Was searching for an inexpensive light hiking boot to wear during my three months stationed in Colorado Springs, something I could do an afternoon hike in if I was up in the mountains, but then keep on all day and comfortably wear to dinner. I first ordered the Levi's Dayton Denim's for something different, but soon sent those back - they came too narrow for my usual size 9. Replaced them with these, the Gordon Oily, and I am extremely happy with the choice. Inexpensive boot, but decently made, padded and after a 4 hour hike around Pikes Peak, feet were tired but no soreness due to the dimensions of the boot. Ordered a 9M and they feel great and much easier to put on then the Dayton Denim's. The blue-grey is a great color and they're easy to clean up, don't seem to scuff too badly. I highly recommend the Levi's Gordon Oily as a decent light hiking boot and a nice casual boot for walking around town.

Super comfortable. I spent a whole day walking around the city, 2-3 hours of actual walking, in 30-40 degree temps. My feet were toasty warm and comfy. The ankle padding is a nice touch and added to the snug fit. The deep blue color is cool, it attracts attention in that it's "not black" but it doesn't scream blue. Unusual, but in a subtle way. I've had these for only a month so I cannot attest to the longevity, but the craftsmanship in no way appears shoddy. I looks like boots twice the price.

These aren’t boots that you’ll own forever, nor are they the kind you’d perform hard work in, they are fashion oriented boots. They perform their function well, fit well, and weren’t overly warm. They’re certainly worth the $50 price tag, but if you want multipurpose boots quality and style, that’s built to last, I suggest you don’t purchase these. Overall, I like these boots as a temporary pair, but that’s about it.
