Retro sneakers with style. These are like many shoes from the past in that they have no arch support. Just a thick insole pad that will slightly conform to your foot. If you have moderate to high arches you will need additional support. The good news is the that foot bed is easy to add an insole to. I used some US size 13 insoles and I had - I trimmed a few mm off of the toes to make them fit right.
In terms of sizing these shoes differ from many Grenson shoe styles. For example I wear a UK 11 in the Grenson Archie (Last: 201, Fitting: G) but I wear a UK 12 in these Low Tops. By way of example I wear a 12.5 (D) US in New Balance and Allen Edmonds. So I think that adding a half size to your US shoe size may work well for most shoppers.
I am very happy with these shoes. The are not the run-of-the-mill low tops and they lack any external branding whatsoever.
