I had high hopes for these highly rated shoes only to find out that they are overpriced, horrible for my feet, and constantly required plucking stones out of the bottom. I NEVER review products, but this one got my goat. Someone out there must have decided they have a unique idea for a sole, didn’t test the product, and just threw it out there with marketing. I’ve never had my feet hurt so bad from a shoe. I’m 46, have owned dozens of sneakers, and have never been so dissatisfied. For real.

Nice fit, loved the style. However, and this is the big one: The interior material of these shoes are not quality. Cheaply made and on the whole not durable. Within only a month of owning them the heel upper fabric was shredding and across 9 months of wear (These can't be worn in winter due to the mesh) have shredded all over. They're comfy but don't stand up to normal use and look shoddy as heck. Total bummer. Don't buy if you like a pristine shoe. These wear out quick.

I've been buying and wearing ON shoes for 4+ years now. They break in quickly, are incredibly comfortable and hold up better than 80% of the running shoes I've owned. I can say without hesitation that I've loved every pair. Until now. With this pair, the padded material at the top of the right shoe's Heel Counter caused a blister to form the first day I wore them. I figured it was break-in related and continued wearing them with adhesive blister protectors over my Achilles tendon for another week. It's been almost two months now and I still have to wear a blister protector at the top of my right heel when wearing these shoes. My luck with ON shoes has been great in the past so hopefully mine is an isolated problem. I still believe ON makes some of the best running shoes out there and I will continue to support the brand.

I have owned many pairs of the "1.0" On Clouds. These are super lightweight and excellent travel shoes. I walk a lot in these shoes on vacations and love how little space they take up. I have consistency been a "12" which they equate to a 47EU (which is nuts) - 12 is a 45EU. Anyways the 2.0 is def more snug and smaller. It's tighter in the heel - which I like, but also very tight in the mid section. I had to go a half size up to tolerate wearing them for more than a few hours. Beyond the "fit" they are still my go to travel and casual sneakers. I get a lot of compliments on them.

These were my 3rd pair of ON Cloud shoes. My first two pair were the original Cloud and the 3rd pair are the Cloud 2.0. While the fit and the feel are almost exactly the same as the original, the inner liner of the 2.0 version (especially at the heel) is not as durable. I have a pair that is almost 3 years old now that are in better condition than this last pair. Nothing changed about how I wear them. I'm really torn on buying a 4th pair because I have the hardest time finding shoes that fit me well and these are near perfect.

Just no. Fairly disappointed with these shoes. I don't understand the glowing reviews. I'm a comfort shoe guy, and I expected much better considering the stellar reviews, but I'll be returning them. 1. Construction and even comfort, feel on par with much cheaper shoes in the $40-$50 range - think cheap bargain bin level. I've had better feel with $35 sale bin Sketchers. Even the glue seams look suspect. 2. Looks much better in marketing pics than in person. These are NOT at all "notice me" shoes. These are disappear and never be looked at shoes, at least the black and white pair I got. 3. It's only slightly narrower than normal D or M, and I had no problem with fit, but with having virtually no support/no arch support(not just on sole but at the upper level perhaps exacerbated by the bungie cords) I really felt my foot pronating unnaturally, and I would say I'm a neutral pronator. After a slow short 100-200 meter jog on treadmill for test; 4. With name like Cloud, I expected Ecco or Nike or at least Clarks levels of comfort and construction. With claim to being a running shoe, I expected Nike or Asics level of comfort and support - just NO. These feel like you're walking on tire rubber with cheap beach sandal cover for the upper. I expected the holes on the outsole to have some spring(but no, they seem there solely for weight reduction) Just 100 meters on the treadmill left my knees and hips aching. Do NOT recommend for any amount of running, not just for this reason but for various, like the bungie straps, no arch support, hard outsole, flimsy feeling construction, and lastly, with the shoes I got, I seemed to feel the heel flap on one side much more than I would like. I also personally prefer a larger heel to toe differential for jogging. Positives are, yes, the shoes are light and upper has a feel like a sock - on the other hand, I've felt much better than this at 1/3 the price. But in the same vain, it lacks support. Yes, these will NOT be noticed much looks wise; and that's a two sided sword; might not be bad with a pair of jeans. I would've kept them at half the price, but for the outrageous price these are being sold for - no way. I expected something special for the price. The price puts them at competition that they just can't match the quality of. I CAN see these might have some advantages as travel shoes for some, 1. They are lightweight. 2. easy to take off and on. 3. Kinda meh look that will not stand out with lots of outfits - not look good or bad. But you can find these qualities at better price on competitors imo. And these are NOT running shoes. Nor in my opinion worth the price. These are just a meh walk around or stand for a long time shoes. Sit around in couch shoes? Don't know. I just don't see what good these are. Personally, I bought them for travel, not for exercise, but even for that, I don't trust them to perform. They really look and feel cheap to me; perhaps "minimalist" is the euphemism for it? Finally, one pet peeve, I hated the tank tread feel when walking on them; feels like -tat tat tat tat tat tat-every step I took. These Swiss need to hit the engineering books again. Returning tomorrow.

