I have never written a review before and have been shopping with Zappos for years. I have an old pair of Chacos sandals and these blow them away. They are so comfortable and look great! True to size.

These shoes fit true to size and provide excellent support. However, I will say that I considered sending them back the first week I had them because I did not know that they had to be "broken in". The first several days I wore them they rubbed my feet uncomfortably near the right side of my heel. I almost returned them for this reason until my sister informed me that, "I needed to wear them around the house with socks on for a couple of days while they 'form to my feet' and 'get broken in'". Sure enough, it's been about 6 days and now I am wearing them all day with no socks and they feel great. Just be sure to wear socks with them the first couple of days. Thanks, Zappos!

I love the fact that you can adjust the straps how ever works for your feet (in my case I love it much more because my right foot is significantly wider then left!). I love that the sole is so strong you can actually hike in them (how awesome?!!) And I love that they actually look nice for “regular” sandals, so I can wear them with everyday dresses or any other type of everyday clothes. They are just great!

I bought these for myself and absolutely love them! The way the straps easily adjust makes it a custom fit. Easy on/off, too because of the sliding buckle design. Super comfort and arch support! Was going to buy this same pair for my sister but immediately cancelled the order because the delivery time was 7+ weeks out and summer is mostly over by then. So sad ?

Read the Instructions! People are writing to say they can't get their foot in them. They come with instructions on how to adjust the straps. Adjust the straps! They will feel amazing. Normally wear a 7. Bought a 7. Adjusted the straps after reading the instructions. They fit and feel amazing! First pair of Chacos and I love them.

Bought these based on a recommendation from my podiatrist due to my fallen arches. I absolutely love them. They are my go to summer shoe. I have trouble figuring out what size to buy online, I can sometimes be a wide or anywhere from a 9 to a 10. This is because I also have bunions from working on my feet constantly for about 30 years. The 9 fit perfectly.

Once I found the correct fit by going down a half size these shoes are awesome. They are adjustable with arch support, comfortable, and secure around your ankle. Good quality and attractive style, too. Thank you Zappos for such great customer service!

Bought the Moon Star pattern, which is on black straps. Really cool/edgy looking. True to size, and consistent with my other ring toe Chacos. Great quality, as usual.

I love the support of the footbed but my foot is too wide for the strap. I wish both straps were adjustable because they are so cute or if I am wishing for things maybe my feet could be less wide.

These shoes felt great right out of the box! The wider strap is so soft and comfy! The bright colors are very cheery. They will go with anything. Can’t wait for warmer weather! I think these will be my daily shoe. I need supportive shoes. These sandals are just right!

Love these sandals! They fit my foot perfectly and the arch support is wonderful. The straps support just the right areas of the foot, and self-adjust for a great individual fit. A definite keeper!

I bought these in the Navy Blazer color, but returned them because of a defect in the stitching and gluing on one of the heel risers. Because this was the only pair in my size left, I had to get them elsewhere. As always, returning them to Zappos was easy. I think the mega style with the cloud sole is the most comfortable Chaco sandal to date. I have a few pairs, but the webbing on the Megas is much softer than the standard webbing. A Chaco rep told me they plan to move to this soft webbing for all styles in future, so great news going forward. I had begun to think the Cloud sole made no difference until I wore an old pair of classics and realized just how much more cushioned the Cloud sole is. I think the Mega band provides an even more secure fit than the regular webbing, and look forward to seeing more colors--and basic black--in the next season.

Got these in the Blazer Navy. The wide red straps and dark navy look awesome, it's almost black, which I like. The Z Cloud footbed is awesome with the same great arch support. I used to have to size up to 10 in Chacos (i'm roughly a 9 1/2), but I think they redesigned their footbeds slightly a couple years ago, and can now wear a 9 without all this extra shoe sticking out under my toes. Walked extensively with no issues first day out of the box. Win.

I have been a Chaco girl for over 20 years. This is my first pair of Mega and I am sold! The new wide straps are so much softer than the regular straps. And, the foot bed is soft and comfortable. They are worth every cent and I can’t wait to see how the sole holds up. (I am normally a terrano sole person.)

I just LOVE these! My 3rd pair of Chacos over the last 20+ years. My first had the toe loop, and might've been the best sandals I'd ever worn. I wore them for many summers, until the soles crumbled. I wear them hiking, in the water, walking around, to work - almost everywhere. Got another pair, some years later, and they just never fit right. The straps wouldn't adjust after a while, and the toe loop cut into my big toe and gave me blisters. Still couldn't ever forget my first, best experience with Chaco so when I found these, with the wider straps, I was intrigued. Skipped the toe loop. The straps are very soft, so if you're like me and have weird feet that tend to give you blisters, these are a good choice because the material is forgiving. Love the black and white pattern, too.

Love the mega straps!!!! These feel secure on my feet without that infernal toe loop. It’s likely that I will only purchase mega strap Chaco from this day forward. Looking forward to zillions more color choices in the years to come. Cloud footbed is amazing as well. I wear these everyday now and my other sandals are pouting on my closet floor.

Love these Chacos! But, once again, the heal portion of the shoe (where the strap comes up) is too narrow for my feet. I tried the next size up, but they're too big. Sadly, I have to return these.

