I am a nurse and I bought these shoes for work. I was reluctant because I have never bought shoes without trying on first. I've had other Merrels and love them so I decided to take a chance, and i am so glad I did. They are so comfy and true to size, with no break in period right out of the box. I would recommend these shoes to anyone.

I was a little worried about buying shoes on line since I have a high arch and finding shoes with good support is difficult. These shoes fit perfect with just the right amount of support. No "breaking in" period was needed. I would buy these shoes again in a heartbeat.

Great shoe. Comfortable from the minute I put it on. I look forward to trying it out on the trail. I'll be traveling to Costa Rica next month and these will be ideal for light hiking, ziplining and rappelling. Only criticism is that they ran a little big. When you select your size be sure to picture wearing them with light sock or no socks. You want them to fit like a glove. I can wear anywhere between a 51/2 womens to a 7 and ordered a size 6. A 51/2 would have been perfect. I am very pleased with my purchase and they are well worth every cent.

This shoe is absolutely perfect for walking or hiking daily. I love this shoe so much, that i am ordering my second pair. We walk 3 or more miles a day and my feet agree completely. Perfect on trails, concrete or the treadmill.

I am a medical professional who works midnights and I run between the ER, office and hospital all night long. I loved these shoes from the moment I put them on, the arch support is perfect and they are so flexible. I would go barefoot if I could but these are the next best thing!

These shoes feel like walking barefoot but more comfortable. Nice wide toe box, enough cushion and grip for the real world. The only downside is socks slip down and sweaty bare feet make them very stinky after a while. The upside is they withstand machine washing well and come out looking like new!

I own a marina and find myself traversing from sand to lake to gravel through out the day. I am also on my feet all day, every day. These shoes are great because they stay cool, are very comfortable, extremely light weight, and they don't allow pebbles in, (the main reason I stopped wearing sandals). They are quick on and off with the laceless cording and the soles have great traction. I have a second pair I keep in my gear bag to throw on after cycling. I have no doubt they would perform well to run in with a thin pair of socks. They are the perfect shoe for me. Pretty color selection too.

This shoe is very comfortable with lots of room in the toe box. It also provides excellent support which was what I was looking for when I bought it as I have rather high arches. I was not sure when I ordered if the shoe would be too loose on my foot because it is made of a knit fabric, but you can actually tighten it enough with the laces to make it feel secure. Very comfortable to walk in as well.

Absolutely love this shoes! Very comfortable. Size was just right. I can walk long time with this shoes and don't get tired. Lastly I received this shoes faster than I was expected, great experience overall. I am big fan of Merrell now! Thank you

After reading review on these, I bought them in a 1/2 size smaller than I usually wear and I am glad I did! While they felt a little too tight on my instep when I first put them on -- I have very high arches and tall insteps -- I wore them around the house for a bit and they quickly stretched to just about perfect. I probably will get rid of the rigid lacing on these, not a fan. It's not easy to work with, but I honestly don't need any lacing because these now fit so that I don't need to tighten the laces at all. I've worn these out and about where I've been walking around all day and they feel amazing. I have the Trail Gloves 4s in the knit and with both I'm wondering how they will hold up against stink and if they will tolerate going through the washer once the stink sets in. I haven't tried these with a sock and I fear these will be too snug with another layer in there, probably so snug they'll cut off my circulation. Despite any quirks with this shoe, I'm still wearing them several days a week they are just that comfy. Great shoe!

Went on a long run right away with these. Felt great, like wearing a sock with enough cushioning underneath. Will definitely be repurchasing.
