Based on others reviews that these run narrow, I almost didn't even bother to try these. I have a wider foot, not one that requires a W sized shoe yet, but def a wider foot. I took a leap of faith because I was so in love with the style, the fact that their handmade and...the style... I ordered the Bed Stu Nandi in a size 8.5 and a 9. The 8.5 fit like an 8 and the 9 fit like an 8.5. For me the sizing of the shoe was proportionate from size 8.5 to 9. Meaning it didn't just get noticeably longer in the 9, the width was wider as well. Along with these Bed Stu Nandi, I also purchased two other Bed Stu styles, an oxford, and a loafer from another site. Also in sizes 8.5 and 9. So I had an excellent assortment of shoe styles to assess the overall fit of Bed Stu. All three of the 8.5's fit like an 8 at best. The oxford was very snug. The loafer was the most generous. The 9 was not enough for me in the oxford. The loafer fit like a 9 in the size 9. The Nandi seemed decent in size 9 for length and width, but something was still not quite comfortable for me in any of the 6 pairs of shoes. After walking around the house, rotating the styles I figured it out. The height and/or slope of the 'vamp' to toe was too shallow/acute for me. From the top of my foot arch tot he top of my big toenail they were being compressed. Along with a borderline definitively wide foot, I know that I need height in the toe box for my toe depth. If you also experience this it will be a deal breaker for you with Bed Stu shoes. The quality of materials of these shoes is amazing. The detail of these shoes is amazing. The fact that they are handmade is amazing. The basis of their sizing and the slope of their 'vamp' may be a challenge. May you have better luck with this brand. I am shipping all three styles, 6 pairs back. I was no Cinderella today.

I really love these boots. I spent an embarrassing amount of time researching Chelsea-style boots and actually ended up ordering the Clarks first, but sent those back and ordered these. They are super stylish. I saw that another review mentioned a gray finish but the ones I received don't really have that.

These are beautiful boots but felt narrow in the forefoot. I returned for a half size larger and they were perfect. However, the color difference between the two pairs were considerable different. See my picture.

Love these boots! Did feel a little narrow when I first put them on but can feel them stretching as I wear them. You can’t help but to clomp when you are wearing, they are not quiet, but you need to be noticed wearing these boots right!?

The shoes look and feel nice. Not sure they're worth the price, however. My issue is that Zappos sent me USED shoes!! How do you send used shoes at that price? I mean, they didn't even clean them up first. The bottoms look like someone went for a downtown stroll. Terrible integrity. Returning them ASAP.

Love these boots! For anyone unsure of sizing, or never purchased this brand before, I recommend getting your normal size, maybe half size up. They will stretch. They will feel very snug when you first put them on, so don’t let that scare you. They’re beautiful boots, excellent quality and definitely recommend. Just know they’re going to feel small and stiff at first.

I wear tons of boots, mostly Frye though I also have a few pairs of BedStu. These fit just as nicely as my other BedStu boots. I think I’m general BedStu boots runs narrower than other brands .... however it really depends on the style as I can wear 5.5 to 6.5 in Fryes. I’m a small size 6, these fit nicely with a thinner / average thickness sock. For warmer winter socks I’d need to size up in this boot though I am very happy with the size 6. If you have wide feet these might not be the best option.

Love these boots. One word of caution -- the tan mason color has a gray finish to them. I returned the first pair I got, because I thought it was an aberration (you can't tell from the pictures), but it turns out this is normal. Bed Stu told me for future reference the tan rustic color does not have a gray finish, but these boots don't come in that color. I would have preferred no gray cast, but the rest of the boot is pretty perfect so I decided to order a second pair. I normally wear an 8.5, but these fit in size 9.

I have three pair of Bed Stu Boots and these are my favorite. Cute, comfortable and stylish. I am a teacher and am on my feet all day. The Nandi never gives me tired feet by the end of the day. Pricey but worth it. I typically wear an 8 1/2 but ordered a 9 since I would probably wear them with thicker socks, they fit perfectly.

LOOOOOOOVE! I always get so excited to find stylish boots with no heel. Bed Stu quality is always A+. Excellent boot and super comfortable!

