I purchased this mat based on anonymous review, December 6, 2018. I’ve also practiced yoga (off and on) for about the same amount of time, but I’m no expert or anything. He/she was right. You will not slip, ever, with this one and I love the color. I also purchased a yoga bag to tote the mat, hand towel, mat towel, spray bottle, and water bottle to and from class. Don’t know if that is considered “traveling,” but have not had any issues with it being too heavy. Am truly enjoying my yoga practice now. I had been looking for a yoga mat that I would not slip. I have been doing Yoga for almost 20 yrs and even knowing that slipping comes because you are not using the muscles you should, there are times that you can not avoid it. This mat just hit the spot, as soon as I tried it, I could feel the grip. I also own the PRO which I have had for over 5 years and could never break it in! I love the X! Downside? To heavy to travel with :(

I have been practicing Ashtanga Yoga for fifteen years and have primarily always practiced with a Manduka Pro. Since I was looking for a light non-slip alternative mat for my holidays, I came across this mat. After all the skepticism I had with all the reviews of my predecessors, I was positively surprised about the quality, the light weight and the good slip resistance. I chose the right mat for my daily yoga practice on vacation.

Thickness and grip are exactly what I was looking for. No more knee and elbow pings bc the mat is thin. Grip is great, even when sweaty. Using mostly for HIIT type workouts and yoga. Recommend!

I bought this about a month ago and I absolutely love it. After making yoga practice part of my daily life, i began to notice my old mat falling apart. When I started looking for mat my main concerns were sustainability, versatility (I like to do pilates from time to time) and longevity (I didn't want to be forming out this kind of cash in a couple years again when my cheapie lasted five years). Overall, manduka mats met my expectations and then some! This mat so nice to practice on. My knees and wrists definitely appreciate it! I also was very happy with their mat recycling program! How amazing that they'll recycle your old mat and send you a label to so?!? I took full advantage of this option. ORDER THE MAT! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

Nice grip-wish I had bought one another MM thicker...enjoying it the matt. I used these at Lifetime Fitness for several years.

Great mat! Good thickness for exercise + yoga routines. Great grip. Easily wipes clean. Perfect for someone who likes traditional workouts + yoga.

I bought this mat because I read that it was thicker than most. I have an issue with my right hand which makes it difficult to be able to do Down Dog or other movements that require my hand to be down for a long period of time. This mat provides enough padding that it allows me to do the pose for a longer period without hurting.

Love this mat! Perfect thickness and stickiness. The cheap mats I've been buying didn't have enough grip & I would slip during some poses.

I got two of these mats, one for my husband and one for myself. We occasionally go to yoga classes and wanted to invest in decent, moderately priced mats. I really like the durability and thickness of this mat. It has a good amount of vision, but not too much.

I was looking for a mat not so heavy, portable, confortable and grippy. And I have found it! It is perfect and very beautiful!

I bought this mat one month ago and I'm still excited to get on it. It travels well, it keeps me comfortable during my practice, I never want to get off of it. I love this mat!

I love this mat! In the photo, it looks much thinner, but I am very happy with this mat. The cushioning is just enough to keep me comfortable, but not too much; I'm still able to maintain balance during long poses. Easy to clean and I am a big fan of the color. The only disadvantage is the weight, but it's not a dealbreaker.

I like this Yoga mat it is flexible and light, but It's a little difficult to roll it up.

I bought this mat a few weeks ago and am loving it! The mat has great cushioning, I love the color, and it's very light and easy to transport. Very happy with the mat and would even like to buy another after using mine.
