I love Dr Martens, and was eager to try out the Sinclair style because I love the floral canvas more than the leather styles. Though most Docs run half a size too large for me, I found this style was a full size too big. On top of that, the heel is much heavier than my usual Pascal Docs, and the combination of too big + clunky heel meant I had to return them. The zipper style was unusual, but that part is actually removable with a full tongue underneath, and then you can lace up like a normal boot if you wanted. I can't really recommend this boot style based on the chunky, heavy heel, which doesn't have the bounce of the typical AirWair found in Dr Martens boots. BUT, the fabric is lovely, so I hope to find the same floral canvas in a lighter boot style like Newton (sadly, Zappos does not sell that particular style in floral).
