These boots are beautiful! Sadly, though, the toe box was too narrow for my foot, so the big toe rubbed uncomfortably. I may go up one half size just to give them a chance because I love everything else about them.

I own two other UGG boots and have had the most success with a now-discontinued style (Fairmont). I have a very high arch so I have to watch the angle across the top of the boot where it hits the ankle, and the Niels boot looked like it might work. Sadly, I'm not sure it will, but mainly because the foot around the arch is very narrow, despite being sufficiently tall! This makes the boot look funny, having a generous ankle circumference but a narrow, pointy shoe at the bottom. The pictures didn't look this disproportionate so it may be a factor of my longer foot size (9.5). But in my mind, a chunky, rugged ankle should have a footbed to match, not a dainty ballerina bottom. Otherwise I love the look of the boot - very Amelia Earhart - though the exposed fleece is cream-colored in the chestnut boot and not dyed to match like in the photo. I wouldn't have really minded either way, but if that bothers you, FYI. These will be returned due to the narrowness of the footbed, and I'll look for other new UGG boot designs that might not be so narrow.

Great look with leggings! They run small so buy 1/2 size larger than normal.

Ordered the slate. Definitely a darker greenish gray, cooler tone. Read the reviews and noticed it is narrow and uncomfortable with socks. I decided to order my normal size for boots, also the size I already have in another UGG bootie with the same furry lining. They were way too narrow and very uncomfortable to wear with socks. Boyfriend commented that they looked like rainboots with buckles. Will be returning.

The color did not match the photo. I expected a mossy, lighter green and the actual boot is more of a hunter green. It’s not unattractive, just not what I was looking for. Additionally, while the lining it soft and cozy it makes the boot at least one half size smaller than stated. I have a pair of traditional UGGs in size 9 and they fit perfectly. These were uncomfortably snug.

Omg I’m so sad to say this because I love uggs and Zappos! After making this purchase it really is making me think twice about shopping on here and I don’t want it to!! Let me just say, Zappos has the best customer service any customer could ask for.. I bought these and was super excited to see the fast shipping .. when I opened the box.. it was nowhere near what I saw online and paid for.. these are like ugg want-to-bes .. I wish I could share a photo because it’s shocking! I will send the photos to Zappos so they can see, but I hope I just got an unlucky batch :(
