This is a very nice shoe and I would have loved to have kept it. I ordered the 4E because I need lots of room in the toe box due to neuropathy. This shoe had the extra room, both horizontally and in the depth of the toe box and instep, along with a stretchy, forgiving fabric upper that applied no pressure on the forefoot. The sole was great with lots of cushioning. Unfortunately, though I need the extra room in the forefoot, I do not need it in the ankle area. There was so much extra room that there was no support for the ankle. Also, the sides of the ankle area were lower than other similar shoes. The tongue of the shoe could have been a bit longer. The laces were a good length. Thank you, Zappos, for making shopping with you so easy, especially for people with hard to fit feet.

Very comfortable but the heel material started to wear away and disintegrate during the first half hour I worked them on a tread mill. I don't know if this was a defective batch or a problem with al the shoes.

I have wide flat feet that tend to over-pronate and usually take a size 9.5 W but I take a 10W in the PROPET brand. I usually buy the White Stability Walker and they have a bit more gym shoe style than this pair. However, I thought I'd change it up a bit and get these - they looked cute with the black/pink on the inside... I am only using these to workout daily - mostly treadmill. I am glad I did not purchase these to wear outside the house as they are the most ugly athletic shoe I have. The mesh is very orthopedic looking and frumpy looking. I know these are "diabetic" approved but that doesn't mean that everyone with diabetes that needs these shoes is older. With that said, they are very comfortable and have enough support and cushion for my daily treadmill workout which is usually 1 hour. The tounge is very short and you cannot really pull it up much which doesn't really affect the performance of the shoe but it would be helpful if you could pull it up when adjusting and tying the laces. Would I buy this shoe again - likely not - the last pair of White Stability Walkers I was using for workout were worn through so I won't be needing a pair for a long time as I use them up pretty good but I'd definitely buy those again vs. these when it's time.

It seems like an overstatement, but it's true - these shoes have changed my life for the better. I have club feet, and before I bought these shoes I would be in pain after walking one mile, and wake up the next day with my ankle turned in and painful to put weight on. After I got these, I was surprised that I could walk a couple miles and the next day my ankle wouldn't turn in. After wearing these for over a year I now walk at least three miles a day without pain. Also, unlike other orthopedic shoes I've had, these just look like regular sneakers and the black on black style makes them match any casual outfit. I love these and will buy another pair as soon as mine wear out.

Almost kept them, they were so comfortable. One of the few Propets, I think, that come in 10 1/2 N. Perfect size, usually 10 too short & 11 long & nothing in between. My only problem was how wide the sole was in the toe area. Don’t think the pic from above really shows that. Probably what gives them the stability, but made my long narrow feet look kind of duckish for my height. If your feet are more in proportion to your body or you need help with stability, I think these would be a great shoe.

I bought these tennis shoes for my mother, who is an active 88 yr old . She wears size 12 wide, which is nearly impossible to find in a traditional shoe store. These fit perfectly, and are comfortable as well as stylish . She also finds the dark sole to be more versatile with her wardrobe in comparison to other tennis shoes with the white sole.

I really like this shoe, it is extremely comfortable and so light weight. It fit correctly as soon as I put it on. Would buy again. Only slight drawback is it got warm after a few hours, but not bad enough to send back.

This shoe has excellent arch support, indeed, a great walking shoe. The shoes fit very well, enough toe room, very sturdy and the correct size. However, a week in and I got blisters on both feet from the inner heal. I reached out to the maker but have received a response as if yet.

I wear a Richie brace on one foot and an orthotic on the other. Finding shoes that accommodate the brace and aren't hideous is no small task. I figured I'd give these shoes a shot. I had never heard of the brand, but the price was reasonable (check out the price for double wide NB shoes for comparison!) and the black ones with pink were kind of okay looking and not too "orthopedic". These felt a bit tight by the base of the tongue of the shoe when I first put them on - I didn't think they were going to make the cut, but I gave them a couple of minutes and then they were very comfortable. Nice and roomy, seem to be well made (they are new, so check back in 6 months) and I would absolutely consider buying these again, in fact, if the prices are reasonable, I'll replace my "go to" of NB with this brand.

