The quality was very good, the look of the suede is rich and the snub on the toe is unique and fun. I wear a size 8M- the sizing seem spot on. I wear with medium thickness socks to keep my feet snug in them. I ordered both the black and the blue colors and gave one to my twin sister. She loved them as well- the extra height in the boot heel is just what u need when u are 5'4". I like that the heel is wood instead of the suede- it gives the boot interest. A quality product - I recommend. Thank you Zappos for making my life easier and fun shopping online with free shipping coming and going.

Color is the focus of this review. I already had the black boots and read the reviews about the 'Blue Jean' color so I ordered some. Like other reviewers I think the blue jean color looks great with denim and gray jeans. It is great to have the blue color as it so much more 'pulled together' looking with all colors of denim and gives you a choice to have something other than black with gray slacks or jeans. When I first opened the box I couldn't tell if they were black or blue; I tried them on with jeans and sure enough they are definitely blue. I think they appear darker at home than in the Zappos photo so here is a photo of one blue and one black boot. (blue is on the right as you are looking at the photo). If you can afford 2 pair I highly recommend it.

Very impressed with the look and the soft fur lining. Can wear with thin socks or even without, possibly. Not a very wide shoe, but does fit my normal width feet. Comfortable immediately. Best feature, the useful color which looks great with navy/grey pants - dress pants just as well as jeans. Very versatile. Great heel height so my longer dress pants look perfect - I am 5 feet 10 and needed a shoe with a bit of heel for those size long/tall dress pants. Glad I finally found a comfortable solution to this problem. Was worried about cowboy boot look, but these are not that. They look stylish and not frumpy at all.

Perfect everyday boot! They go beautifully with my favorite dark jeans, therefore they are going to be worn everywhere! I love the suede, to look a little dressy, yet casual too; the low heel for just the right amount of lift, and a cozy lining that comforts my feet all day. The finishing touch is that the soles are grippy rubber so I don’t make a lot of noise everywhere I walk and I feel secure walking as I do a variety of daily tasks. I am so happy I bought these!!

I bought these in navy as a "spare" pair of boots, just something for jeans, but they are now my every day boot. Perfect fit, very true to size, the 40 fits like a perfect 9. Has moderate arch support but is a very comfortable boot. I love the light soft faux fur lining, it's not too thick, doesn't create heat just makes the boots a warmer choice. The hidden goring is great, very unobtrusive, makes for easy on and off. Now I want them in black too.

Loved this boot, until it started falling apart after just a week or two of wear. The fabric came part at the seam on the outer side of one boot, and the heel material on one boot started coming unglued at the lower edges. So disappointed, as I really liked these. Returning.

These are very comfortable out of the box. I like the "fur" inside and the height of the heel. They are easy to put on and take off - something that is important to me. They are very well made. I did not know this brand before - but I bought both colors of these boots and am looking to buy more from this brand. I wish they had other colors - turquoise, red, purple. Not everything needs to be blah black or navy! I am glad Zappos carries this brand and that I found them. I really like them!

OMG. Warm and stylish and comfortable. How can a boot be all these things?!?! I am going to buy in black. I bought in blue and it goes with all my navy.

My favorite part about these booties is the color— the dark greyish blue is so very versatile. The inside has a nice furry lining to keep your feet warm.

Beautiful boot with hardened toe to avoid scuffs on toe. You can barely see the difference. Lovely fur inside. Love these boots.

Very nice bootie but I had ordered two pairs of similar booties, and these are going back because they are just a little tight and the other pair was a little more stylish with the tassel, whereas these are more plain.

Cute and very comfortable. Nice heel height to give a bit of arch support but wearable for everyday.

Josef Seibel Daphne 09 in suede black. I have had these long enough to review now. They are stylish, comfortable, and warm. This is the perfect ankle boot for cold winter days. Inside the boot is soft plush lining that makes my feet feel like they are enveloped in cozy blanket. I wish they made this in knee high because I would get those too.

This ankle boots are awesome! So cute and they fit very nicely. Very comfortable. The suede at the toe and heel does look like it is "pre-worn" off. Almost as though preparing for when wear and tear would naturally occur.

Wow! I loved these boots from the minute they arrived. I wore them right away without a break-in time and they feel like I’m walking on a cloud. They look fantastic with blue jeans.

These are so incredibly comfortable and stylish. Immediately comfortable with a little insolation for warmth. I was looking for a pair of navy boots and these were absolutely perfect.

I wear a 7.5B and these are super comfortable. The toe box was roomy enough for my toes. Love them!

The European 39 fit my 8.5M foot perfectly, and the toe box is wide enough to accommodate my arthritic toes while still looking stylish. I love, love, love these booties and plan to wear them non-stop walking around Europe in a few weeks. I also love the soft fur inside and the cushiony sole and heel. So comfortable! A great find and a great value.

These boots are amazing. I wear 71/2 normally. The 38 was a good fit with nice toe room. I added an arch support pad. The blue is very dark, which I liked. I just ordered another pair in black.

These are fabulous! Great style, toe is not too pointy and not too rounded. Look great with skirts - short and midi-and with jeans. Very comfortable and I would recommend.

Love the style, blue color and the lining feels wonderful. I wear a 6 usually and the size chart for a 37 was 6-6 1/2. I wouldv'e ordered the 36 first, but it was out of stock. So, I gave the 37 a try and it was way too big for me and I had to return. I was able to find a 36 elsewhere and for the record, it fit perfect. These look great with light and dark colored jeans and are so comfy!

Nice suede material and adequate toe room for my slightly wide foot. I tried Toms Deia and they are a bit too narrow, so Josef Siebel wins. For others I have a longer foot, and shorter toes, and high arch. Zappos service flawless and fast as always.

Fantastic shoe. Lining was a nice, soft surprise. If you’re looking for a blue suede shoe, go for this one. Comfortable w a great heel height.

Thes boots fit me perfectly from the first try on. I wear them when I need a little more warmth, and the inside furry lining provides that. The color is fabulous. The denim suede is very stylish and goes with anything, not just jeans. I highly recommend these. True to size and width. (7 1/2 M)
