Bought these because I needed waterproof boots and I could not justify paying 140 bucks on hunter boots. If you have wide feet or larger calf do not buy these. I would say that I have average size calves and average width feet. If they were any bigger or wider these boot would not work. These boots are just the right height. I was also surprised by how light weight they are, not clunky at all. Looking forward to the next rainy day!

I have had these boots for nearly one year and they have served me very well. I live on a ranch in southern, MO. We have lots of different weather. I wear these boots to feed cattle, clean horse stalls, walking in the tall grass, and anytime it is wet. They were warm enough I didn't have to use winter boots until it got in the 20's. I am going to get another pair as backups to the ones I have. Mostly because when I find a product that works for me companies seem to know and discontinue making the product or "improve" it so it no longers works for me. :-(

I love these boots and love the price even more. I originally purchased a pair of “Hunters” thinking, if you want a good boot why not buy the best......however, I did choke on the price a little. I have wide calves so I had to but the expandable back ones. I liked them, however they seems a little hard to get on and off. I wear a size 8 and purchased an 8. When I went to exchange them for a larger size, truly only to make them easier to get on and off, a loser fit, they didn’t have any larger sizes available. So I returned them. I liked the Hunters, but they are expensive and I just couldn’t see spending the money. I needed a good everyday boot to wear while taking the dogs out to play in the morning, in the soggy grass and to wear outside on rainy days. I found this pair and figured I would give them a try and definitely liked the price. I LOVE these boots. Again, I wear an 8 and because I wanted a slightly loser fit and something that would be easy to take on and off daily, I purchased a 9 and I am beyond happy with the fit and feel of them. They do not feel “to big” and are easily taken off and on daily and seems to be of good quality. These fit my 16 in calves nicely and I can wear them with leggings and have a little wiggle room. If you have the money, the Hunters were nice. However, if you want a good, solid, nice fitting, reasonably priced boot, buy these.

These exceeded my expectations! Not only is the price a steal, but the ankle also fits much closer than other rain boots I've tried, making these great for walking. And they fit comfortably over my 16" calves!

Felt perfect right out of the box. I have a wide foot and these 8M fit! Walked around in them for a few hours in rain and mud at a animal sanctuary. Loved them! I have problems with shoes with no arch support and these boots seemed fine for me. And no heel slippage. And what a great price! Might get another pair.

Definitely size up to wear thicker socks. I usually wear a 9.5 in Nike’s and a 10 fits perfectly with wool carhartt socks.

I normally wear an 8 but purchased a 9 so I could wear thick socks if needed. I used when walking dogs in rain/snow. Put them on this morning and they are so soft and comfortable, I forget I even have them on. I love love love these boots. (I hate clunky heavy boots which these ARE NOT)

I normally wear a ten and had to move up to an eleven. The boot fit ok, but seemed a bit snug getting on and off. I was hoping for a thin lining but it does not have one. Not quite the fit I was hoping for.

These boots are great. Highly recommended. Excellent quality for the price. I am buying a second pair. I appreciate the simple design -- functional and yet stylish at the same time. Please note, I do feel the sizing runs on the smaller side. As I recall it is whole sizing only -- I am typically 8-8.5 and the 9 was definitely the right size. Consider that you will likely wear these with socks so I would go up a size if you are between sizes.

My daughter is 9 but has a women's size 8 foot already. We often run into shoes fitting her foot in length but being too loose around the ankle. That wasn't the case with these boots... they fit her perfectly. She needed these for helping out at the barn- taking horses back and forth from the pasture, etc. She says they are very comfortable for that purpose.

I loved this boot! There's not enough room for a thick fuzzy sock but, these boots do keep my feet warm and dry! It was a little difficult to take the boot off, but it didn't take more than a little tug. I would definitely purchase again. GREAT PRICE ZAPPOS!

I have "regular" calves and find the fit in the calf to be perfect. It is narrow slipping your foot in through the ankle area, but that's what gives the boot a comfortable fit so they aren't "sloppy". They are lightweight, not clunky at all, and I was standing in 3" of ice melt trying to clear an area for drainage other than our basement and my feet stayed dry and warm. I think this boot is great and the price is wonderful.

