Borns are great. I bought the taupe color of these ankle booties at the end of winter last year and wore them as often as I could before the weather got too warm. I do a lot of walking during my work day, but these boots were comfortable all day. I thought the leather laces appeared too heavy for the style of shoes and leather laces tend to come untied so I replaced them with black laces. The shoes are taupe so black laces do not look out of place, and they make the shoes blend with black leggings. When I bought these shoes I was concerned because my feet are a little wide and many shoes are too narrow for me, but the width is perfect.

These are very cute, laes half way up and that's ok with me. Hard to wear socks though, they get pulled down.

Love these booties. Way more stylish than chukka boots, and a good change from sneakers or walking shoes when weather gets colder. I ordered them in Burgundy Distressed, which is a beautiful deep wine color, which contrasts nicely with the lighter braiding, sole, and laces. Super comfortable. I am keeping them even though I don't need them, because they are so amazing.

I love these boots! Super comfortable for my bad feet. I need supportive wide toed shoes to accommodate a foot problem and these are great! I think I need both colors since I wear them everyday. My only complaint is that the true leather smell is horrible at first! Not sure if it’s the leather or something they put on it to protect the leather, but I had to put them out in the hall at night because the smell was so strong. It wore off after about a week though.

The Born Temple shooties are the same high quality and comfort as all other Born shoes I've purchased. The problem is the sizing. Typically I can size down in Born to an 8 from my typical 8.5. After reading some reviews that these shoes ran small, I decided that 8.5 would likely be good. Unfortunately they were so tight that I decided to size up one full size. The 9.5 were gigantic and seemed much greater than 1 size up. I ordered a size 9 elsewhere since they were not in stock in any of the colors with Zappos. The 9s are roomier than I would like knowing these shoes are going to stretch, but I'm keeping them anyway because the style is unique. These would be a perfect shoe in my opinion if the sizing was on point.

I love the look of the shoe however it was a little snug and my heels kept coming out of the shoe. I am returning as the shoe is not going to be functional for that reason.

Wanted these to work but to many issues. Every pair of soaks I wore with them would get pulled down inside the boot. Finally the seams rubbed on the inside top of my foot. One boot felt fine the other was terribly uncomfortable. But they are so cute & did get many compliments.

Love these boots. These are my 2nd pair. The size has changed. My old ones are 7.5. Had to buy 8

I love these Booties, but I need a size 9. I have worn 8.5 Born for years but these are too short with socks and I gotta have the socks.

Born Quality as expected, but will be returning. They look a little too much like Robin Hood shoes.

Love these boots but as others have said, they run about 1/2 to 1 size small. I’m normally an 8.5, 9 if I want to wear thicker socks, and the 9.5 is perfect for me.

I ordered the Temple in a size 9.5 and the Temple 2 in a size9 (because there was no 9.5). Other reviews said that these shoes fit a bit small and they were right. I am almost always a 9. The 9.5 fit perfectly. However, I like the style of the Temple 2 a bit better but it's a tad tight. So I need to make a decision - do I keep the better fit or the one who's design I like better. I love the distressed leather on both! I also love the idea of a cork sole as I am a fan of Birkenstocks. If I knew they would stretch enough, I would keep the Temple 2 in a size 9. Can't wait to wear the ones I decide to keep!

I absolutely love these shoes. They run true to size, extraordinarily comfortable. Everytime I wear them, someone stops to ask me about them. I highly recommend any shoes or boots by Born, but particularly these.

Love this boot, though to me, it felt a full size smaller. It was a little loose in the ankle area too, but so cute and comfy.

The bootie was very comfortable, however I was trying to find a bootie that would work with a brace I have to wear and these did not work due to that.

My mother loved them and they looked really nice on.

I have very wide feet and usually wear 9.5 to 10 depending on the company. I ordered a size 10 and they are a bit loose in the heel area. Causes socks to get pulled down, I found better socks prevent this issue. They were a little snug across the toe area but I used rubbing alcohol on the inside before I wore them and they loosened up instantly. They say grey but they are brown, like the picture. They are super soft, gorgeous and I absolutely love the look.

Nice shoes. Very comfortable, but I wish the laces all the way up.

Beautiful shoes. Well-made. But my socks kept slipping down and crunching up at the bottom when I tested out walking in them.
