Now these shoes were just perfect for me. Plenty of room for my wide foot. They are also Cute and Comfortable. And there’s room for an orthotic!

I have a hard time wearing dress shoes due to metatarsal problems on the bottom of my feet. But with the metatarsal support in these shoes, I can! No more wearing hiking boots to funerals ! lol

Best shoe ever. So comfortable esp. with the bunion I have. Only disappointing feature is that the shoe is hard to get on tight enough as the Velcro strip isn’t quite long enough to make it fit tightly. Highly recommend and will buy again.

These are comfortable right out of the box, and cuter than in the photographs! I wear an 8 or 8/12 depending on the shoe, and have a wide-ish foot. Based on other reviews, I ordered an 8M and it fits perfectly. A wide would have gapped around the edges. I'm very pleased!

I purchased these shoes about six months ago and I did not review them initially. However, I was putting a little polish on them tonight because I'm leaving on a trip tomorrow and I realized that these are probably the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. I initially bought them with the idea I would wear them occasionally but I think I have worn them about 6 days out of 7 for the past six months. I'm getting ready to buy them in another color.

Omg, I LOVE these shoes! I wore them all day yesterday, and had no blisters, rubs or other discomfort. The inside of the shoe is completely smooth. They did not irritate my bunion in any way. (Somebody needs to tell the shoe manufacturers that seams in the upper which go over the bunion area are a no no.) I took the advice in the comments and ordered a half size smaller and they fit perfect. I would say a 9 1/2 in these shoes is equivalent to a 10 in a Clarks. I ordered the pewter color and it is really nice, and a true darkish silver. I hope this style stays around for awhile, as later on I may order them in black, too. Thanks, Zappos!

This is the first time that I have purchased Taos shoes. This is a great comfortable shoe for business casual. I did not expect it to be 1 full size larger than my regular size of 9.5. I love working with this company. I ended up having to return the shoe twice before finding the correct size. It was very easy to return the items. Great customer service.

I like these shoes because they look feminine and less orthopedic than most comfort shoes. Unfortunately, the throat just barely covered my bunion area and I knew would be painful in no time. I usually wear between 7.5w and 8w due to bunions. I couldn’t get my foot into the 7.5w, and the 8w just barely fit.

The width was great on these shoes but the way the front tapered down, it bothered my big toes so I had to return them.

These were a bit of a disappointment. They run small. I’ll keep them and hope that they stretch some.

I've never worn Taos but I like the look of them. Unfortunately, I wear a 10.5/42 so the size 11 was too long and the size 10 was too short. If they made a half size I would have kept them, most likely. They were comfortable and not too silly looking for this 62 year old.

Oh how I wish these fit! They are the size that I wear in other Taos shoes, but despite being labeled wide they squished my toes painfully both sideways and from the top. Otherwise, they are beautiful and have the nice Taos insole.

Nice shoe but too narrow in the toes, not the rounded toe I expected based on the description.

I just bought my third pair this fall. I loved the fit of the last two pairs. I was so sure of the no-break-in-needed quality of these I packed them to wear to a conference. Big mistake. This new version is disappointing.

I liked the style but the leather was so stiff and unflexible. It might soften over time, but felt like it would cause blisters if worn for lengthy walking. I love Taos sneakers and sandals and was hoping these would work, but I had to send them back.

From the reviews, I thought that my bunion/hammertoe might not be a problem with this shoe. Unfortunately, for me it is very narrow (I ordered a W) and the toe bed is very restrictive, even with the insole removed. It's a real shame because it is a very cute shoe, seems to be well made and looks like it would provide a good arch support. Just not for me..

The shoes were comfortable when I first tried them on but within a few minutes, I knew I had to return them. The back of the shoe around the heel was too high for my foot. The top and sides of the back of the shoe rubbed the bottom of my ankle bone on both sides when walking on the carpet. There was generous room for my toes and, even with my bunions, these well made shoes were wide enough. Perfect shoe but not for my size 8M foot.

I have a pair of Taos sandals in size 12, which I love. However, these shoes (also size 12) were very large. There was at least half an inch of extra room at the toe. Otherwise these shoes seem like they'd be quite comfortable.

This shoe, which I ordered in a 10M, was so wide, and much longer than other shoes I've ordered in the same size. Disappointing. Cute design, but....

I bought these for comfortable walking shoes and they hurt the moment I tried them. The front leather just crosses my foot in the wrong place.

Cute and comfortable alternative to heels. Wear this to work when I don’t wear sneakers.

Let’s start by saying I have a lot of Taos shoes, mostly the canvas tennis shoes. With major foot issues like high but collapsed arches, the Curves & Pods footbeds with their seriously aggressive arch supports make my feet, knees, and hips a lot happier. In shoes like the Moc Star and regular Star, I buy a 9.5 for my 8.5 size feet. In their leather tennis shoes and boots, size 9 is better. In this Ta Dah shoe, I found the 8.5 to be perfect. The arch support is mediocre at best, more than none but really not even moderate. However, those insoles are removable. The shoe is wide enough even in the medium width to easily replace the included insoles with the more supportive Curves & Pods insoles from a pair of Taos tennis shoes. I’ve attached a picture of a pair of 9.5 size replacement insoles inserted into an 8.5 size TaDah shoes. I didn’t have to shorten the insoles at all to fit. As you can see, the inner arch comes up pretty high in the shoes, but you really can’t tell when they’re on your feet. Shoe heaven when you can’t wear tennis shoes to a fancy event!

Feminine yet sturdy. I bought these more than a year ago. They’re good looking enough for church but very comfortable, too. I’ve been trying to find some good asking shoes for an upcoming vacation, but nothing seemed to work. My husband asked why I didn’t want to wear my Taos Ta Dah’s. He was right! I just thought of them as walking shoes even though that’s what I do when I wear them! No blisters even when barefoot.
