I purchased this boot for trail walking and as protective gear for off road riding in an OHV. I did follow the advice of other reviewers and ordered up one-half size and in wide. This seems to be the perfect fit that will allow for heavy winter socks. The boot itself is very feminine with the pink collar. It's not bulky and looks good when worn casual with a pair of jeans. The instep is very comfortable, but I have not yet used for a long hike. So far, very happy with my purchase.

My husband has worn Timberland boots for years for the comfort and durability. I finally purchased a pair for myself and am so glad I did. They are extremely comfortable and fit me true to size. I have a slightly narrow foot, but these fit perfectly.

I shopped for a long time and finally decided to order these and I'm so glad I did!! So easy to break in, super lightweight but so well made. I usually order an eleven in running shoes but stuck with my normal shoe size in a ten and I'm glad I did - perfect fit.

These boots are awesome! They are very comfortable, light and great for hiking. They have amazing support and cushion. The first time I wore them I went hiking to Tallulah Falls in GA. I didn't have any issues and I didn't even have to work on breaking them. My feet stayed dry.. not hot not cool. The next day my feet were just fine.. not sore at all. I usually wear 7.5 but I ordered 8 to have more room for socks in the winter. They fit perfect. Not sure why I waited so long to get a good pair of Timberlands.

Awesome boots! They are very comfortable and great for hiking! I wear them all the time even when I'm not hiking. I love them so much and recommended them to my hiking buddy who is ordering her own pair!

I have narrow feet so the reviews that said these were right sounded good to me. I have plenty of room in the toes and to add my favorite insoles to them. I'm just breaking them in now, but they feel lovely. Living in AZ they are quite hot but not uncomfortably so.

The waterproofing is great. A little tight on my toes but wouldn't go any higher in size. They're fine after wearing them about an hour

Like the Looks of the boots, but not waterproof. First time I walked with them, my heavy socks were wet and inner sole were definitly wet. Would not recommend this boot.

It is my first pair of hiking boot I purchased. I bought it a week ago and after I tried it on, it is perfectly fit and so comfortable that is out of my expectation. I was wearing it for a couple hiking on the weekend and my feet doesn't feel sore or hurt after hours. It is lightweight and don't feel heavy after hours of walking. I am a flat-feet and need solid inside sole support, and this boot certainly made for what I needed. I saw some comments saying that the bottom sole is easily fall apart and I hope it is only occasional case because I found that the workmanship and material of this boot is above quality. Honestly, it is definitely worth for what I paid for. And I am looking for another pair of snow boot from this brand because I found that Timberland's quality and design really worth the money I spent!!!

Best hiking boots I've ever bought, super comfortable and supportive. I wear them everyday, I am buying another pair for when these wear out.

I am really pleased with these boots! I own a pair of Timberland Pros for my workboots (I'm a biologist outside on my feet almost everyday) and I was really happy with how comfortable they were, and how well they held up after 2.5 years. I decided to go with Timberland for a pair of hiking boots. I wear 8-8.5 for regular shoes, but typically 8.5 for boots and these fit great. I don't consider myself to have wide feet, and these are comfortable, so if you have truly wider feet you may find these too narrow. The size 8 in fact was just a tiny bit too short on the toe, but the real problem was how narrow they were. I was able to do some long distance hiking with minimal "wear in" time.

These required no breaking in - they were comfortable from the very beginning. I’ve been hiking in them for a couple of months and they’ve held up so well!

Of all the hiking boots I tried on, the Timberlands felt the best fit for my more narrow foot. I liked that it the boot felt lightweight and stylish versus more clunky and wide like a few other ones I tried on. The leather felt durable and I'm hoping it will hold up to the waterproof claim - looking forward to trying it out.

Loved the style & quality of this boot but only drawback with Tinberland is they seem to run on the narrow side unfortunately. Otherwise I would not have returned it.

I have had good luck with Timberland brand in the past and was looking forward to wearing these. I usually wear a 6.5 M width, but unfortunately they were too tight. I exchanged for a 7M and they were again too tight. It must be the style. Sizing up again would make the length entirely too long, so I’m going to have to return them. The insole is not as soft as other reviews have described.

Fairly comfortable, maybe slightly tight and stiff but loosening up as I wear them. I like that they blend in with my normal daily outfits, and aren’t too bulky or full of eye-catching details. Definitely waterproof. Maybe I should have gone up half a size, but only time will tell at this point.

Looked at a lot of hiking boots and reviews before buying these. I really like the look and style of these compared to many others. First ordered in my usual size (9.5) as I don’t like to wear thick socks ever. Did a short treadmill walk and those were definitely too small and tight. Exchanged for half size up (to 10). The half size up is better, but still feels snug in a couple side spots. Not exactly painful, but not great. Seems narrow in the widest part of my foot. I think I’ll keep them but am iffy as to whether they’ll prove comfortable for a truly long hike. They are well made and the bottoms are good and solid for hiking.

I had a pair of hiking boots years ago and loved them. Recently I started looking for a hiking boots that can fit my orthotics. Tough time finding ones but remembering timberland & how much they stand behind their product- love them!

Bought it a week before my hiking trip and I wore it around the house to break it in. I'm typically a size but I ordered 6 wide to prevent any blisters. It was comfortable with socks, my feet were kept dry throughout the wet and slippery hike. I did however feel blisters forming after 11miles of hiking.

I read many reviews while worrying these boots would be too tight. However I really needed hiking boots and got them anyhow. I also had a ten percent coupon I needed to use before the year’s end. Apparently I have narrow feet because the width was fine. I am in between 6.5 and 7. These boots kick up in the back when I wear thin socks so I’ll need to wear thick hiking socks for these. I love how the red and leather go together, but the actual shape of the boots when my feet are inside of them don’t look super flattering.

It is a beautiful product, but I was shipped an entirely different color than what I ordered. In fact, the color I received was not even listed as a color combo. I ordered the Brown Full-Grain color with light blue inside and received a dark brown/purple combo (see attached photo). The boot I received is very nice, but it would have been nice to see this color combo as an option and receive the color combo I actually ordered.
