I so wanted these to work! But not for me. :( Perfect heel height, with enough modest "flare" to overcome the dowdy lower heeled pump issue. Wonderful padded insole, stable to walk on, seemed to fit me perfectly. I ordered two pair based on the reviews, for this years fall and winter work shoe wardrobe. I wore a pair around the the house for two hours, and as time went on, I felt hmmm...I think I'm getting a bit of pressure on the left heel and right under ankle area. I kept them on another hour while I stood and cooked and sure enough, blister inducing levels of pressure, redness, etc developed in those two spots. It's probably just me and some weird anatomy or something. And, I should add I have super delicate skin both from meds I'm on and not really wearing shoes other than tennis shoes or flip flops often for the past two years (while I fought cancer.) So I have no built up callous in typical pump-wear areas. I'd say, give them a try. But the leather is not the super soft, moldable to your foot type, which is what I may have to end up with (though it's not my favorite look.)

These shoes are lovely, classic, comfortable. Size feels good to me. I tried several styles but needed an all-round pair of black pumps that could dress up or down, and these fit the bill perfectly!

This shoe is very similar to the SAS (SAN ANTONIO SHOES) "MILANO" which I have in beige, black, and navy. SAS does not, however, make them in a dark brown which is what "mink calf leather is. In American-made shoes (like SAS) I wear an 8.5 Wide. In European-made like Mephisto and Arcopedico or Israeli NAOT, I need a 9.5 (size 40) medium. As Ecco is a Danish company, in spite of what some reviewers wrote, I ordered the pump in a 40M. It fits perfectly. My feet are very sensitive, so I always spray new shoes inside with a "shoe stretch" the first few times I wear them to soften the leather. I did so with these Ecco pumps and am wearing them as I write. Very comfortable. Now if Ecco just made them in "steel gray" my shoe wardrobe would be complete.

Better than it looks in photo or expected. This is a more elegant style than is readily obvious in the photos. There is a subtle elegance and good quality leather. I selected several brands/styles when ordering a basic black/block heel shoe for work and travel, and this is the winner. It is cut just a bit lower/runs just a bit narrower across the widest part of the foot - where you may have a bunion - and if this area is an issue for you, do not choose this shoe. However, if your feet are average to ever-so-slightly wider, the fit will be fine. I usually fit a 9 but found the 9.5 to be a bit better. I believe the leather will stretch just a bit as they break in. For such a simple design, it is executed and made well. Strongly recommend.

Classic design. Great comfort. For me they will take a bit of wearing in though (I have wider than average feet).

These shoes are very comfortable which makes up for the plain style. My only problem is the size was a half a size too big, sometimes I have this problem with European sizing. Going to send this pair back and see if the size down works.

Beautiful shoe, comfy right away. I love the leather linings, they make show show breath so much better. Nicely padded and grippy sole. I would say a very good value as well.

I love these shoes, but the do NOT run large. I ordered my normal size and they are so small. I specifically ordered my normal size because other reviews stated that they ran large. NOT MY OPINION. I will be sending mine back and ordering a full size larger.

I am a standard 6.5, this shoe was a bit too big.

These shoes are very comfortable. When I first tried them on, I didn’t think they were going to work out because they didn’t initially feel comfortable. I then walked around on the carpet a while, and they are great! I need specialized support because I need spine alignment (so no heels, etc.) or I get neck pain. These shoes provide the support I need while also being stylish.

This a classy and comfortable shoe. I was able to dance the night away with them at a recent celebration!

Perfect to work. I’ve a width foot so I took a large size than normally pick and it’s a little large on the back but they’re very comfortable for someone, like me, will be stand most of the day.

These are very nice shoes. My feet are true size B, but a little bigger than a size 11, and the shoe cramped my toe area. Otherwise, I would have been very happy with them.

I ordered my usual size 39 and these fell off my feet. I thought I could make them work by stuffing cotton in the toes, but after wearing them all day, I was miserable and I could barely walk without them falling off. Since I wore them, I can't return them. What a waste of money. The shoe is beautiful, though. Looks so classy and would have been very comfortable, had it fit. My fault that I just didn't return them prior to wearing. someone at Goodwill will get a fabulous pair of shoes!

Bought this as a “work horse” basic pump. Love the lower heel and the shape is elegant not dowdy like so many low heel pumps. Comfort is very good worn through first day with a little stiffness which should be ok over time. Very happy with this purchase

Probably a touch too large .., though not quite a half size larger. But, its a classic, go with everything shoe so I'll keep it and add heel pads inside to try to fix the fit.

Beautifully built shoe. I wear an 8M and generally any shoe with EU sizing is a 39 for me. But these were too long and my heal slipped out. Returning for the EU 38.

Opened the box and these shoes are beautiful, and the quality is excellent. The right shoe fit perfectly, and the left shoe was a full size too big. This has to be a sizing issue, and I sadly must return.

I love the way these shoes fit and look. Classic, comfortable, easy to walk in. Slight discomfort during first day's wear across one foot's "bunion" area but that resolved after another day of wear. The heel is just right without being dowdy.

This shoe was o.k. overall for the style, color and heel height. I liked how it looked. I had hoped to wear it to the office for work. I tried both size 41 and 42. The 41 was just too small. The 42 was good for the length and width but it was tight across the top of the toe box like the edge was digging into my foot and I did not think the leather would stretch. So back it goes. I usually wear a size 10 to 10.5 medium.

I have purchased ECCO before, but this shoe looked cheap and felt tight around the top of foot.
