This shoe is narrow in the mid-foot and short in the toe box. It fits perfectly if you order one full size up and extra wide. I have flat feet and the arch support is adequate. The cushioning is moderate. Comfortable, but not sure about durability as I've only run about 30+ miles in them. I wore these in a 5K I just ran last weekend and got a PR time, so I'm not complaining!

Finally found a size that is correct for me (8.5 / EE here). Comfortable no-frills running shoe. I haven't yet given the durability a real test.

Nice looking even for a size 13 but too small

I have wide and flat feet. It is hard to find comfortable shoes. I bought these for the comfort and width. Unfortunately, after a few months of wear, the interior material at the toe tore. The material is thinly cheap. I expected more for these pricey shoes.

Day 3 of my 7th pair of 2000s... snag toe of sole piece on root which rips most of toe sole from shoe. Tiny bit of adhesive was holding (unsuccessfullly) toe sole piece to rest of shoe. Good thing Super Glue is cheap.

Shoes look sharp. They have absolutely zero arch support so do not expect that. I will have to buy inserts in order to use these shoes

This is a good-looking shoe, and I was eager to try it out as I had started having problems with my old go-to (Mizuno Wave Inspire). The Asics GT-2000s came in the mail and I put ONE shoe on and it was tight. Very tight. I took two steps, removed the shoe, and put it back in the box for a return. This was at least a whole size smaller in length, and very narrow. A size up and wider wasn't available in my size, so I just exchanged these for another pair of the Mizunos.

I’ve been wearing the ASICs GT 2000 for years and multiple iterations of the shoe. Obviously I like the fit and feel. Sizing has changed a little over the years and now runs a little small. One thing I noticed Ann don’t like about the latest pear, the material on the upper shoe is extremely thin and light. This she was always a light weight shoe, but now it is ultra light. But provides no insulation against the cold here in a Michigan winter. So when I run in winter, my feet start out pretty cold. I don’t like this latest change. Also, the color combinations offered for this shoe in the last few years are for the most part quite ugly. I’ve had to settle for a basic black with white trim. Come on Asics, step it up.

After about 6 runs in my new shoes, I noticed the tread on the sole had already begun to detach from the rest of the shoe. This is way too early for such an issue. Aside from that, I love it - appearance, support, etc.

This is a nice looking shoe and feels good to wear. But the mesh covering your toes seemed very cheap and started tearing after only a few weeks. Disappointed to pay so much for shoes that did not last.

Have ordered 2 pairs of these and both have ripped along the small toe. Moderate use and the fit was not too small as to cause the toe to rip out. it appears that Asics has some research to do in regards of using better materials.

Despite being a 4e, did not fit like a 4e. Why are wide size shoes getting narrower?!

With only about 50 miles on the shoes the lateral seams started to separate. Then when tightening the laces the front seam above the toes tore horizontally.

These shoes felt like a regular size width. No support. Were not true to description.

I love the fit of these. The addition of flyte foam makes for a cushioned yet responsive ride. And they are even lighter than previous versions. I has all the features to by me everyday go-to running shoe. BUT after 75 km the mesh upper is already tearing totally apart. What happened here? Do not buy this shoe before Asics will hopefully fix this and the next version. So please Asics. Fix it and bring back my favourite trainers.

The shoe fits and feel great, and Asics are my go-to. But these just seem to fall apart. Less than 150 miles on them and the tops are splitting and my toes are sticking out. I've never had a disappointment with Asics until now, but these shoes are junk.

These were more narrow (narrower) than any of the previous Asics I ordered. Definitely NOT wide at all.

Since my doctor recommended this brand to me couple years ago, I had many GT 2000 and I was kind of afraid of making changes. Today, i just returned one i bought few days ago. It hurts especially the right one.

One shoe was visibly shorter than the other and of course felt that way when on. Returned.

I have been a loyal fan of Asics shoes for several years and have been happy with the last couple versions of the GT-2000 line. When reviewing the new version 6 I found a couple of online reviews that showed pictures of the upper mesh material falling apart, but I figured that it was just do to some extreme usage. Well, I have really only been wearing my Asics for walking and light exercise and after a couple of short weeks, the exact same thing happened to me. The upper mesh has completely come undone. The white you see in the attached photo is my sock....and I'm pretty sure its not supposed to be showing through the torn mesh material. Stay clear of this particular version of the GT-2000 line.

Bought the next generation of shoes, have always worn the same type, and they are a good half size smaller than my current ones despite both being a "10." Tried wearing them for a while thinking they would get more comfortable and it started causing toe pain. Also much tighter across the top of the foot. Going to have to purchase a whole Pair of shoes.
