I should have known. The european size is listed as 41 and they list the (American?) size as 11. I believe it's more traditionally 41-10 and 42-11. That being said, I should not have been surprised when the shoes came and I could hardly fit them on my feet. I'm starting to be annoyed at shoe company's that seem to want the illusion of offering shoes for women with feet above size 9 but not trying that hard. I had a pair of Camper boots for years that I loved and worked so well for me but I think i'm done now.

Opted for these after trying similar Eccos. Thanks to the all-rubber sole they don't make a lot of loud clomping when you walk. Super comfortable, like you could walk for miles in them.

Love how you can take these right out of the box and go, no break-in period required. Spent a full day on my feet at work, and l feel great. Arch support is great even with a heel. I usually wear a 9, but the 39 was way too small especially in the ankle. Great style and color - these will go with (almost) everything!

I love this shoe! It's so comfortable and it's tight enough on the ankle so I don't feel like I'll trip if my ankle gives out. I have worn it for going out, work, pleasure and my feet do not hurt afterwards. My recommended size is a 39 (I am a women's 9) but I bought a 40 instead and the fit is perfect

These are well made stylish boots; however, they are too red for what I was wanting so I am returning. These also run a little small; I am an 8 or 7.5 and my toe hit the end of the 8.

I'm usually a pretty solid US size 8, but ordered size 39 based on the previous review. They fit perfectly and are really comfortable. The opening is on the tight side, so I suspect they might not be comfortable for everyone (that's my only complaint about them). Otherwise, they look awesome; I already got many compliments.
