The "gray" color doesn't look very gray online, but it is. The other thing to note, which I overlooked, is that the zipper is on the OUTSIDE of the foot, instead of the inside. Pretty comfy shoe, but too short for me, and the zipper placement bothered me.

I love everything about these boots except the quality of the leather. They scuffed within the first few days and the leather appears white underneath. Disappointed.

As usual, Born boots are elegant, and súper confortable. Just got them out of the box and wore them all day! No breaking necessary.

These are really nice boots. However, I usually wear a 10.5 to 11 (usually 11), so I ordered these in 11. They are HUGE. I mean, maybe a 12-13 huge. So, back they go.

I liked these boots because of the quality of the leather, comfort of the footbed and the no-slip tread. However, they made my feet look too big so I'm sending them back.

Beautiful but ALL Born shoes are WAY too narrow! Returning both pairs.. will never order Born again as their regular sizes are actually narrow!

Bought this in black and I love them. Wore them 4x week through the winter. Just bought the grey on sale, and one zipper sticks. Crooked tooth. May be a problem down the road so they are going back.

Love my Born boots. This is my second pair of Keefe. Can't wear boots that are much higher than the ankle and these are perfect. I trade off between these and the black every day. Even comfortable with orthotics in them.

I'd never tried Born. These are very attractive, well made, solid boots. I ordered them a half size down from what I'd normally order and the reviewers were right, they are sized big. I was able to insert orthodics easily. Unfortunately the boot is too loose in the heel, with average thickness socks. I need a snug fit for walking and these just didn't feel snug enough. Otherwise, the outer zipper and overall design are very nice; they can be dressy or casual. I am hard to fit - these were not that far off. Thanks to Zappos for their great service :)

Beautiful shoe. The leather looks really nice. Great style. Unfortunately I have to return them. I have a narrow foot & the width was fine but I also have a low volume heel & I could almost pull the boot off without unzipping them. Sad to return them but for someone who has a normal heel, these are very very nice!

ATTN narrow foot people. These are for you! They are lovely, classy boots that fit like a glove.

I loved, exactly what I expected, just the size should be half inch down.

These boots were just what I wanted. Dressy, but sturdy and well-made. They will work well for being outside, then indoors at a desk, or going to the mall. I have had to start using an orthotic inner sole but the ones I use will fit this pair with no problem, and I can wear warmer socks, when the weather turns nasty. My heel is more narrow, but this boot doesn't slip, as some medium sizes do. This might be a point to consider; it may be a little more narrow than some people like. Thanks Zappos for helping me find a great fit at a reasonable price!

Love them! They run big which is great since I am size 10 sometimes 11. The size 10 were too big on me so I figured a size 9 will be just fine. The size 9 felt great. They are very comfortable, stylish and don’t look cheap.

Amazing! I put my feet into the booties and started walking. Would not take them off!

Love these boots. I wear size 12 and they fit perfect. Beautiful color (burgundy). Super comfortable.

A bit generic in look and style, but always good quality from Born.

Just received these booties and found them very comfortable, true to size with room for socks. Very cute, attractive and well made. I got the burgundy color and it is beautiful. Can almost look brown in certain lights. The leather is somewhat of a matte finish. Will wear for a change form black and brown booties.

Lots of nice things about this boot...beautiful tan color, great safety soles, and handy side zippers for easy access. They were a comfortable fit and the width seemed reasonable ... but the toe was more pointed than rounded for my personal like so did return them.

I wear a solid 11 in most shoes and the sizing on these is generous, but not a whole size bigger. I can wear a slightly thicker sock with these. I like a wider shoe due to a bunion, and these are wide enough--but I'm hoping the width will loosen up a bit as I continue to wear them. As other reviewers noted, the zipper on the outside of the ankle is unusual and I find a little surprising every time I go to zip them up. The dark gray color is a nice change from black for wearing with jeans, pants. The heel is low making for comfortable walking and standing. Overall I really like these boots and will enjoy them through the Fall and Winter seasons.

These shoes are really more brown than gray. If you are looking for a good shoe that can double for charcoal black or brown these would be great. But if you really want gray, they won't do the trick