The Kamik Miranda boots are a bit narrow in the toe box, and wide at the ankle/heel. I ordered up a 1/2 size to accommodate wearing thicker socks, since they are not insulated. Although the thicker socks would have helped with the loose heel movement, that would make the toes & front of the foot fit too tightly. The calf-width is wide. Quality is substandard, as well. With so many rain boot choices, I'll return these and find a sturdier boot with a better fit. As always, Zappos makes returns easy.

Louisiana has serious rain and I was in need of simple, functional rain boots. These fit perfectly! The style is simple and clean - plus they are inexpensive, unlike other brands. The footbed has good cushion. The shaft hits be below the knee. The best part is that this brand will recycle the boot when they wear out. That's a win-win for me!

After a lot of research and wanting a quality rain boot that didn’t “break the bank” I’m so glad I found these. They are very comfortable, not overly clunky or heavy and have been great for my volunteer days helping with harvest where the early mornings have been walking through grass wet with morning dew. Would recommend. Fits true to size.

I am pleased with them. I wear waterproof boots a lot when working in the yard and walking the dog. I wanted a "nice" pair that I could keep a little cleaner to wear on walks or quick trips to the garden/hardware store. They fit comfortably. I have bigger calves and they still have a little gap for pants to be tucked in. The finish is more matte than some of this kind of boot and I wonder if they'll scuff easier. I love Kamik's policy of recycling old boots; they'll send you a prepaid shipping label to return the boots to them in Canada at their end of life and they'll recycle them.

I love these boots. I ordered them in November, anticipating dog walks and muddy yard tasks in our variable weather here in the northeast. I've worn them in the cold rain and messy, almost icy slush, even for short tasks in the snow. They have been great in all of those conditions; warm enough with my thin socks and boots socks, and the tread holds well enough that I feel very secure. I have a long but narrow foot (with some years of wear!!) and average calves; the fit is great and doesn't feel sloppy. My golden retriever is extremely happy that there is no waiting while I lace up boots nor am I making excuses (yes, to my dog) that it's too wet for a jaunt outside. Zappos delivery was quick and problem free.

Love this boot. Nice wide shaft allows for easy on/off with pants. Lighter than most other boots but just as waterproof. Actually, the traction is quite good on snow and ice as well. Really a great and affordable alternative to other pricier options out there. I just ordered the navvy pair too. Why not?!

I'm super happy with my new rain boots! What I especially like is the slim looking foot profile. Some boots look clunky, but not so for this style. When I first wore them my feet felt cold, but when I added thicker, warmer socks, all was fine. I'm surprised that they're so comfortable. I'll get lots of use out of these. Also like that Kamik will recycle them when it's time for a new pair.

I wear an 8.5 shoe but usually a 9 boot. I got a 9 and these fit just right. They aren't fancy, but they fit well, have room in the calf for jeans or tights (and I have muscular calves). The price is right and they get the job done!

The size of the shoe itself is the correct size. I read reviews on how this is supposed to fit someone with a 16" calf. I have the same size calf and it was still too tight. Figured I could try them out for a few days anyways. Thought it would loosen up. Started cutting the circulation off my legs. That was painful. Had to cut the tops of the boots so it would fit my calves. If you have big calves, I'd suggest not buying these. Like I said, the size is right, but the width is wrong.

If you have narrow feet but large calves, give these a try. While I do wish they hit half-inch higher up the leg, they’re otherwise perfect: waterproof, sturdy, easy to clean, comfortable footbed, grippy sole, snug fit, and well priced. Best of all, I can now keep up with my toddler for rainy-day adventures!

I wear an 8 or 8 1/2 normally (8 Reebok, 8 1/2 Keen hiking boots, 8 Teva), and I bought an 8 and they fit well with regular-weight socks. I never buy wide shoes, but my forefoot is slightly wide, and they fit fine. No heel slippage. I am 5'2" with a 14.5" calf. The 11" shaft on these hit me where rain boots should (boots are often too tall for me) and my calves were comfortable. The quality seems really good and I loved the price!

Wish there was a half size but I’ll add an insole for more support. Excited for use as muck boots and thrilled they were made in Canada and I could support labor that is likely regulated and fair to employees.

I love these boots! I have destroyed a number of rain boots, as many can't withstand walks , but these are wonderful. They've held up extremely well, and are comfortable enough to walk a couple miles in. I've had mine for a couple years and I would totally buy them again. I highly recommend!
