Absolutely beautiful boot but absolutely no padding. Stylish but uncomfortable.

I wear a pretty solid US 10M or Euro 41 and ordered the 10M in these. They're absolutely beautiful booties but they run a little narrow and a little short. If there were a 10.5 available I'd definitely do an exchange, but the next size up is an 11 and I know from experience that they'll likely be too big. I advise anyone ordering these to order a half size up if you can.

I often find Aquatalia to run large. I have two other pair of Aqutalia boots one in a 10 and the other in a 10.5 But in these boots I needed the 1, especially to wear socks rather than hose in the winter. They are very classic looking and go with jeans, leggings, skirts and dresses. I really love that all of my Aquatalia boots are weather proof. For those who need the half size, the Aquatalia website does carry these in a size 10.5, but Zappos didn’t include that size in their inventory.

Absolutely beautiful. I have 3-4 pairs of other booties and boots from Aquatalia - all 9.5 - and positively love them. Typically they run narrow in the heel compared to other brands which prevents slip. Worth the price as they are lasting and can be worn in any weather (although I've been cautious weather-wise). These ran big - length and width. I tried them on with a mid-weight wool sock which is thick for this shoe brand as they usually run narrow. Highly recommend the shoe but may need to go down a half size.

I have these boots in black in a half size smaller but I do not find these boots too large at all. In fact they are perfect for city walking, they are water proof, they have a great style, and are in a beautiful espresso brown color. I love them. Aquatalia is one of my favorite brands.

Just got these and am very happy with their look and comfort. Very elegant, chic boot without a high heel — not the easiest thing to find!

These are beautiful boots. The suede-wrapped heel is very sleek. I have a lot of boots (some considerably more expensive,) but nothing as spectacular as these. My feet are wide but these fit, and I think will stretch slightly over time. The color is deep navy, close to black.

At first when I put these booties on, I thought I would want to sleep in them; they seemed to hug my foot perfectly. But after a few minutes, they started to hurt. There is no cushioning and the sole did not feel likely to be steady on ice, so my idea of one shoe for fall/winter (in Minnesota/spring did not seem viable with these, despite their being weatherproof.

Disappointing. A boot costing almost $500. should be perfect. I agree with other reviewers that the navy Ulyssaa looked black. The boot was not near as comfortable as boots in my closet that cost half the price.

Beautiful boots. So well made, chic and comfortable. I bought a half a size bigger and put a Happy feet insert in and I am in heaven after a recent foot fracture.

I love Aquatalia & have other footwear from this brand. The reason I'm returning these is that my narrow pants did not fit either in the top of the boot or over so it was awkward. They would be perfect with wider leg pants.

Wow - Aquatalia does it again! A perfect fit from the moment I tried them on! Gorgeous boot and super comfy. Over the past few years I have spent countless hours searching for the perfect black patent leather bootie. It’s a staple in my wardrobe and I literally wore holes in my last pair so when it came time for a new pair two years ago, I thought there was no hope lol. Everything looked cheap, except the high end designer brands, and those were out of my budget. Thank goodness I did not give up the search and found these Aquatalias early enough in the season to still get my size! I absolutely love anything patent leather and this boot is perfect with its subtle texture, which will help minimize the inevitable scrapes that come with wearing patent. There was no breaking-in time as it fit perfectly straight out of the box. It is wide enough in the toe to wear a decent sock and small enough that my narrow ankle doesn’t slip. This is my 4th pair of Aquatalia boots and I couldn’t be happier.

This is my 3rd pair of Aquatalias. You can never go wrong with Aquatalia boots. Top quality (and you pay for it). Excellent style. My other pairs lasted more than 10 years so its hard to justify buying new ones!

Love the Acquatalia Ulyssa! I have it in black, blue and espresso suede as well as the 'naplak' patent. I have a wide foot and very high instep, but slim ankles and a narrow heel. I normally wear a 9-9.5 or 40 EU and I always size up to a 10 in Acquatalia and they fit like a dream. I also own a block heel bootie and they all fit exactly the same. These are amazingly comfortable - I do use a small insert for my high arches, and have plenty of room. With a wide foot, they are comfortably snug around the ball of my foot but I have plenty of toe room. They look absolutely amazing with skinny slacks and an oversized sweater. They dress up easily - or look amazing with jeans. Well worth the price and a steal on sale!

Favorite Bootie! Gorgeous, high quality, comfortable and elegant. Looks amazing with jeans, skinny slacks (my favorite) or flowing, wide leg pants or dresses. I have wide feet and an extremely high instep, but with narrow heel and slender ankles. I've read reviews about this being narrow and I find it a very comfortable medium. I normally wear a 9.5 (size 40 EU) and in Acquatalia, I always order a 10. I love the extra toe room and the designs are so elegant, the extra length never looks clunky. The 10 fits like a dream and I do wear inserts to support my arches and they fit no problem. I have these in black, blue and espresso suede as well as the naplak and adore them. Worth every penny and definitely a steal on sale!

At first there felt like something hard across the ball of my foot, but by day 2 it was gone. I put toe pads in all of my shoes and boots.

These are pretty Aquatalia's, but found they run VERY narrow.

I love Aquatalia because they are well made in Italy and suit my narrow foot with larger second toe. They are expensive but water repellent and they last. I have worn one pair of kitten-heeled boots for at least 5 years. I ordered Ulysses in fur with cheetah print, and they were certainly statement boots and fit well. But considering their limited use (you can't wear animal print every day) and price $600-plus, I decided not to splurge. Had they been cheaper I would,

The sizing was correct, the leather is high quality and I really liked the covered heel. It was just not very comfortable to walk in. Felt flat and didn't flex with my foot / ankle well when I walked. Something just felt off so I returned them.

This is not a brown boot. It is charcoal. The style is beautiful, the boot is comfortable but it is not brown, therefore, I am returning it.

Wanted to love these, but they were painfully small and the part of the bootie around the ankle was stiff and very narrow. I am a small person, but I know my ankle would have been irritated.
