These shoes look and feel great on my feet. Love the styling and they appear to be constructed well. The black on black color enables me to wear them to the office and also going out to clubs to see concerts. And the price was great, too!

They fit well but the tongue is a stretchy fabric attached to shoe at sides. This detail if you have high instep it is somewhat difficult to get shoe on. I'm going with that this part will stretch after wearing a bit. I have noticed in stores that a lot of brands are going with this detail.

Good looking shoe, but a serious pain to put on. The tongue is fixed so you can't loosen the up much to slip on, hoping they break in a bit. These could definitely benefit from an insole too, not the most comfortable.

These are a little tight and uncomfortable for now...they will probably break in a bit after some wear, however. I typically wear nike men's size 13 wide width, but zappos doesn't carry a lot in that size. So I went with a regular 13, which I have done with other Nike's. Sometimes they break-in after a while and feel quite comfortable, other times not so much. Only time well tell. I do like the design, though.

Not very much support and has a rigid feel. They look really nice for the price but they wear a bit small and are not all that comfortable for long periods of time. Would not recommend to walk very far in these as they are not very comfortable.

Super good looking shoes; can dress up or down; really versatile with different color schemes. But they are a huge pain to get on and off -- and I have a narrow foot! Had to return because I take shoes on and off coming and going from home.

Soles are the most important thing in a skate shoe for me. In that regard, these shoes are OK or good. They seem similar to my favorite skate shoe ever, Nike Mavrk Mid II. Unfortunately, Nike discontinued those. They call these 'mids', but they don't fully cover my ankles, which is why I wear mids- to prevent ankle bites. I was prepared to live with that, but when I studied the construction materials of the uppers I developed an active dislike of the shoe. The material over the toes feels like super thin suede, and the uppers feel like thin vinyl. The whole shoe just feels super cheap. I just finished wearing out the last of three pairs of Nike Mavrk Mid II shoes, and they were the best skate shoes I ever owned. The Portmore II Mids look like the Mavrik II in the pictures, but the Portmores feel like a cheap imitation. Why in the world would the same company make a shoe that looks the same, but is inferior in every other way? I returned them.
