I take back what I said above. After about a weeks break in period I find these shoes to be perfectly comfortable. True to size. Recommended for anyone looking for a classic athletic style sneaker that will fulfill expectations.

Ordered for my husband. He really likes the way they look. He had to wear thin socks & really loosen the shoe laces. Even after this, he still had a hard time slipping his feet in.

True to size! Got these in exchange for the Free Run 2017 that run a size smaller than the 2016’s. Zappos customer service on point as always. There is a differential in the sole, at least 8mm. They tie up nicely. This being said I don’t find them comfortable! They give me pain in my ankles and lower legs. I wonder if it’s bc of the weird part of the sole under the heel? Like one half is completely different than the other. I thought this would be good for my under-pronation. This is while wearing my orthotic insoles that I’ve worn comfortably with other pairs of Nike’s. Also, before I tried these on I did notice by rubbing the inside of the shoe at the heel with my finger, under the (removable) insole, that it is not completely smooth and I was concerned about that. I wear a size 13/12.5. I think I just should have exchanged the Free Runs for a 14 and be done with it.

Good fit! It is easy to slide my feet in and out of the shoes, but they do not feel loose at all.

Ordered these on a Thursday and they were at my home on Saturday, couldn't ask for a better turn around time. The shoes felt great and are very comfortable. I do have a relatively narrow foot and these really felt good for a medium width shoe. Would highly recommend this shoe for anyone looking for a economical, well made running shoe.

Great shoe but the neck is very tight as it is stretchy material and gets uncomfortable when worn while driving.

The sneakers were alright, but I’ll use them on a flat surface. The bottoms seem to be designed for that purpose. I was running on a road with little bumps or holes. I caught myself a couple of times before rolling my ankle. Better use on just a straight track.

After I purchased this same shoe in orange in an 11, I ordered it in blue in an 11.5 (this one). I feel that since I wear an 11 for most all sneakers, and an 11 in new balance is my most comfortable shoe, that this model of Nike requires you to scale up half a size, especially if you have wider feet and use inserts (orthotics for flat feet in my case). I find the fit to give good support for cardio like running and elliptical. I like the color but I wish it were a bit brighter. Like the orange one I love. This cobalt is more muted than I hoped for but I still like it quite a bit. I suggest ordering half a size higher because if you order true to size I find this model to pinch a bit on the sides and also to be a bit too snug on the top of your foot. However, for people who do not use orthotics like me, you probably should order true to size unless you have wide feet.

Uneven sole wear. The “airmax” part of sole didn’t wear as fast as the other sections, causing my feet to feel that they were sliding sideways off the shoe. Disappointing.

I have ran twice in these shoes ( 1.9 mi each time ). I was disappointed. They fit ok , but not as snug as I would have liked. The cushioning was adequate to good (I'm 6'4 217 lbs ). I am not real crazy about the "honeycomb" design upper, but I am fond of the solid white upper w/ colored swoosh . The most disappointing thing about this shoe is that it gets beaten easily by a NIKE shoe I bought in 2000 ( $120 ). This shoe IS better than an " air pocket bottom" Reebok that I also purchased in 2000 ( $100 ). I bought a size 15 in this shoe.

I love how these look. The bright orangey/pink and red looks fantastic, but there was a large bump of padding on the insole outside of my left foot that I couldn't bear, even for a day. If they made them in a wide, or ditched some of that footbed padding, I'd be happy.

Too narrow for a D width shoe. I couldn't wear it.

Sent them back because of a defect near the toe box and the sole. The mesh had creased when they glued the sole on. Overall the shoe was comfortable.
