Hello. I am an avid runner, putting in 40 miles a weak and peaking at around 70 during marathon training. This shoe is essentially a racing flat. Little to no arch support (which I don't need for just racing), but very light weight. The cushioning is just a little firmer than I would like, probably due to the nearly full coverage of the carbon outsole. I'm guessing the midsole cushioning would become compacted and lose some of it's cushioning properties before the outsole wears out. Since all of the previous UA shoes I've owned have been very durable, I'm guessing that is the case with this model as well. A size 14 weighs 10oz (I weighed it), which corresponds to a little over 6oz for a Men's size 9, so it's very lightweight. I've had several UA shoes now in both size 13 & 14. I have found UA sizing to be consistent from model to model, but always running tight and small. I measure 12.5 and consisitently wear size 13 in most other brands and models, but with UA shoes I always move up to a 14. I would order a 13.5 if it was offered, but 14 is still great. One thing UA could do to make this shoe better in future versions (I don't know if they have reps that review this site) is to make cutouts in the carbon outsole. This would allow the sole to have more give and take, thereby improving the cushioning qualities and perhaps make the shoe even a little lighter without compromising it's durability. This is the lightest UA running shoe I have encountered to date. I ordered from Zappos through amazon due to better shipping preferences for me. Either way I'm sure it's fine. Good running!!

Very light. Good fit. Heel cushioning felt weird at first but was good after a little wear.
