I got the silver pair of this style for my daughter (who was 6) last year, and she barely wore them because she said they were too hard to get on and off by herself, and weren’t comfortable. Now that she’s tying her own shoes, however, we tried again and got her the blue sparkly ones - and this year (she’s 7 and in 2nd grade now), she LOVES them! They came with two pairs of laces - one bright pink, and one rainbow (she asked for the rainbow first, but loves both). She says they’re super comfortable to run around in, and it looks like they’ll hold up well because the craftsmanship is very good (e.g., no loose stitching, etc). Happy kid, happy parents!

Cutest shoes. Love that they zip up makes it easy to get ready for school not to have to worry about the laces. But lots of ways to make them adjustable and comfortable.

My daughter LOVES these shoes due to the sparkle and slight high top look. I like that she can tie them but then the Velcro keeps the tie in place, love that they come with 2 pairs of laces because those are always the first thing that goes, and that they have the super comfy memory insole that keeps me buying Hanna shoes over and over again. My 8 year old put them on, and exclaimed that they were the most comfy shoes she's ever worn!

Terrible shoes. Very heavy. The laces are a big problem. Two sets that were tucked in to the shoe. Not sure how they are supposed to be worn. Nike has much better design with laces that are just decorative. I will be returning and getting a different brand. Too bad, because they are cute in the picture.