It’s hard finding running shoes that fit well, while looking clean, simple, and stylish. I don’t like the garish colors, patterns, logos/lettering of most running shoes. I can dress up/down and workout with this running shoe. Also, I greatly appreciate that there is no heel loop. I understand its use, but I hate the look of a heel loop. Thankfully, this shoe doesn’t have it. The bungee shoelace is very cool, no tying or adjustments needed. I just put the shoe on and that’s it. Regular shoelaces are supplied in the box if you don’t like the bungee shoelaces. I bought the all black color, and despite being all black, it’s still visually stunning. I am definitely getting this shoe in more colors.

I replaced a 11.5 with a 12, and I think I have the right size now. I do have one issue, and that is a crease on the left toe that I find annoying to my foot. I am hoping it wears itself away

I love these sneakers, so let’s get that out of the way. But the material used for the inside back of the sneaker doesn’t hold up - see photo attached. Both started to wear out at a few months in. Also, and I might add, I’m not particularly hard on my shoes/sneakers. So although I might buy these again because they are so damn comfortable, I’m not so sure!

Something seems to have changed with the manufacturing process as I own these identical shoes in white and they fit fine but the black ones are impossible. I wear orthotics in my sneakers which were no problem in the white On Cloud 2.0 sneakers i ordered from Zappos in June. But the same style and size in black doesn't allow for the orthotic, a sock and my foot in the sneaker. The inside volume seems to have shrunk. Too bad - been wearing On sneakers for years but this new version no es bueno.

Great style, extremely light and comfortable, but the cheap materials wore down quickly and started falling apart. I'm not much of a runner. I mostly walk in them and do some weight work when I wear them while working out. Even with my relatively light treatment, after about a month, the heel started to show advanced signs of wear, and now they're falling apart. In some ways, this isn't a surprise. The interior materials of the shoe felt cheap an inadequate from the get go. On the good side, they are the lightest shoes I've ever owned, and I will forever be a convert to the easy entry laces. Unfortunately, at this price range, I would have expected higher build quality and I couldn't imagine how they would hold up for an avid runner. I wouldn't rebuy.

These were for my husband, and he says they are great. Both he and I think that On shoes run small by about one half size.

I was uncertain about this shoe as its design is rather unorthodox. I'm not a runner, but I wanted a shoe that I could run for brief sprints or jogs in (mostly on pavement) or walk in for an entire day. I've always been partial to lace-up shoes, but as I was traveling to Japan where shoes are constantly taken off, I was intrigued by the convenience of the bungee lace system that allows you to slip the shoe one. It was risky to buy shoes just before a long, international trip and take only that pair of shoes on the trip. But, I'm pleased to report that it was a great success. The shoes are stylish, functional, and most important of all, comfortable. It is very lightweight but provides ample cushioning at the right moment (firm when pushing off). I've worn it for casual use for over a month. Only time will tell how durable it is, but no signs of premature wear yet. The tread design does tend to catch sticks or other objects (on occasion) and it will track dirt/mud. So, not ideal for off-pavement use, but so far cleaning the tread hasn't been too much trouble. I haven't gotten the fabric dirty yet. The shoe breathes well and would keep feet cool in hot weather... but perhaps too cool in cold weather. I'll probably wear less in the middle of a Georgia winter.

Looks great, super convenient with the slip on laces, very comfortable. Except, you will absolutely develop a blister from the heel counter if you wear these without socks. I got these shoes to kick around during the warmer months sock-less, and they are perfect except for the combination of heel counter shape and material. Whatever is going on back there causes some fierce rubbing on the Achilles heel, and gave me big blisters the first day I wore them. Would probably be a non issue with socks, and maybe they will break in, but something to be mindful of if you’re intending to wear these sock-less.

This is my second pair of On running shoes, the first being the On Cloud. These shoes look much nicer than the original design, but that was the only thing better about them. I had two issues. First, the foo tbed was much harder, and running long distances hurt more than the original design. The heel was also 1/4 inch higher than the original and tighter, causing the back to give me blisters and wear out faster. I strongly recommend just getting the original, rather than the 2.0. The wider channel on the bottom, intended to reduce the rocks in the channel is nice, but not perfect. I still get rocks stuck in it. It's a nice shoe, but a step back from the original design.

This On Cloud 2.0 is one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever purchased. These are shockingly lightweight, so much so that when the box arrives you think it's empty. The shoe has fantastic support. The elastic laces make these easy to slip on and off and they hug your feet. They may feel tight when you first get them but they will loosen up as you wear them and feel like they are a part of you. The sole of this shoe has an amazing bounce which fights fatigue as it puts an extra spring into your step. I'd HIGHLY recommend these. This is my 2nd pair, (different color). I tried the same brand with laces but returned them since they didn't feel like they had the same support as well as bounce as this model. 5 - Stars

Great shoes. Have 2 pairs now. First pair I purchased from the company website. This time the shoes were out of stock. I found them on Zappos. Ordered, came pretty fast, no issues. Wore them the next day to daughters softball game and noticed a cut on the tongue. Looks like maybe from a box cutter or some kind of really sharp knife. But because I had been wearing them for a few hours outside I figured I couldn’t send them back.

Very Very narrow. For reference, size 11.5 was too tight for foot dimensions of 10' 6'' (L) and 4' 3/8'' (W) with medium-thick sports socks. Beautiful shoes.

Bought these for my husband. Size is true to size. Very comfortable. He loved that the laces don’t require to be tied... so he can just slip them on and off. They are elastic-like. They did come with standard laces, if you would prefer to switch them out. Great looking shoe.