These shoes are pretty comfortable although a bit stiff. Hopefully the stiffness will wear off over time. I've had them for a few weeks. Very roomy in the front of the shoe which I like. I wear a size 6 double wide and have orthotics and various foot issues so have a hard time finding shoes I can wear. I discovered Propet about a year and a half ago and I now wear this brand more than any other kind. Just came back from a 35 minute walk in these shoes and my feet feel good. Thank you Propet!!

I bought these for walking. They feel comfortable during my walk, are light weight and don’t feel hot in the summer heat. I needed the 4x because of recent foot surgery. Was able to adjust width by tying shoe tighter on the other foot.

My favorite brand has gone to a narrow toe box even in their diabetic shoe so was glad I found this one. The problem I'm running into is after wearing them over 8 hrs it like the shoe twistes on my foot don't know if it's from heat of my foot or the mesh fabric. It has happened several times and I don't have that problem with other brands it got to be the shoe. Will keep but only if I know it's only going to be for a few hours.

the heel is quite fat---if you want to be taller these shoes will fit the bill. This particular shoe seems to run pretty true to size

I love that Propet offers extended widths for woman's sneakers, they are so hard to find. I have several pairs similar to this style. These are the only snealers that I am able to wear while exercising, especially taking a long walk on hard surfaces. There is plenty of room to add an orthotic for extra cushioning or arch support. Ample toe box with the wider widths.

I saw these shoes on someone else & asked about the fit & comfort. I was able to put these on and go walking without any problems right away. The toe box is wider than I'm used to finding, but, it fits my toe shape perfectly. The size was just slightly larger than I needed, but the next size smaller would be too small. I can't wear a thin sock; a moderate thick sock is perfect. They were more $$$ than I've paid for shoes in a long time - I think they'll prove to be worth it.

This is a great looking shoe that I wanted to love, but I'm returning it because the toe box felt narrow and the shoe felt 1/2 size smaller than marked.

Finally sneakers that are wider than the standard EW or WW (4E and above) that don't look like Frankenstein's bride should be wearing them. I like that Propet offers extended width sneakers in a variety of colors, not just black and white. They are supportive and great for exercise, walking and shopping. Good shock absorbtion when walking on hard surfaces. I have less pain/discomfort in the feet and knees than with my old sneakers. The only complaint I would have is that I wish for extra cushioining in the forefoot or a rokcer bottom style in the extended width sneaker as well as shoes. Can't seem to find them for women. Propet please make a pretty rocker bottm shoe for women in 4E and above!

I’m a very heavy plus size lady and I’ve been having ankle/leg/back pain from wearing unsupportive shoes. These shoes are perfect for a 10 hour work day. I ordered 11EE size and they fit perfectly. My only complaint about them is the back of the heal tends to crush a little too easy if you put the shoe on wrong. I have to take an extra minute or two to sit down and put them on. I feel like I’ll get about a years worth of wear out of them before I have to order new ones. But I do wear them 5 days a week for up to 12 hours and I’m on my feet all day. The pink is subtle and they go with almost everything. If you’re on the fence about these shoes, just get them. They’re supportive and kinda cute.

Comfortable, substantial, but not heavy, and takes my orthotics. Not the most attractive shoe, but a design that is benign and doesn't call attention to itself, so doesn't much matter. Just what I was looking for.

My 2nd pair of these arrived and fit right out of the box. The length and width are perfect for my aching feet. They could be a little more padded but the stability is so good it's hard to complain. Bought these after I forgot to pack shoes for vacation. These were the only ones I could imagine sightseeing in without a break-in period. Thanks zappos for the great service!

Great looking shoe ....as well as very comfortable! Used my orthotic to increase the arch support. First time I’ve tried Propet shoes and look forward to trying more styles - so great to have options with size 12 AA! Thank you !

not much for arch support or cushion but those can be added if the shoe is big enough and this one is. having this was night and day different from the same size in a different brand that was so tight my toe was jammed after trying to wear them inside for 2 hours of mostly sitting......obviously those ran really small. this are true to size and width or perhaps a bit on the bigger side but you need that to add the cushion insole so they are perfect size after all. as stylish as any black athletic shoe can be with a nice tiny pop of pink.

Fantastic sneakers! I had ankle surgery and these were perfect post boot and great for lots of walking.
