Comfy fit. Maybe half a size too small. The black ones hare more like charcoal. The brown boots are probably a bit more versatile in style. The pictures on the site dont have enough contrast. Gore-tex so it's not super breathable but not a swamp. Not too warm. Nice tread for hiking and non-slippage around town. The lower half of the tounge is very soft on the outside. looks like the weakest part. Overall pretty good and comparable to similar Clarks gore-tex boots.

Found the left boot too narrow as a repair shop had to make modification to the shoe. Please don't let this review discourage you from purchasing Danner as their product is excellent. Although, as a boot man, this particular model isn't worthy

I’m a big fan of Danner boots. Except this boot. The toe box seemed smashed down and sort of flat compared to other Danner boots. Just not a comfortable boot.

I absolutely LOVE Danner anything, I thought these would be a good waterproof boot for work and play, possibly small weekend hikes. The shoes are waterproof as stated, and the color is true to the pictures. My biggest problem is that something rubs and makes them squeak when you walk. I tried different laces and had the same issue. Not a big deal when outside, but very unpleasant when walking around the office.

I can't wear these boots for longer than 5 minutes before they become so uncomfortable I have to take them off. I thought they just needed to be broke in, something I never had to do with the 5 other pairs of Danner boots that I've purchased over the years. The fit is fine so I'm truly confused as to why they become unwearable.
