I discovered Teva Sandals about a year ago and I'm hooked on Teva! These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. This winter, I'm wearing them with wool socks as long as it's not wet outside. The Hurricane 4 is slightly more comfortable then the newer Hurricane XLT2. (I have both) The only real difference is the sole where the Hurricane 4 just fits my foot better and has a better texture. With this type of shoe, getting the straps the right length makes a big difference. Your feet will thank you and hopefully you will be hooked too.

replaced 20 year old originals . perfectly acceptable but like many things not as good as the original.

I purchased these after my Teva Original Universals started to fall apart (after 6 years). I was hesitant to switch to a different model but I'm very glad I made the leap. These are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned, sandal or otherwise. In my fist 3 days with these I walked 12+ miles in an urban environment and hit a dance floor for about an hour. The sandals never lost comfort or support. Be warned though, these run quite large. I am a size 11 and I ordered a size 10. I did the same with the Original Universal and the fit was perfect. These however still feel slightly large even when downsizing and adjusting all the straps. That being said, this is more of an aesthetic issue, as the sandal is still incredibly comfortable and not at all cumbersome. All in all one of the best shoes I've ever worn. Just be sure to go a size smaller.

love them!! I wanted something i could walk in a few miles daily with or without socks. They do the job! My feet feel wonderful! And they look great!! I am a woman with size 12 feet- but the men's 10 fits just right. They look better and walk better than my Birkenstocks and have more support than my Crocs.

This is my 2nd pair of Teva "water-sandals". My last pair lasted me about 11 years. Teva quality and fit is Excellent+++++ Style-wise they are not exactly high-fashion but I value 'function' over 'form' in shoes made for this purpose. The Velcro® straps are perfectly placed and overall the shoe is well designed and manufactured using quality materials which will likely last for years depending on how much action and abuse they see.

This is my go to sandal for the summer. Very comfortable.

Compared to other Tevas I have owned, they felt flat - no arches and was not crazy about the style - I wound up returning them

I am disappointed with these sandals. I have worn Tevas for over 25 years, and the materials these are made of are substandard. I know these are supposed to be made from reclaimed matetials, but when the sole starts rubbing off (see picture), these won't last long, and i will have to throw them away, creating more of a refuse problem than the solved. With the way these are wearing, I guess I'm going to have to switch to Chacos when these wear out in a year or two.

Teva are great! I put a lot of walking miles on them in the summer and they are holding up wonderfully.

Super comfortable. They will be great for vacation.

Only been wearing them for 2 days now but seems to be good. Definitely size down!

Got these for my husband to replace the exact same pair he wore for ten years. These look like they will be as comfortable and long lasting as his first pair.

Love them! Just a little rubbing on top of my little toe on long walks without socks. Overall much more comfortable for long walks than Berks, or Crocs.

Great everyday shoes

Good fit as I went to the smaller size — I am usually 1/2 or in between. Switched back from Chaco that always felt heavy and rubbed me wrong. These feel more comfortable and lighter. Glad I switched. As always, great Zappos service.

The shoes were uneven and one rubbed strange against my foot.

I wear 12 D, and the size 12 Hurricane 4 fit me perfectly. They do have arch support, but not much.

Great shoe, my husband used these for kayaking. They were narrower than the Chacos we also tried.

Had to get a new pair after my prior pair, which I’d had for 10 years, got ruined left out in the scorching sun. These are excellent. After adjusting all the straps, which is key, they fit/feel great. Love them for things like rafting, kayaking, or anything that may involve both land and water. Highly recommended.

I purchased these to replace a similar pair I'd had for some time! I loved the old ones so much I carefully found these to replace them. I'm even wearing the old ones for yard work, so you know they are quality sandals! They are attractive, long lasting, and very comfortable!

I've been wearing Teva's for 30 years. My feet are permanently tanned with a "Teva Tan". Usually, I buy my Tevas direct, but Zappos had the best price I was able to find.
