The read started to fall off in just a week with normal wear and tear. Pure junk. They look good though and are comfortable, though a little narrower than most shoes that are considered D width. My first pair of Brooks shoes have been amazing so I was excited to buy a 2nd pair. The quality of the build is a total disappointment. I returned these.

I like these a lot! I run 25-30 miles per week on roads, and they’re good for about 3 months. I do add inserts for a little extra arch support.

I am very happy with the shoe. It is comfortable and stylish. I will say that I think the toe box is slightly narrow - not much.

I loved the Pure Flow since the original series came out. When I read reviews of the Pure flow 2 and heard numerous people say it changed for worse in a couple of areas, I bought up numerous pair of the original pure flow. I loved them and am now through all of those, and bought these latest pure flows. Brooks - Please bring back the navicular band that held the foot into the heel pocket with out the need to over tighten the rest of the laces. I have discussed with numerous people (runners) that I have known over the years that had different versions of the flow and many of them started loving the original and most say some things get better, but many things are worse. could have left them be. The box on these feel small too, but that may be due to not having the band holding the foot back and down in the heel pocket. These look a little better than some earlier versions, but functionality is most important. If this line stays the way it is I will need to find a different shoe.

I’ve been a loyal Brooks footwear customer for many years, specifically the Ghost running shoes. However I decided based on the positive PureFlow shoe reviews to give them a try. I should have stuck with Ghost and I can’t wait to go back. The PureFlow definitely does not have the same support and cushioning that the Ghost shoes consistently provide. I run 25-30 miles a week on a mix of road/treadmill. With the PureFlow I noticed arch pain and overall foot fatigue that would cause me to cut my runs short. When I reverted back to my old Ghost shoes the pain and fatigue immediately subsided. I gave the PureFlow a solid 60 miles to test and I have decided these are not the shoes for me. I’m running right back to the Brooks Ghost Shoes and returning the PureFlow.

Best running/walking shoe for me. great support and low back for anyone who has achilles issues. sorry to see Pure Flow disappear.
