To the person above- yes yes yes you can use it with IPhone 7. You're iPhone 7 came with a converter for compensation for no earbud jack. Use this - plug the charger end into your phone- now use the cord inside the phone and plug it into the other end of that converter. And it works! If you don't have that adapter- seriously they are a dime a dozen. Just look for "3.5 headphone jack converter" and it will make this purse work with your iPhone 7. Like a charm!! And this is an amazing bag!!!

Apparently, the 2nd reviewer overlooked the first reviewer's comment about an adapter being needed for the iPhone 7 to work with this bag. There is an adapter that comes with the iPhone 7/7 Plus, on the other side of the packaging that encased the ear buds. The original reviewer probably never saw it, seeing as how their phone was brand new at the time of review. No biggie. At least people reading these reviews (which there weren't any of prior to the first reviewer) will know they need an adapter in order to use the handset with an iPhone 7/7 Plus, so thank you to the original commenter for that information. Moving right along... These bags are cute. They are a decent size compared to many of BJ's bags, particularly the wristlets and clutches. You should be able to fit things like your wallet or pocketbook, comb and/or brush, etc. into this bag unless they're really large. This bag can be used as a novelty bag for a special occasion or a day-to-day bag if you don't carry the world in it, like I do with my totes and backpacks.

Oh! How I LOVED this bag. I saw a girl with it one day and knew I just HAD to have it. I actually ordered it, but returned the first one, as the receiver didn't communicate as it is supposed to. Zappos was excellent with the return process. When the replacement arrived, I immediately unpacked it and connected it to my phone (Galaxy Note 5). It worked! When someone calls, simply push the button on the inside of the phone to connect and then disconnect. Yay! Soooo cool! So, off we went out shopping. When my husband and I got separated in the store, he tried to call me 3 times. As the phone goes INSIDE your purse, I never heard it ring (even though I have a loud ringtone I usually hear even if the phone is in the other room). So disappointed! If Betsey had made an outside pocket/pouch this might've worked. Alas, Betsey is an artistic designer, rather than a technical designer. Bummer. I hope she'll create a simialar product in the future - just with an outside place for the phone!

I own a Betsey telephone bag. It is really cute and fairly spacious, considering it is not as big of a bag as I am accustomed to carrying. I waited until I switched to an iPhone 7 before I began carrying my bag (because the receiver actually works when plugged into your iPhone). The problem is, the receiver doesn't have the traditional iPhone earbud jack, so it doesn't work. I am so sad about that. I considered returning my bag, but it's so unique that I would rather not return it. I am unsure as to whether or not Apple makes some sort of converter jack that plugs into the charger portion of the iPhone 7 or 7Plus. That would be the only way you can use the newest iPhone with this bag. It is perfect for the iPhone 6/6s and 6Plus/6s Plus.