Love these boots... a really nice staple to add to my closet. High quality leather, but distressed and unique. As far as size, I usually wear an 8 and ordered an 8. I am very glad I did. They fit perfectly. There were some reviews that they ran small. I will note, I do have on the narrow side of average foot. So, I’m not sure whether that could be a reason for some needing to size up? If you have a wide foot, I’m not sure these would work for you. They were all around a great boot! Very pleased with the purchase ?

Bed Stu makes a great product and these boots are no exception. The leather is amazing and the footbed is comfortable. Over time they will mold even more to my foot and break in further, but after wearing for an entire night I had no trouble. I especially love the bottom of this boot as it has a substantial grip that is often lacking in other high quality boots. This is my second pair of Bed Stu boots and I couldn’t be happier, the brown is a rich color that goes with everything as well.

These are slightly snug, but the leather is soft. I was able to wear them for 8 hours the first day and my toes could feel the sides of the boot, but no blisters. I think they will break in gently. Nice to slip on and off. The material on the bottom makes them quiet to walk in.

These are beautiful! I bought the mason tan, mine do not have a grey tint to them as someone else had stated. They maybe run a smidge on the small side, I am usually between 7.5-8 and the 8 fit. I had tried other Bed Stu styles that ran really narrow & didn’t fit, but these are perfect!

These are fabulous! So comfortable right out of the box. I am a true 9 in almost every pair of shoes I own. I ordered a 9.5 and they fit perfect with a sock. Go half size up in my opinion. Maybe a little snug around the toe area, but I could feel as I walked around the house that they relaxed a bit. I’m going on a trip and had to choose between these boots and another pair, ultimately I chose to return these because I can’t swing 2 pair at the moment... but you wait, I will be back for these. In love ??

These boots are amazing! I’ve been holding out for a long time for the perfect pair. These look perfectly worn on arrival and are excellent quality. I am in the design industry and need a good boot to stomp around job sites for a short while but can still look great anywhere else. These are perfect for that. Just so in love! They are about a half size big (bought a 7, a 6.5 would have been fine if available). However, I have a need for super extra warmth with thick socks because of a circulation problem in cold weather so the extra room was welcome. Something to keep in mind if you are looking to wear in warm weather.

I wanted to love these so much because they looked so cute. But they were too tight in the toes and my heels kept rising up in the back. I'm not sure why they fit so oddly. They were somehow too small and too big at the same time.

Gorgeous boot, but a little snug

This is my second pair of Bed Stu Nandi's. I love Bed Stu shoes overall and these don't disappoint. I am a teacher and these are comfortable standing on a concrete floor all day. I recently went to NYC and wore them for two days all, walking all over the city. You can style this with so many outfits as well - jeans, dresses, skirts, etc.

Im size 6,5 but with some boots I’m 7 but with All my Bedstu boots I’m 7.5 , it fits very well . Love the quality n comfort of the shoe. Love them . Thanks Zappos once again you ve blown my mind away

These are a gorgeous caramel color, the leather is top quality. The only reason I didn't keep them is I prefer a pointed toe. These are truly rounded toe and the curve upward ever so slightly. But the quality on these are unbeatable. They look classier than any other brand out there.

Very comfy boot. They don’t feel heavy on your feet. A little pricey but a very nice boom

I’m a 7.5 most often and these are true to size. Plenty of room so toes aren’t squished but they look streamlined. Love the red lug sole and the distressed finish…. more interesting than solid black and they give your outfit some edge. Nice arch support and padding. I have a pair in another color, walked around a lot in them last fall and they never hurt.

So many different reviews about sizing in these boots. I am an 8-8.5. I usually go with 8.5 to be safe. 8.5 was not available so I went with 9 because more reviews said they fit small. I was sure according to how the 9 felt, however, that 8.5 would be too big. I exchanged for the size 8 and they are perfect! I don't feel they run narrow and they are definitely true to size. Perhaps the reviews on sizing are so inconsistent because they are hand crafted??? I don't know, but the two boots I got in two different sizes was very true sizing in these. My first pair of Bed Stu. I love these boots and they are very comfortable!
