The white is off-white - more ivory than white. Nice looking shoe.

I disagree with the arch support in most of these reviews - it's not great. The soles themselves are very flexible, so if you're coming from a more supportive shoe, there isn't a lot underneath you in the cloudx. Overall, I like the slim design and the laces. I put my own custom inserts in, which makes them a bit snug on top. (I wish more companies would accommodate this). I've use these for HIIT workouts and they transition from floor work to rowing to treadmills quite well. I always tie a heel lock, so no issues with slipping around. Overall, not my favorite shoe, but it gets the job done.

I liked the style of the shoe most, but only want it for walking and it wasn't enough cushion for me.

Seems like they might be great walking shoes, lightweight, nice padding. They definitely run small.

Very comfortable shoe EXCEPT for the tongue. It has a sharp edge and is just long enough that it digs into the front of my ankle every time I move my feet. Unfortunately will have to go back. Going to try On Cloud 2.0 which looks like it has a rounded seem at the tongue edge.

I heard these shoes were comfortable from multiple sources, and they did not disappoint. Very light, but enough cushion to work well for my HITT classes as well as short runs. The only thing I would consider for next time (maybe a size up) is that they tend to run narrow in the toe box, and I typically like a wider toe box. Fortunately, I have adjusted and don't miss my old brand of shoes. I also wish these came with the bungee laces that other OnCloud styles promote. Regardless, I do not regret my purchase!

Although these do feel different from my On cloudsurfer I do like them. The cloud surfer is more bouncy where this shoe is more absorbent in the foot bed. I find both to be comfortable just in different ways. Only complaint is that there is no pull tab on the heels and I did get a blister the first time I wore them for an extended amount of time

These shoes are SO comfortable. I bought the Red/Flash color (which looks more like orange to me) and I don't think I've ever received more complements and questions from others about where I got my shoes. I gave these 4 stars because I bought them in March and the top of the inside backs are starting to fray. For $140 and the fact that I've almost exclusively worn them to work where I sit most of the day and only run in them twice, I expected them to last longer.

I LOVE the look of these, the amazing, springy cushioning, the flexibility, the lightness, and the way the toe box gave my wide forefeet plenty of room without looking weird. They would have been PERFECT, except there's very little cushioning around the ankle, and the ankles come up high. The hard-feeling surface rubbed all around my heel & ankle bone. If they fix that in future models but keep everything else the same, I'll be madly in love. But the ankle issue was uncomfortable enough that I couldn't get them. BTW, I wear a 7.5/8 in street shoes but often wear an 8.5 in athletic shoes, and the 8.5 fit perfectly. I have plantar fasciitis (which doesn't bother me much anymore because of my shoe choices) and like shoes that have a zero or almost-zero drop and are flexible with some cushioning.

Very nice shoe - super lightweight, looks very well-made, has a great toe box made of a very comfortable mesh (I find knit running shoes too stretchy and a lot of the new "e-mesh" too constricting). For me, the problem is in the heel. I have a wide forefoot but a narrow heel. This model foregoes collar cushioning. Also, it's designed with a higher ankle/heel collar than other On models, which rubs uncomfortably for me, but may not be an issue for some.

I ordered a different color of the ON Cloud X, but thought I would like this color combination better. Unfortunately, this pair did not fit comfortably--not sure why, as the other pair is the same size.

Rubbed my ankle bones

Overall, shoes look great, but don’t feel great. Too tight on the top of my foot, and rubs on my ankle bone. Fit was true to size for my 9.5 foot. Sent back

The tongue only goes half way down the shoe. I normally don't have problems with the width of shoes. I consider myself pretty average. But these were tight around the middle of my foot with no way to loosen it. The toe box was great. My heels slid up and down when I walked. It was not a good fit for me - which is too bad because they were super cute.

I really liked the way they looked. However, they felt very hard and stiff. I sent them back and kept the On Swift which I highly recommend if you are looking for shoes to walk in all day long.

I ordered a 6.5 and 7 and since they are fabric, I thought the 7 would be too large and with socks, the 6.5 fit well. The heel is very cushy. The cushion under the ball of the foot isn't great. As some reviewers mentions, the shoe does come up a bit high on to the ankle bone, but it isn't bothersome to me. Some reviewers spoke of the shoes falling apart. The construction *looks* cheap, so only time and use will tell how well they hold up.

Was really happy to find this color on Zappos -- it was sold out on most other retailers. Zappos delivered quickly and so convenient that could use my Amazon login. Love the color and shoe, but bummed about the quality. After a few weeks of light wear the stitching is now coming undone on the tongue. For such expensive shoes, I would expect the shoe to at least hold up after a few wears.

I want to love these, but they're poor quality. The fabric on the tongue started completely unraveling 5-6 wears and they are showing other signs of premature wear as well. It's disappointing because I really like them.

I wanted to love these and many of the other reviewers said they ran small. That was not my experience. I thought the toe box was quite roomy and the sides were high and rubbed my ankle bone. The foot bed was medium supportive and comfortable but I think I’ll need to return them. Gorgeous and stylish colors I wish the fit was spot on!

This is my favorite sneaker brand, but this model dug into my bone that protrudes from the side of my ankle. Had to send them back. Will definitely look for that from now on!

Didn’t like

Gosh- I loved the look of these shoes! I really wanted to keep them- BUT.. they are really narrow across the toes and the toe box is pretty small. They are also like an everyday shoe- like a casual sneaker shoe- not anything to workout in- too flat feeling on the bottom. They would be great to use this way if they didn't hurt my toes and within 15 minutes of standing in them, the bottom of my feet hurt and that was with orthotics in them- so sad. Also- note that the edge of the tongue- is raggedy- distressed - and I'll bet that would fray pretty quickly after putting them on and off a number of times. I have been wearing Cloudflyers everyday for 2+ years and wanted to try a different style. These have to be returned. Still sad- they are so good looking!

Stylish, comfortable, no issues wearing them all day. Just super disappointed that they don't last long. Feel they are poor quality. My Nike runners have been washed several times, endured all kinds of adventures over three years. These shoes have lost their tread, inner lining is dissolving in several areas and now the heel part is digging into my achilles d/t no lining. Bummer, because of the price and comfort.

I got these about 6 months ago, worn about 4 times and I don't get the hype. They are nearly painful on long walks and offer very little support. I love the looks of them but they are not what I was expecting. I know I am the unpopular opinion, but I just don't think they are what everyone makes them out to be.

I like to wear minimalist socks when running. First time running it rubbed my heals so bad both heels bleed...all over my white shoes. It was a mess and took a week to be able to wear shoes with backs. I though it was just a one time thing, tried again same thing. I can wear the shoes if I get thick socks to wear over my heels but it’s not my preferred look. I kept the shoes obviously due to staining damage. I love the look of Ons...maybe a different style would be better.
