If you liked the previous model of On Cloud running shoes, these seem to run smaller and narrower. They are still super light, they just don't fit the same. Maybe go 1/2 size up.

why oh why did On change the materials and design of this great shoe? I wanted to order another... but this is tight, cheap feeling, and unfortunately going back. Sad.

This is my second pair of the exact same shoe in the exact same color. I'm a minimalist and I like comfort. I bought my first in 2017 because we were traveling to Australia and needed ultralight and comfortable shoes. That's when I discovered this brand. My husband also got another men's version with laces, and he takes them on every trip. These shoes for the two of us have gone across the country (East and West coast) and across the world (Australia, Costa Rica, Italy) and are now headed to the Galapagos. We only do carry on luggage, so the shoes I take have to go with a ton of stuff, be lightweight, and comfortable. I found these were great for every day, city wear, and also for light walks/hikes in Uluru. The white did stain a bit from the red sand there... oh well... I still love them and wear them daily. I like that I can slip in and out of these without laces, super efficient when trying to grab bags at security. I do feel they have changed the shoe since 2017 (see below). 2017- I wear an 8 in shoes and 7 in sandals. Fit true to size, 8 were comfortable and lightweight, wear them almost daily. 2018- bought a second pair in 8 regular as a backup since I wore them daily, but returned them right away because of what I'll note below...(thanks Zappos for making returns easy, you are the best!) 2019- Gave up after looking at other brands and bought another pair to keep. What I did change from 2018, I feel the sizing is a bit tighter in the new ones, so I tried an 8 Wide. The new 8Wide seems to fit like the old 8regular. Also, the back lip is a little more rough than before, I don't love that, but I think I will just wear it in and I hope it will soften up over time as I slip in and out of the shoes. Took the new ones for a trial run of errands, and now they have earned a place in my closet. :)

I like the original On Cloud version of these better than the 2.0. The 2.0 is higher in the back so it hits the back of my ankle a bit. Also, the heel broke apart from the sole after only moderate daily walking for a month.

Compared to an older On Cloud 2.0, this new pair felt taller, stiffer, narrower, at the opening. The edges are rubbing the bottoms of my ankle bones, and the heel edge is digging in at the back. I don't know if they will loosen up there and have written the company to see if construction has changed. My old pair is so comfortable, I'm really hoping these will work. I LOVE these On Cloud shoes from Zappos! This is my third pair. First kind of an off-white for summer, followed by a black pair for fall & winter. Now a brand new white/white pair and I am thrilled! I had originally bought them larger than my size in order to take my orthotic. However these shoes are so perfect for my feet that I have not used the orthotic in them. Please never stop making this shoe!!! Would recommend ordering at least a half size larger than you normally wear, or even a whole size. Returns or exchanges are super easy and no charge with Zappos. P.S. My first pairs of "expensive" shoes -- and very well worth it. I hope this helps someone!

These are probably the most stylish and comfortable running shoes I've encountered. I shopped locally at running stores and sporting goods stores. I bought and returned a few cheaper pairs from online, and finally decided to try these thanks to Zappos great return policy. These are super light (6 oz), supportive but flexible. I got the rose color which is a great addition to my neutral-toned closet. Took one star off because it runs slightly small. I am a true size 7 and had to size up for 7.5.

BRING BACK THE OLD ON’S! THESE ARE NOT THE SAME AS THE ORIGINAL ON’S! These are not comfortable. Blister on the back of my ankles and not the cushion of the old ones. Also smaller all over. I had two of the old versions and wore them out because they were so comfortable. So sad these changed.

Took some getting used to. The right foot arch support was very different than the left. More prominent? I bought these shoes because they are supposed to be worn without socks...but I got and keep getting horrible blisters unless I put bandaids on first. I noticed that the inside of the shoe has already broken down; I’ve only had them a few months a worn them a handful of times. It is a shame because they are good looking, All black, lightweight, breathable, come in different colors, slip on, can be worn without socks, roomy toe box. All the things I was looking for. But, despite that, they are the wrong fit? Come up too high on my ankle and heel, and are too loose on my heel? Which caused the inside of the shoe to wear, causing blisters? I don’t know, but they are a disappointment and a loss of a good chunk of money.

Have bought several pair in 2017. Bought 4 pair 2019 2 from Zappos and 2 directly from on-cloud. All 4 were super uncomfortable - much harder than previous pairs. The back lip rubs against my ankle so bad it has turned raw. Use to be my favorite brand. Can no longer recommend these.

Had to go up a size from the original Cloud. Is NOT as comfortable as original. Thought that I had found the perfect go to shoe and they changed it. ?? Bring back the original Cloud!

