the toe area is very low and was uncomfortable to wear as it pressed on the big toe.

Great looking and feeling shoe. I've always been a 12-1/2, but sometimes find 12s work or 13s work. Theses shoes were spot on which I like.

I am female and I purchased the men's shoe because I like the look better. The women's version looks frumpy. Love this water shoe.

Perfect water shoes for sailing. Also met my teen son’s style requirements. Ordered 1/2 size up based on recs and they were perfect.

Nice and cool in the summertime. Feels half a size small.

What a neat looking pair of shoes... Too bad they are smaller then marked and most certainly are narrow. My feet are big, 15’s, but not very wide and these suckers would have made phenomenal blisters in the toe box area. What a bummer.

These are amazing to use as water shoes or boat shoes. Highly recommend although it seems like adidas doesn’t make these anymore as they’re very hard to find.
