I purchased the Powerstep insole for my Morton's Neuroma. They have adequate metatarsal support but not for the ball of the foot. I need more padding up front. Had to return since they wouldn't help my problem.

LOVE these. I have pain in the ball of my feet and no arch (Morton's Neuroma). These inserts are really good. I am a fitness trainer and do a ton of walking and I can easily get 3-4 months out of these (keep in mind I switch out between a half a dozen different training shoes). My podiatrist said these are his top pic for OTC inserts. They fit well in any of my running/training/walking shoes (I wear 8.5 to 9 ladies). Only complaint is the colour. Couldn't they be just a bit prettier?

These are very similar to the Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx. Very excellent arch support. It is not a hard plastic arch support, but it is very firm and yet slightly flexible, so that the support eventually gives a little. The padding is not soft enough for me. They're kind of stiff, so you need to give them some break-in time to help with the flexibility. The top fabric layer is very nice; it appears to be some kind of nylon, and is kind of sock-like. There is not additional cushioning in the heel area, so if you have heel pain, these may not work for you. They would work well in boots but not athletic shoes, since they have very little flex. FYI, because the arch is pretty high, they will take up extra space in your shoes. THE MAJOR DIFFERENCE with these and the Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx is that these have a metatarsal pad to cushion and spread out the metatarsal heads. This did not work for me. It caused a pins-and-needles effect on the top of my feet, in between my 2nd and 3rd toes, and in my ankle area, after I wore them a short while. That was a very uncomfortable feeling, so I’m pretty sure I shouldn’t wear them. Otherwise, if you’re accustomed to having a metatarsal pad, these may be perfect for you. They are a very high quality insole.

I found it odd that the metatarsal pad was under my arch instead of near the ball of my foot.

I love my other Powerstep insoles, but these were a little too aggressive for my feet. I may not need as much metatarsal support as these provide. They are just not right for my feet.

I have used the regular Powerstep Pinnacle inserts for years and they have the best combination of flexibility and firm arch support of any I have tried. I tried the plus variety after I developed Mortons neuroma, hoping they would take the place of the Pinnacle insoles plus neuroma pads from Hapad. Unfortunately, the exact spots that hurts can vary by person and by shoe fit and by the socks you wear, so the extra padding wasn't in quite the right spot. I kept these to use in yard shoes where I won't be on my feet all day, and they are fine. In the future, I will stick to the two part solution with the removable pads.

Needed metatarsal support which it had, but it was too thick for most boots and shoes I needed it for, and had a hard non flexible material that made it hard to place in shoes. Too bad, gotta go back and continue search.

These are not meant for normal feet. On top of the already significant arch support, the large metatarsal pad is wildly uncomfortable. It projects right into the arch of the foot and places a significant pressure there. I find these insoles to be entirely unwearable. Points for having an anti-microbial layer and coming in size 15, they do fit my giant shoes very well.

These were recommended by my podiatrist to correct supination that was causing abrasions on my toe pads. They have worked remarkably well. I couldn't be more pleased!

Fit my shoe perfectly. I wasn’t sure they would work the metatarsal bump looked like it was in the wrong place, but my feet are very happy.

These are better than the Orthotic inserts I got from a doctor. Good for metatarsal issues

I purchased these upon recommendation of my podiatrist since they have a metarsial pad which not too many insoles have. Thus, they have worked well in my exercise classes. Also, they have a lot of padding which I need.

These are nice orthotics but I found the material a bit too hard and to have not enough give.