These sandals are fully adjustable - all of the straps. The reviewers who say they are not adjustable are not adjusting them properly. The shoes should come with an instruction card on how to adjust, or you can go to the Chaco website. I have narrow feet, and I can adjust the sandals for a secure fit - there is no gaping like some of the reviewers' pictures show. I think Chacos run large - I have size 11 feet, but I wear a size 10 in Chacos. Love the soft footbed of this style, and the wide straps. I sometimes wear moleskin on outside of big toes, which can get irritated if sand gets in between strap and toe. I'm giving 4 stars only because I have tricky feet and I've never worn a pair of sandals that is as comfortable as my running shoes.

Super cute colors and wide straps, but could barely get my wide feet into them. Definitely made for narrow feet! I wish they came in a wider style.

I gave the shoe 4 stars based on what it should be, not what I received because I don't want to have people think these are bad shoes just because I got a bad batch. I bought the Bracken Evergreen version of this shoe. I was excited to receive it because I really want a sandal that I can take walks in since tennis shoes get too hot in summer. Unfortunately, I was not pleased with the quality on either shoe - and for opposite reasons. I have older Chacos, so I know how the straps are supposed to work, and because you receive a pair that the straps are too tight to put your foot in does not necessarily mean they are bad, but that you maybe need to read the directions (newbies) and do some serious pulling on the straps to get them to where you want them to be. That wasn't the case here. The strap on the right foot is too tight, and very likely adhered inside the shoe. Recognizing that I am not the strongest, I took my shoe to my husband who lifts weights, and he couldn't make it budge. So the right shoe is a total dud. The left shoe, on the other hand, the straps move, but almost too freely. There is a sweet spot with these straps where they are tight enough that they don't move when you are walking, but not so tight that you can't use some muscle power and pull the straps a bit to adjust them. Neither of these shoes satisfied that criteria, but the shoe for the right foot is too restrictive and impossible to use. I'm going to return them (and hope Zappos throws them out so no one else gets them!), and try again - but in a different color in case, hopefully, it was just that batch. In general, I like Chacos, so my fingers are crossed that the next pair are better! Oh, and I did put my foot in the left shoe and do a quick walk inside the house (wearing a tennis shoe on the other foot) to get a feel for the shoe to give a little more feedback for anyone interested. I wear a 10.5 in Brooks sneakers, and my foot width is regular, not too narrow or wide. I ordered an 11 in this shoe. I had plenty of room in the length, and the width as well. I think I could also wear a 10 in this shoe and not have it too tight. If I was going to be on trails, however, I might wear the 11 to have that extra little bit of room as a buffer zone to keep my toes safe from rocks and sticks. The shoe seems to have good arch support, but I'd need to be able to really walk in them to give a better assessment. Arch support in sandals, however, is always greatly appreciated. However, the shoe also felt quite flat with very little lift to the heels. This is something I need to consider because my knees are happier with a bit more lift there. Hope that ramble was helpful to anyone considering this shoe. :)

Once you know your Chaco's size, then the sizing seems to be consistent. In the Chaco sandals, I wear a size 9. My regular size in sneakers and walking shoes is a 10. These sandals have a softer foot bed, than my Chaco classic Z sandal. I like the softer foot bed much better. I am still in the breaking in period with the sandals, and I am hoping that once I have them broken in they will be more comfortable. The straps on the sandals are soft, and do not cut into my feet, which is a problem I have had with other brands of sandals. I generally am on the upper side of a medium width, though some brands of shoes I need to order a wide width. These Chaco sandals are wide enough for my foot. I have a neutral arch, and these fit fine. With my first pair of Z sandals, which I ordered through Zappos one or two years ago, I wasn't sure if the sandals were too long or whether the next size down would be too short. I called Chaco's customer service, and they asked me to take pictures of the sandals on my feet, and send the pictures to them. I was told that I needed to go down a size, and this is how I found the correct size for Chaco sandals. I would call the arch support slightly above moderate, albeit it the best arch support I have found in any of the myriad sandals I have tried. The latter have all been returned. For those reviewers that say they cannot get their feet into the straps, and have sent the sandals back, the straps are adjustable. There should be a card in the box, with the sandals, that tell you how to adjust the straps. If the card is lacking, look on the Chaco's website for instructions as to how to adjust the straps on all of the Chaco sandals in the Z line. Zappos, it might pay to have the strap adjustment information in a video or somewhere on your website. This might save some returns on these sandals for the straps being too tight to get one's foot into them to try on.

I love the mega straps. They give more upper support to my foot than the thinner ones. This is my first pair of Cloud sandals. I have the Z1 Classic, which I love and are still going strong after 10 yrs of hard use. I have a very high arch and the Cloud, unfortunately, doesn't provide the same arch support as the Z1 Classic. I'm looking for a women's Mega Z1 Classic but haven't found it yet in size 10. I will probably send these back because of the softer footbed.

Love my newest chaco sandals. They are comfy, stylish, and will work perfectly for me to walk through the streets of Portugal this summer! I will have to get used the larger strap on them so that I don't get a blister but I think once I have they will be my new go-to pair. This is my 2nd pair of chaco sandals. My others are more of a flip-flop style that I've had for about 3-4 years now.

Love the Cloud footbed and soft, wider straps. For me, the heel cup is too narrow. I returned an purchased the Men’s version. Women’s strap choices are better but fit and comfort are important. Hoping Chaco will eventually offer these in Women’s Wide sizing.