This is my second pair of On Cloud 2.0. I love the fit and the weightlessness of the shoe both on my feet and in a suitcase! They have become my “go to” traveling shoes because they are so light-weight. I also love that they can just be thrown in with a load of wash! My first pair have lasted well with all the walking they have done. My only complaint about all the On shoes is the wide gaps in the soles - great for eliminating weight, but awful for catching stones, sticks, mulch, shells etc. There must be another design that would achieve the same outcome.....

Compared to last On cloud model the back dug into my heel. I love the last model, wore it to international trips and did lots of walking. The shoes were great, but getting worn down, so I wanted to update. I’m so sad the new model has this change. I looked at the last model and the ridge on the back does not seem as stiff as this new model. I hope they bring back the old model.

After hearing extensively about ON Running Shoes from others, I decided to go with the Cloud 2.0. I should have paid more attention to the other reviewers on this site. The biggest issue with this shoe is where the achilles tendon contacts the back inside part of the shoe. The back part of the shoe is quite stiff and also curves in toward the top, making it a prime issue for rubbing up against the heel/achilles tendon area. I wore it constantly for a couple of days around the house and took the shoes out for a jog and I could tell a blister was going to develop in my heel region if I kept wearing it. Such a shame! Aesthetically, the shoe is quite stylish, especially with the "cloud technology" design. It last also had great shock absorption and was very lightweight. The toe area was a bit on the narrow side and the shoe generally felt a little small. You may want to order 1/2 a size up if you want to try it. Unfortunately, I returned it.

The length was pretty true to size. I usually wear a 7.5 ...I had to return them and buy an 8. They seem to be longer any more narrow than I expected.

This is my 4th or 5th pair, and they have been the BEST walking shoe. Have taken them on numerous travels. However, the last 2 pairs that I've ordered have not been durable--the fabric on the interior of the heel has worn away/torn within the first month. Perhaps manufacturer is using a different fabric? Despite great comfort and support, I am very disappointed with this new lack of durability, and combined with high-ish price, cannot recommend this shoe.

First of all let me say that these trainers are commuter shoes, not athletic. That being said, this is my third pair. I wear them daily on my walk to and from the bus stop and switch into dress shoes at work. These I bought specifically for a trip to Europe to navigate the cobblestone streets. The neutral color goes well with everything yet doesn't show dirt like a true white. I can remove the soles and throw them in the washing machine, no issues. They're great to slip in and out of going through TSA and they're lightweight to carry. I walked for hours in them, along cobblestone streets, up hills, and up steep stairwells.

Purchased these to teach cardio and weight classes at the gym. They felt a little narrow at first but after wearing them around the house they fit great. The bungee laces would be great if they didn’t stretch out so much, no more shoe coming unties in the middle of class! Will try to re-knot them and shorten or just switch to the regular laces (which are included).

These shoes are extremely comfortable out of the box. The reason for my 2 star review is that after 2 months of wear, the rubber tread on the sole is almost completely worn off and the fabric on the heal has a hole. This is my second pair of these, my first pair lasted 6 months before deteriorating.

The first version of these shoes was great.. I got the 2.0 and thought they would be better. They actually hurt my feet to run in. I've had them just over a year. They do look great, I get compliments on them all the time, but the first version of these is MUCH better. More comfortable, and they don't give me any problems running with them on. (I also have very high arches.. so those of you with high arches, I do NOT recommend these). Anyway, I'm a little upset because they already started to break down on the inside of the heel. I've never had a pair of shoes do this, this quickly...

These seem to run big, but would have exchanged for smaller size if the piece that comes up in the back hadn't rubbed my heel. If you look at the back of the shoe, you'll notice a raised tab which is what rubs. Other than that they would've been great. My daughter has these and has no issue with rubbing though.

I had purchased these last year in white and had to return them...they felt plastic-y, and there was a strange lump in the instep. I purchased them again this year after a friend raved at the new version! I am enamored!!! I get so many compliments, they fit like a glove on my fairly narrow, somewhat high-arch feet. I bought them for weight training days in the gym, light trail hikers, basic walk around in my athletic attire all day shoes. I highly recommend. I love the laceless elastic shoelace option. Only drawback is tread is quite wide, so you pick up large rocks here and there. But it’s not a deal breaker for me!

These shows run a half size smaller, toes have lots of room snug at the arch and kind of wraps your feet in a good way! I love, love, love these shoes and believe everyone should have a pair! They are very light weight, classy and wonderful. I love the fact that you can just slide in them and no tie needed.

After a year I'm back for another pair before they run out. Coolest walking shoes around. COMFORTABLE right out of the box. I have them on now at work. I bought the Purple, they are such a nice color with everything. Going to buy the Blk/Wht this time. They hold up great. Slow to show signs of wear. Still look brand new over a year later.

Very happy with the purchase. Comfortable and look very stylish. Unfortunately after couple months wearing the shoes, the mesh on the right shoe has a hole already .... that should not happen after such short time. Disappointed
