My feet are a 6 wide and I normally wear a UK 5/ US 7 in Docs' close-toed shoes. I ordered these in a 6 thinking they would be adjustable, but that middle strap isn't. The length is great, but they were really tight at first thanks to that strap and I had trouble getting them on. The leather is stretching though and I think they'll be fine. They are super clunky and REALLY heavy (my leg day shoes!) but I knew that going in. I'm going to bring back the 90's one pair of shoes at a time! The only thing I don't love is that the leather goes a little too far over my toes. Since I'm still breaking that tight strap in, sometimes my toes don't go far enough forward and you can't even see them under the leather flap. It looks a little weird but feels fine.

I recommend going a size down on these. I love them but I had to exchange them after 2 months because the heel strap buckle broke. I haven’t seen this in other reviews so I’m hoping it’s a fluke and won’t happen again with the new exchanged pair.

My new Dr. Martens Ariel sandals fit and look great. I was a little uncertain about purchasing, fearing these sandals would appear too bulky on my feet. In reality, this is not the case. Dr. Martens does not disappoint!

These are really sharp, very heavy, and kind of hurt my ankle with the buckle. I do really love the style though and wish I could keep them. I'll try them out again tomorrow and see what happens! They are super cool! VERY CHUNKY. Great sole!

True to size and width. However, I had to remove the "bib" given my high instep. Even so, I still love the look of sandal without the bib!

I love the style. I can slip them on easily and I wear them every day, whether I dress up or casually. The one downsize is that the inner leather piece curls under when putting the shoes on. It’s uncomfortable and difficult to straighten out. I’ll try the other reviewer’s suggestion of taking out this piece.

I was delighted when the DMs customer service person told me you could remove the "bib" from this and wear it as a three-strap sandal. Unfortunately I couldn't get my foot in because the fixed strap is far too tight and small. Had to return them. This has also stopped me buying any of the other Doc sandals like Blaire or Geraldo or Clarissa, because they probably all have the same problem.
