I’ve been fooled by this many times by Merrell. They say waterproof but yet rain and snow come and again the tips of my toes are freezing because that is the exact spot where the water comes in. I’m absolutely furious. I don’t know what most of you do for a living but I’m a dog walker, my funds are limited and I like to invest in products. I’ve been a merrell fan for years...but I’ve had enough of this “waterproof” BS. Their winter Mocs leak at the same spot. Right where everyone else says the rubber is crumbling. I’m outside for hours in all kinds of weather so I’m not asking for much...just keep my feet warm and dry while I’m out walking dogs. It’s miserable to come home to freezing feet and wet wool socks. Merrell used to stand for something...it used to stand for quality...now it looks like they turned it to the commercial jokes of North Face, Nike & Under Armour. Now they make products without integrity. I love these shoes, they are comfortable and my feet don’t hurt after I’m done a very long day...but I’ve purchased you to do one thing and that’s be WATERPROOF. Check out Merrell’s site you’ll see a lot of people complaining about these.

DO NOT WEAR THIS SHOE INSIDE YOUR HOUSE!!!! I bought these for my son thinking they would be a great winter transition shoe for him. When they arrived I had him try the shoe on inside our house and walk around to see how they fit. I immediately noticed they were leaving a track print on our hardwood floors. I thought that was odd and got a rag to wipe off the track marks. As I'm doing this my husband is by now looking at the very small tag that is on the shoe and notes that in VERY SMALL PRINT it states..."This product is not intended for use on, and may harm. indoor surfaces." We now have permanent marks on our indoor flooring due to these shoes. To say I'm disappointed is putting it mildly! WTF!!!! These shoes should come with a BIG warning label on your website!!! I never would have ordered them in the first place if I had known this!!! Very sorry I ordered these shoes!!!!!

I have to agree with the leaking. I’ve been wearing them for about 5 years now. In the beginning they didn’t leak and they were fine. Once they are worn about 6 months things begin to change...the leaking starts due to the siding coming unglued. I’ve had them repaired no less than 6 times. Enough is enough and in the trash they went this morning. Now I’m looking for a good pair of waterproof comfortable shoe.

I absolutely loved these shoes for 8 months, then one side wall completely blew out. I had always thought so much of Merrell quality, however, for the shoe to fail so drastically so soon, was beyond disappointing, especially for the price.

I wore my shoe for only a few months before the side split. It's still cold out in March so I can't wear these since a hole opened up where the leather split on the side. You can see how it split down below. I'm very disappointed in Merrell. I used to consider them a quality brand.

First, love Zappos. Frequently purchase family shoes from them. As for this product, read the reviews. Very comfortable. Purchased shoes in November 2017. Moderate use since then, but disappointed that the toe area stitching opened up. Under normal use, I should have been able to use the shoe much longer. Quality issue with the new Merrell shoe.

Disappointing, my husband has been wearing the Merrel Polar Mocs for years (several pairs). It looked like this was the replacement, but he won't use. They don't have the higher Neoprene barrier to keep out snow, slush, ice, cold, etc. Also, fit was different. I will have to search elsewhere to find him something...

Like several other viewers, my husband had his pair of shoes for about a year and the sides of both shoes split. Very disappointed. We have both worn Merrell shoes for years, however, we've noticed the quality of our last few pairs were not as good as previous purchases.

This shoe was awful, tore within six weeks of purchase

This is my second pair. The first pair I bought a year ago and have been very happy with them. I original bought them for their no-slip sole. These shoes do not slip (except on ice of course). The fit was perfect and they have turned into my everyday shoes.

Decided to go with a men size because women was too narrow and half size too small. Same with the men’s. Majority of the reviews were correct. Disappointed with the make and craftsmanship. Return! Looking into a different brand and disappointed.

Very disappointing. I had the same experience with this shoe as many of the other reviewers here. They were fine for 7-8 months, then the stitching on the outside side of one the shoes complete blew out. I will not buy this shoe again.
