This is my third pair of the best shoe for light hiking, walking, street and path cruising. This design has remained in production for 25 yrs. these anniversary models are the best. Leather lined, perfect foot bed, waterproof feet protection you need. Stable and firm five eye lace system wraps your feet in comfort. Very cool shoes.

These top notch Ecco have a rugged-casual look. They are one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, including any of my walking shoes, Ecco brand or other brands. Wore them all day walking through the city on vacation, and they were great. Walked about 3 miles that day. Could easily have taken along this one pair on vacation, but my "back up" plan shoes were calling my name. Great traction and quiet. Really like the interior upgrade, described as "textile", but looks like leather to me. I prefer this amber sole color to the green of the Track II, as well as the "flashy" laces. Expecting them to have lasting endurance keeping the same incredible high quality they today. Thanks.

I love these shoes, I have been waring these exact same shoes for over 20 years, at least 10 pairs by now. The only problem is that I had to wait 6 months for them to come in my size this time. I hope they don't stop making them but it seems like they might be, you better get a pair now if you can find them in your size. I would by another pair if they had them just to make sure I have a back up pair. They are the best shoes ever made, just ask anyone that has them. Waterproof, light, comfortable the minute you put them on with almost no break in needed at all. For walking a long way, the best, standing around, fantastic. I love them.
I'd also recommend:
I used to love the Cole Han with the Nike Air soles but they quit making them.

They are similar to the other track 2 mocs but somehow fits better on my foot. I think the top of the shoe below the laces is a bit longer than the old track moc so it fits differently. I find them to be slightly more rugged/boot-like and less old fashioned looking. Quite soft and feel like zero break in required. Leather inside, unlike some of the other gore text shoe boots made by Ecco, which contributes to the high end feel and comfort

Shoe only comes in “D” width, wish it came in wide (“E”). That said, I’m able to use a shoe stretcher over a few weeks to expand the width. Once done, this shoe is one of the most comfortable shoe I’ve own. This is my 4th pair.

I have been wearing the track II for the past 10 years or so. It was time for a new pair and I saw the track 25 and decided to give them a try. My old shoes were a size 44 and so that’s what I ordered in the new shoes. They were too big. I returned them and ordered the 43 and they fit spot on. The new shoe in a size 43 was the same length as the old pair of 44’s. I’ve Included a picture for reference with both shoes side by side. Overall, I’m happy with the track 25. Another review mentioned that the track 25 had a longer toe box and that the laces were brought back a bit. In the photo, you can see that the laces are moved back a bit.

My 3rd pair over many years. Most comfortable and sturdy. Use for every day as well as hiking. Will purchase again once these wear out.

It’s important for buyers to know that the Ecco 25 low and mids are European sized, and the conversion table is simply wrong. I wear a size 12 in any other shoe, but a 45 in the Ecco, which the table lists as 11-11.5. O.K. I purchased both the mid highs and the low cut, and so far the mid high boot fits better, even though the last is supposed to be identical to both. The low cut is a handsome shoe, but really heavy in weight, almost as heavy as the boot. Both soles give good traction on mixed terrain and on sidewalks, but on moist smooth flooring they have zero hold. It’s like sailing on ice. So far, the shoe seems reluctant to break in, as the leather isn’t very pliable for a $250 shoe. Left toe has a sore spot, and I have ordered a stretcher to see if I can alleviate that pressure point. I’m hoping that with break in time they will be as comfortable as the price would indicate they should be. On wet areas, they won’t get better, so I’ll just have to watch it. Not a 5 star purchase for me, especially considering the price.

Excellent. These are expensive shoes for me, but well worth it because of my plantar fasciitis. These are the only shoes that I can wear without inserts and do not hurt my feet! The look good and feel great.

Excellent workmanship and fit. Very comfortable. The style is a bit boxy if your looking for an all purpose hiking and casual work shoe.

Nice looking shoe and comfortable. I have only worn the shoe a couple times so the comfort level could change. The shoe appears well made.

I have had several Track 2 among many other Ecco shoes First time trying Track 25 Seem to Be heavier and stiffer? Still too soon to tell (only worn a few times) As far as the Track 2 they are one of the best so I’m optimistic as these break in they should be fine!

I've been buying this particular Ecco shoe since before Zappos existed, and have been grateful the it has never been restyled or changed. Comfortable and great traction. Eventually I wear them out, it is usually the stitching around the top of the toe where the shoe flexes, but this is not a complaint, as the entire shoe is suffering at that point and I happily buy a new pair. A superb shoe.

This shoe feels about 1/2 size too long. The heal needs to be about 1/4 inch taller in the back in order to prevent heel slipping. The quality of the build and the materials used are impressive, but more attention needs to be paid in the design to keep the foot locked into the shoe so that the heal does not slip.

The leather this shoe is made from is exceptional. The overall quality of the build is exceptional. Unfortunately, these shows run at least a half size too large in length. In addition, the back of the heal of the shoe is about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch too short and thus my heals slip badly when wearing this shoe. If the heal was just higher in the back they would slip much less and my overall review would be been very high.

Poor construction/quality control! I noticed the 2nd time I put them on that one of the leather shoelace eyelets was torn loose.
