I wrote an earlier review about these boots and now must revise my review. These boots are awful. Maybe if you're only going short distances on flat terrain, they'd be OK, but I wore these on a 7-mile out-and-back mountain hike with significant elevation gain and came back with bruised toes and blisters under my toenails. BLISTERS. UNDER. MY. TOENAILS. Every downhill step was agony, and my feet were in pain for days after. This was after having put maybe 15 miles on the boots, so they were reasonably broken in. I've never had that happen with hiking boots before. In addition to providing no padding or protection from the hard toe cap on the inside, these boots do not breathe and leave my feet feeling sweaty and gross, another issue I've never experienced with hiking boots. I wear them with the same cushy hiking socks I've always worn, so I know that's not the issue. Plus, the padding in the midsole is starting to crack and wrinkle. So disappointed. They're really cute, but I've learned my lesson about priorities here. I guess I'm going to have to keep looking like a suburban dad in the outdoors if I want to be comfortable.

These are very cute and stylish, but in my opinion they are more like sneakers than hiking boots. I wore them around my house and I was able to feel the cracks between my kitchen tiles through the soles--so I imagine I would be feeling every rock I stepped on while hiking. I also was able to bend my ankle from side just as much as if I were barefoot--so there is no protection against rolling your ankle. They are very roomy, which means I would have to pull the laces super tight to keep my feet in place (I think I have medium width, if not slightly wide, feet). But the problem with that is, because of the gusseted tongue, when I pulled the laces tight the tongue had nowhere to go and would pop out, making it impossible to lace the boots all the way up. Long story short, these would be cute to wear around the city, but didn't seem supportive or durable enough for a hike.

If you’re a field worker like me (park ranger) these boots won’t last you a full year. I’ve worn down the tread to nothing. They also don’t breath at all so if you get sweaty feet you’ll be feeling that for the entire day.

I go for 5+ mile hikes at least twice a week, and I need sturdy, comfortable boots. I usually hate the design of outdoor products, but these are actually attractive boots, and they hit all the right points for me function wise. I took them out for a short break-in hike after receiving them and they seem great so far, though I wouldn't go so far as to describe them as "marshmallowy" like another reviewer did. They aren't mind-blowingly cushy, but are about as comfortable as one can expect from a boot like this. Overall, they seem like they'll serve their purpose quite well. I am still a little skeptical about suede hiking boots—that seems more like a fashion thing than a functional thing to me. Hopefully they don't end up totally trashed the first time I take them through mud. A note about size—these seem true to size to me, though I ordered a half size up because I wanted to give myself the ability to wear multiple pairs of socks or hike more comfortably with swollen feet if necessary. I did not find them to run small at all. I can wear either a 7.5 or an 8 depending on the brand, and the the 7.5 in these boots fit me just right. For reasons described above, though, I kept the 8.

Wore these for hiking in the Smoky mountains and so far they’ve been great. They didn’t require a lot of breaking in and seemed comfortable right out of the box. They’re not too heavy and provided warmth but weren’t making my feet too hot during the few hours I wore them. I normally wear a 9.5 in shoes but went for the 10 and they fit perfect with a thicker sock.

I bought these last year for my 7-9 mile a day trail walks with my malamute. I have arthritis in my big toes joint, two hip replacements, full spinal fusion so support & balance are crucial. These fit the bill great. I did have to purchase some insoles for extra support. Still well worth the price. The only boots for trails I have that are as good are Orboz & Santana Canada. Both pricier. I don’t ( and wouldn’t wear these in snow or ice) for that I’d recommend the other two. Dry trails, gravel, concrete, etc these are outstanding.
I'd also recommend:
Orbs, Santana Canada, Ecco

Wore this boot on an overnight backpacking trip (10 miles roundtrip) and it was fabulous. I had not broken them in and was worried but had no issues at all. Very comfortable and stylish looking boot. Ordered these originally along with the Mountain Light Cascade by Danner to compare and thought these were way more comfortable AND $200 cheaper!!

I bought these for a trip to Alaska. We were hiking and walking on many different types of terrain. These were super comfy right out of the box. Great looking boot. Very well made. Perfect for our trip! Would definitely buy again.

Boot has nearly zero heel which I like, but toe box is shallow. Would be good for a low volume foot (not mine, sadly!)

Ordered the 9 originally because I always swear a 9 in running shoes and boots. 8.5 in heels. Definitely go down a 1/2 size! 9 was WAY too big, and 8.5 fit just right even with thick socks.

Soles of boots roll my feet inwards as I walk--this changes my gait as I walk, which I don't like. Too bad, they are really cute and I loved the color.

Debated on getting these or the Newton Ridge Columbia hiking boot. The style on this boot is what got my attention, however, for a hiking boot, it offered mediocre support. I ordered a half size larger than my usual size. With thick socks it fit perfectly. I ended up returning them and went for the Columbia boot which offered more stability.

Absolutely love these boots. They are comfortable for even extreme terrain. They are perfect for long or short hikes. I usually get blisters on the pad of my foot but haven’t had any since buying these. Three years later and it’s ALMOST time for a new pair!

love the look of these hiking boots. bought these for hiking in the Swiss Alps this May. Very comfortable. I expect these to last a long time, great quality. I have room for thick hiking socks with these. I ordered a size 9. I usually take a 9, once in a while i take an 8 1/2 in a sneaker or boot. waterproof!

Purchased these for my wife. She wears a 8.5 in Nike’s and the Adrika Hikers initially felt just about a half size too large. The feet swell after some hiking, so these ended up being true to size for her. Overall a great functional and stylish boot!

WOW I really like these hiking boots! I only ordered them to check them out but I'm in the market for submersible, water hiking shoes at the moment, so sadly I can't justify the cost right now. But as soon as a real need arises, I wil seek these out! Hopefully they'll still be around! They're SO comfortable and lightweight--like walking on puffy marshmallows--and they actually look super cute (rare for hiking boots)! WANT. They look great with the red laces but also came with a matching tawny colored set. Loved 'em.

Absolutely beautiful boot. I wore them as slippers the first day knowing that as soon as they went outside that's over. Fantastic leather and construction. I'll wear them every chance I get.

The stitches at the heal are a bit to get used to, but not terrible. The only wedge sole boot I have found that actually works for my wide feet.

These boots offer the perfect balance of being very supportive while also being roomy enough especially in the toe box area, which is very important to me. I was also able to use my insoles for extra arch support.
