The circumference and shaft are definitely not as wide as listed. I have a 16 inch calf (we call them "luscious"), and these, marked at 17 inches, would NOT fit. Not even close. Please adjust the measurements so more people aren't disappointed.

These are awesome boots . Very comfortable and soft. Love them.

so sad..boot cute but they bunch at bottom by ankle and if small calves and short legs like mine, not a good look

These boots look amazing and that’s why i decided to order them even though my calves are 16 inches and the circumference of the boots is also 16 inches. I was hoping they would fit-yeah, unfortunately no! I couldn’t even pull them on, there would be no space for socks or jeans so they are going back. Also disappointed with the packaging-one boot was full of paper and properly placed in the box and the second one was just tossed in there with no packing inside it, it looked like someone tried one boot on and just threw it back in the box and that’s how it was shipped!

Calf is definitely wider but i should have paid attention to the circumference. adorable boots but I actually went down a half size because while no zipper, the wild calf made up for it and I think they ran a little wide and a little long. super cute though.

Zappos, you got this one wrong. I ordered my normal size 6.5, the circumference was 14 inches, not the 16 inches as listed in the details and I am certain there shouldn't be a 2 in difference between a size 6.5 vs size 7.

I love these boots. I wore them all winter. They are so stylish and come up almost to my knees, I am just about five feel tall. They give me height and dress up any outfit, even if I am wearing leggings. They do start to bother me if I walk to long in them but otherwise great.

The shaft is way too big for my leg - I am swimming in these boots. It's a shame because they are adorable.

These were gorgeous. Unfortunately I am usually a size 5.5 and they only had a size 6. I was hoping they would fit but they were too big, especially around my calves. I was so bummed.

Great boots! I am a 6.5 and i always order a 7 in boots, as I did this time, and they fit great. The wider shaft makes my legs look tiny and they are really comfy.

I love these Ugg boots. I'm usually a size 5, but had to go up to size 6 because they don't have a zipper and I'm glad I did. I only gave it 4 stars because it is a little wide on the calf. The mahogany color is gorgeous and goes with a lot of outfits. Well worth the price.

I really wanted to love these boots because they're the exact style I've been looking for to wear with long skirts and dresses. The boot itself is beautiful and looks just like the picture. However, the fit on these is very strange; the shaft is huge but the foot is small and was tight around my foot. There is fabric around the ankle that is unforgivably stiff, which made my ankle look huge, but then the shaft was bunchy.

These were super cute, and seemed well made. Unfortunately, they ran a bit large. The shaft of the boot around my ankle gapped out too much. I think they would have been comfortable, but the foot bed was too wide, and too large in general.

Too high of a heel. There was a weird front area of the shoe. I guess to provide support since the boot is so high, did not like how it stuck out.

These boots are gorgeous! While beautiful to look at, they were too tight across the top of my feet. I have average size seven feet so I was surprised that the fit was so tight. I think this is particularly unusual because many people expect to wear socks with boots. With these I couldn't even wear them with a stocking. I'm going to exchange them for a half-size larger in the hope that they will be wearable.

I was so excited to get these boots. They are beautiful. However they did not work with my arch. Very painful and hard to get on and off. I really wanted them to fit.
